My wife has been coming here 15 years and has spent a countless amount of money on halal meat during that time. Last week, when she politely asked if the butcher and his last customer could wrap up their conversation (she had already been waiting for 10+ minutes for her order) both the customer in front of her and the butcher told her to “go away” if she couldn’t wait. She complained to the owner but no action was taken about this incredibly rude customer service, she was just told that “people make mistakes.” This awful customer service and what I can only assume is blatant sexism will stop us, and many of our friends, from returning.

This is a convenient nearby shop for buying middle eastern food products not available in chain stores. Prices are a bit expensive but I find the things I am looking for.

Friendly service, good variety of products. No fruit or vegetables, but I like the prepare food to order. Tried the beef and chicken kabobs, they were excellent. There is good selection of halal meats, also whole fish was a nice surprise. Ayran, cheese, even sour cherry preserves as well as nuts and seeds and a huge selection of spices.

Fresh bread every day! The store is very clean and organized. Spices, grains,sweets,drinks, dairy, frozen vegetables, Halal meat and much more!

This place is pretty solid. Its not like a middle eastern store that you might find in California! Its small but they have great fresh bread and a good butcher counter. They have all the dry herbs, spices and legumes as well

What an amazing little gem! The owner was so kind, and even tried to help us find what we were looking for. We ended up leaving with an arsenal of herbs & spices at AMAZING prices, possibly the lowest Ive seen, and such a HUGE selection. This is my new favorite store ♥️

One of the few places to get ingredients for Lebanese Dishes. They keep well stocked and prepare some of their items inside like cuts of meats and their bread, of which taste amazing.

The beef kabob is absolutely unbelievable! I highly recommend stopping by to try it. The meats sold here are all local and fresh and you can really taste the difference. Also the market has a great selection and the employees are all incredibly friendly! Highly recommend!

There are many food you can find only there. A lot of Asian,Oriental,and from Middle East food. Fresh baked oriental bread. They have a bakery ! Very friendly staff . On Thursdays you can buy freshest halal meat. I am from Republica if Georgia and I found a lot of food that are the same or close to my cuisine !

Awesome store! Unbelievable selection of spices-- all incredibly priced. Chicken and meats are fresh and delicious. The owner is very kind and helpful. The staff is so sweet. Their homemade naan are as big as pizzas and taste incredible!!!

All kinds of good finds here. The place isnt much to look at but a Halal butcher, the fresh baked Nan is great and lots to look at. I will need to learn to cook using more of these ingredients.

Love shopping here. Everyone is super nice and very helpful. They care about their customers and pay great amount of attention to make sure they fulfill their requests. I requested them to bring few items from my country and they did ordered everything I wanted. Now my friends and family start going there. Owner is very nice and super friendly and always have smile in his face. I had bad experience from Mingala which was just a block away from me so I start coming here regularly because they are very welcoming and have good customer service. 👍🏻👍🏻

I dont go to any other store....there is no reason on for me. This store has the best meat and the price is reasonable.

This place is nice and I like to products but I asked were the bathroom and as bad they told me the back of the store it was as hidden behind not dark shelf’s as we walked up the nasty stairs into the bathroom, the floors were very dirty and there was dust and gross things everywhere. The is also barely any light when you are using the restroom and the appear towels were gone.However the poeoke are very nice but the place is not very clean

Bad meat quality and butcher lies a lot about the freshness of meat. Most of the meat is stored somewhere inside and out of the sight so you dont really know if youre getting goat or old rubbery sheep by the name of lamb. Mingala store nearby is far better and people are at least honest. Dont recommend going here until you know the butcher personally :-).

I really like this place a lot! Tons of spices, rices, fresh baked flat breads and other stuff I never see at other places like Fred Meyer and Trader Joes near by. Their meats are butchered on location and the quality is amazing. Totally worth the visit.

Fresh bread daily....and serving kebabs now too. Wish they would put the fresh bread in paper bags instead of plastic though...

Awesome market with everything you need including high quality meat, handmade pizza, gyros and of course all the proper groceries for a great meal. We love the staff, they are always super friendly and helpful. We visit on a regular basis. Thanks guys!

I had called to place goat order. Person who answered the phone was the meat cutter. Before i could finish talking he hanged upbthe phone. I went anyways to pick up meat. This meat cutter was sitting and drinking alcohol . I told him he,was being rude because all i was doing was completing my order. He rudely told me its not worth the money and time. I walked out without buying anything. FYI this is America and,women here are not treated this,way. Never again i am going there. I have found another store in Portland way couteous clean and,excellent customer service

Excellent place to get all your Indo-Pak needs, as well as Mediterranean groceries. They now make fresh chicken and beef kebabs too, to serve with the fresh bread they are known for.

Burned breads! They bake breads. I found several burned ones hidden in the pre-sealed bags! even animals can’t eat... I had to throw away.

Its a great place with friendly owners. I saw some negative comments and feel the necessity of telling everyone that this place was closed for three months due to a fire incident. Also after 8 they dont sell meat because they have washed and cleaned their machines/equipment to comply for sanitary regulations. People should understand this before posting negative comments

I used to love this place due to the availability of all the fishes that come from Indian Subcontinent. But a horrible experience with the butcher turned this around. I went there at 8:01 pm and the butcher refused to provide any service after 8pm. I stay quite a distance from this place and the entire time was wasted driving to this place and coming back. I feel the butcher could have accommodated us since we were the last customer. Would think twice before going to this place.

I just dont understand why are they so expensive, yes Im a Muslim and we all get halal meat yes, but that doesnt mean they rip us off just because its halal, man not even in Ramadan at least be Godly and do some discount for people, help those who cant afford to pay for the halal meat

Friendly staff who tell you which is fresh and what is not. Freshly backed naan if you visit before 5 or 6 ! I am not sure. Naan is good as well as meat and chicken. I tried lamb and beef and both were good.

Ive been to a lot of world/international markets in the Portland area, but none of them have what Bazaar have!You find things here that you dont find in any other markets.The thing that mostly makes me go there is rice. I was never able to find India Gate rice but here.
