Always have fun at this place but Im not an avid pool player either. Heard from others that this place has been here a very long time. You know that means something good. They have a great selection of 80s arcade machines, though Im not sure if its a quarter to play.
Super fun! Great time and the lady at the counter was way cool! Made the best nachos and fries! Wish more people knew about this place), (but Im glad it doesnt get too packed). Keep it up guys!
Its a decent place to play pool for all ages. Food, non alcoholic beverages, decent tables, sticks are worn but hey bring your own if your gonna complain. Owner is nice, staff was nice. There are rules at the door for you to read. Plenty of parking too.
Cashier bothered me to leave a review on google, so here I am. I clearly asked her TWICE to split the bill four ways; she didnt and she didnt inform me. So I ended up paying $20 rather than $5. Apparently their system doesnt allow them to split the bill which is BS. Im a finance and accounting student and have a firm understanding of those types of systems. Also, their system tries to coax you into tipping them. The option to not tip is hidden in the custom tip option. Additionally, theres absolutely nothing to tip for. They only give you balls and ring you up. A few of the tables are in terrible condition. Lastly, the cashier freaked out since my group brought a bottle of water in. Seriously? Its just water. I wouldnt be surprised if this establishment had to shut down within a year. The service was garbage.
Outside of the fact that they were just opening up for the day and had spring house cleaning going on it was a very good experience. Help was there when I needed it. I wasnt pushed into anything and was left alone to decide my fate when I needed the time to study my selections.I feel very satisfied with the experience!
Since this is the only place around. Its a shady place. Female staff is pretty cool but the owner is Shady af!! He tried to rip me off $5 .. seriously ... 1.your tables have different prices.2. Fix all your tables3. Have a flat rate!
In its prime, Hot Shots was like Cheers...somewhere you went where everyone knew your name. It was a local hangout spot with decent rates, a fun crowd, and good players. Sadly, that is no longer the case, and theres really only one reason. The equation to make this place great again is all there...except for Jeff (the owner). Hes a completely dishonest businessman that has driven countless good (and admittedly some bad) customers away. Ive witnessed him punch customers, verbally degrade them, and in general practice poor business ethics. Its not all the time, but if you catch him on a bad day, look out. I dont go to Hot Shots any more, but if you do, dont order the food...at one point they were relabeling the expiration dates on perishable items in order to pass food inspections. Just go in, take a pool table, keep your head down, and hope Jeff doesnt stop by for a visit...youll probably have an okay time. If only someone else ran this place...
Despite having to drive across town since seemingly its the only family-friendly billiards place in the area, this place is pretty much worth going if youre here to just play. The employees are nice, and the tables were standard quality, although there are some that might have a few rips/holes here and there but it doesnt affect the experience at such a big cost, so you might have to be wise about deciding where to play if youre quality-sensitive.
Cool place. Went with two friends, only $13 for an hour of pool and it wasnt too busy. Dont see what the negative reviews are talking about... and the employee, Kefa(?), was nice and friendly!
9ft tables. Alcohol free. Vegetarian options. Comfortable atmosphere. So many flavors of Italian soda.
I used to come here for years. The poor business practices and customer service of the owner Jeff is legendary in the billiards scene with many stories floating about. However, if you are not a serious pool player and okay with so-so equipment, so-so prices, loud cheesy music, and are under 18, this might be an okay place.
Inexpensive pool and pingpong. Did not try the food or drinks as it did not look appetizing. Good place to take family... teenagers...
Open year round, even when it snows 6 inches. Good tables, good music. Amazing milkshakes too.
One of my favorite places to hang out. Nice staff, good food, great music. ☺️
A bit old and dated. But very good service excellent tables. Pleasant crowd.
Dingey and the tables need some upkeep. But for the price, as long as you dont mind the tables and atmosphere, its a good place for cheap pool. With a little upkeep and TLC this place could be a much more appealing.
Great place, love the all ages and open time. Amazing food. Great group rates
Friendly staff, great tables and lots of room. Good prices
Very great food... All the supplies is provided and you can bring your own! Go here lots...
