They know their stuff and took the time to explain what theyre doing, how and why theyre doing it and didnt make me feel like a dummy for not knowing anything about sound systems.Theyre efficient, very honest and you CANNOT beat the price! I will not hesitate to use them again when needed.

I had an install done years ago and had him do everything but the speakers as I had them installed elsewhere a year or two prior. Fast forward 5 years and my amp blew in my head unit. Ken diagnosed the problem finding out one of my speakers was literally falling out of its bracket and shorted the amp (again, only thing he didnt install). I was given many options on how to fix or replace my set up and Ken got me back up and running in no time. Awesome to deal with back then and awesome to deal with this time. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I got a license plate back up camera installed. Works perfectly, the owner installed it, and drove me home and picked me up while he worked on it. Hes awesome, it didnt cost an arm and a leg, and I got great results. If you are on the fence, let this be the review to push you over the edge. 5/5 stars. Would book him again.

I am extremely happy with the service Ken provided. I took my 14 Kia to replace the stock head unit for something that supports CarPlay and Android Auto and he he provided honest information, recommendations updates and feedback every step of the way. Pricing for hardware and workhour quotes were fair and honest. But more than that, the man knows his stuff; just talking with him, I got the sense that Ken endeavors to educate himself on products, processes and all of that reflects the passion he has for what he does. If I could give 10 Stars I would. I highly recommend! Ken has platinum star costumer service and his quality level of work supercedes ALL OTHERS!(esp. car toys) The time was about 2230 and I was headed out to make sure the hungry people got their food with GrubHub when the power fuse blew to my amp leaving my stereo system bland and powerless. Even though it was pretty late for a store to be open. Ken went above and beyond and was able to hook me up with a couple fuses to help me carry on the rest of my night making sure those people get fed. If youre still thinking about where to go dont this is it!

Had problem with 12 year old back-up camera that original installer couldn’t resolve. Assuming would probably have to replace unit, found Sounds Unique on internet; made app’t for assessment and Ken able to identify software problem, resolve it without having to replace anything. Can I give like 10 stars!? I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. I tried to install my own radio (one that I bought off Amazon) and had gotten stuck on the wiring. Kenny was more than happy to see me on short notice on a Thursday evening. He got the work done without any hitch with noticeable skill and perfection. He even took the time to show me how to use the new radio, although it was bought online. He was nice and pleasant - and his dig Ruby is super cute! Was shopping around for a replacement stereo for my near 20 year old truck. Checked out Sounds Unique because of the excellent reviews and Im glad that I did. Ken did an excellent job helping me narrow down the choices, ordering the Pioneer unit, and then installing it. Its a bit of a different experience since he basically runs it out of his back garage. Which means that you dont just drop in, you need to call, text or email first. But I imagine it keeps his overhead low and allows him to offer great prices and personalized service. He offers lifetime customer service and even drove me home after I dropped off my truck and then picked me up after the install was finished. Ive had quite a few car stereos put into my vehicles over the past 40+ years and this was by far the easiest and most enjoyable. I cant recommend Kens service highly enough.

I went to Ken after experiencing connectivity issues with my subwoofer and my iPhone 📱. He spent about an hour downloading & uploading a firmware update and then refreshed by Bluetooth settings and my system came back to life. I couldn’t have been happier 😊. When I asked how much I owed, he said no charge and only asked that I pass the word about my experience with his service. I was dumbfounded. As someone who does a lot of research on things like this, rarely am I pleasantly surprised by a business/service, but when I got my car back from Ken I was very much so. VERY VERY (did I say VERY) clean install by someone who knows what hes doing. He even followed up with me to make sure things were functioning as they should. Ken did a seamless Bluetooth install on my 2005 Avalon, and even made a few adjustments to an earlier hamfisted dash reassembly executed by a Toyota techie on the coast who was too busy to do it right (much appreciated). Everything went the way Ken said it would. He took plenty of time to show me the ropes and answer questions. I drove a couple hundred miles and devoted a chunk of my Saturday in order to have the work done by Sounds Unique, and it was absolutely worth it!

My first Experience with Ken was about 6 years ago with a satellite radio install in our vehicle. He was very professional and his attention to detail was very apparent.This first outstanding experience led me to him again for a home theater install. Once again his attention to detail and complete focus on what I wanted was far above and beyond what I ever could have expected. I am a former customer of CarToys and the result was poor wiring which led to all kinds of problems on my 04 Duramax. I didnt even go back to Car Toys for fear of more damage being done. I decided to go on a quest for the perfect solution. A small business owner who loved what he did. Ken at Sounds Unique absolutely loves what he does. He is not an hourly wage teen on a summer job out of a big box store. What is the downside of a small operation? You need to be flexible. What is the upside? You are getting 110% talent put into your project and the small business owner is excited to have you as a customer. You gain 2 aspects. A really nice job on your audio system and the satisfaction that you had a part in enabling a small business man fulfill his dream. Owner Ken is the real deal. We exchanged emails about upgrading my Camry stock radio speakers and adding a sub-woofer. When he saw the size of my Hybrid trunk, he talked me out of purchasing the sub (imagine that... he wanted me to spend LESS money!). He encouraged me to try the new JBL 6x9 speakers in the rear deck and front doors. I could add a sub later, if I still wanted one. He was totally correct. The JBLs provide plenty of base. I am totally satisfied with the whole experience.

Ken at Sounds Unique, Inc. is just the type of craftsmen you want at the helm of your project.I had originally purchased a speaker set and sub from Crutchfield to try and install myself. I got overwhelmed quickly by the complexity of the project and sought out Ken to help me make things right. After a quick and very thorough consultation, we determined that Crutchfields advisors had not properly advised me on my system, leaving me with speakers that wont fit and a sub that was underpowered.Needless to say, I returned all the speakers to Crutchfield, and for a comparable price, was able to hook me up with a sound system that fits, sounds good, and takes advantage of my head unit. His wiring job was also so clean and consciously planned that he even managed to fit the sub fuse within the housing of my cars main fuse box! Looks clean, sounds great.This is what makes Ken a craftsman. What makes him AWESOME, is that he was also able to help me finish debadging the car, buffed my mistakes off, and wired up some side indicator lights! For any and all of my future projects, I will definitely be going to Ken again. Thanks again!

I apologize in advance, i have so much i want to say.... so let me put everyone in my shoes before i explain why ken at sounds unique IS THE ONLY PERSON YOU SHOULD DO BUSINESS WITH!!-Before Ken: I bought a TON of top of the line viper equipment because i wanted to get my car security on point! I wont drag everyone through all the letdowns and disappointments i ran up against when asking the shops to install my pre-purchased remote start on my Manual Transmission 2007 VW Jetta, but just know ALL the shops i visited in person denied my business and said they couldnt help me. After like 6 or 7 shops I really began to think i wasnt going to have my car done up the way i imagined....-Meeting Ken: After all the failures I contacted Viper to see who could actually install my entire setup, and i was referred to what i believe is Oregons only Viper PREFERRED DEALER, Ken at Sounds Unique. Since i live in lane county, i had to drive a bit to meet up with Ken, but IT WAS SO WORTH IT. He looked at my equipment, let me know what would and wouldnt be possible to install, and was even able to weed out other unnecessary items that i didnt need and SAVED ME MONEY. He walked me through what he envisioned in his mind so as the customer i was not just left in the dark.... i was prepped knowing what it would take to accomplish my project, and to me that is SO SO IMPORTANT! We made our appointment and a few weeks later i had my project and than some complete, AND IN THE MOST ABSOLUTE PROFESSIONAL OF WAYS!! SO CLEAN!!From the beginning to the end of the install, Ken kept in touch with me about what was going on with my car, he got things for my vehicle that i needed, HE COMPLETED EVERYTHING I WANTED THAT OTHER SHOPS COULD NOT DO AND MORE, he taught me things when other shops stay busy trying to sell you things.... he took the time to talk, to relate, to help me understand...You dont get the kind of friendly, top notch service anywhere! And i cant stress enough that he completed my project that all the other shops WOULDNT DO! He is a preferred dealer no doubt, and he came through for me!