They have 2 ping pong tables, like 20 pool tables, darts, an arcade, and food. Nice place
The worse buying experience Ive ever had. The owners behavior throughout this horrible buying experience was dishonest and cowardly. I purchased a cue on 05.28.2016 from the owner Jeff. I picked a cue out of a catalog - something I didnt want to do (their selection isnt as awesome as they make it seem), but I like supporting local business, and I was there, so why not? BIG MISTAKE AND WASTE OF TIME. I came in on the weekend before a holiday. Jeff promised he would call me on Monday (a holiday, so I figured hed really call me on the following Tuesday). He did not. After waiting 8 days, I called him. I left messages several times that week, and he never returned them. After another week, he called me back to tell me he wasnt sure what was going on, and hed get back to me. After 3 weeks, he still didnt get back to me. After numerous phone calls (who has time for this?) and 4 weeks, he finally admitted to me that the cue was on backorder. Then he dodge my calls for at least another week, at which point I asked him to refund me, as he was clearly unable to fulfill my request. He promised me he would, then he dodged my calls for another few weeks. He basically stole my money. I had to file a claim with my bank to get the funds back. It took almost 3 months. They were deposited back into my account mid-August 2016. I ended up buying a cue from Pool Dawg, and spent half the money, and it was at my door in 2 days.Aside from that, tables are dirty and old, the jukebox is an old one from the 90s with the same crappy music, there is no food or kitchen to speak of, no atmosphere, and no pool player should ever go here. Lesson learned.
Clean, quiet, easy to get to. Inexpensive. No alcohol.
Nice place. The tables and cloth are a bit old but most importantly the place is clean and friendly. :)
This place is a disgrace. They have premium tables which no respectable billiard hall should have. Thier house cues suck and thier tables have roll. The felt and rails are sub par. If you want food and atmosphere, go to a restaurant. If you are a player, dont go here.
We love this family friendly place. The place has so much to offer.
Big place. Kind of out dated. I go in there to get supplies. Most of the time they have what I want, but they are out of stuff some times.
Great place to play without alcohol! Friendly personnel and all types of tables at reasonable rates.
Had a good time playing pool here, the burger and fries was actually really good too!
You have to play to get the happy hour menu.
I loved this place. Very nice service, wonderful staff, and I am definitely going back!
Nice place wish it had snooker take tables
Excellent service, working on ewuipment upgrades, excellent rstes
There are lots of tables and it isnt usually super busy. The prices are reasonable and the employees are nice.
Kind of a dive. Unfriendly service and rundown facility. Itd be nice to see changes on both of these ends.
Great place to teach a young one pool.
I have taken my daughter out there to play, she had a very good time enjoyed the atmosphere and people playing in there in general. The prices were very competitive and she felt this was a very good place to come for people just wanting to play pool and have a good time. Liked the fact that alcohol was not a factor and that the family enviorment was very comfortable. She has been back many times. Also I have held reunions here and they worked out wonderfully. everyone had a great time and enjoyed challenging each other to a good game of pool. Very family friendly and a great place to hold get togethers when you just want to have good clean fun. I recomend this hughly to all. a must try is the Old fashion shakes they can make any flavor, and my daughters fav. was the nachos!
Nice people and a few very nice tables. If you want one, spend a little more, its worth it.
We were asked to leave in a mean way with over charging. The prices are not as it says on the menu. I wont recommend this place for anyone.
Always a fun place for the family to hang out. Overpriced snacks.
Terrible owner named Jeff. Will over charge you. He has atrocious business practice and smells like alcohol everytime I go in. Never going back. Go somewhere else!
For people who do nothing other than sit there you should not tip. Crappy service.
Very friendly staff. Great milkshakes
Best place ever to take friends or family
The price is not accurate. It says 10$ for 4 people. We played for 2.5 hours we were charger 65$ without reasonable reasons. The tables are old. Doesnt worth it to go there
Lots of tables. Ping pong. Food. Pool accessories. Small arcade. Friendly staff.
There are plenty of tables, not the highest quality equipment. The staff is friendly. The menu is regular bar food, mostly fried.
Great place.
Great for family
Meh
Its 👍
