The employees arent the most professional, starting with them struggling to use their own terminal system while asking if I had received the paperwork via email in advance only to admit it usually doesnt work. Im then asked to sit at the machines (without specifying which one first) only to realize after sitting down that they hadnt sanitized *anything*. Rather than have me move back to the waiting area, the employee proceeded to wipe the machines down without distancing while I sat right there watching the not so great mask fit in close view. Exam was uneventful until leaving the exam room where they had someone ready upselling started immediately the moment I crossed the doorframe. The salesperson wasnt that keen when I made it clear I was not interested in purchasing from them. Uncomfortable and had me leaving quite irritated and anxious.Communication afterward for contacts was terrible, as they put my number in wrong and never followed up on the email given to them (and works perfect in their marketing database). Otherwise just a huge hassle that shouldnt have been and more stressful than it needed to be.Needless to say, I wont be back to give another vertically integrated insurer owned company a dime.

Agreed to have two pair of lenses replaced with new Rx. Used them because they claimed to be able to do my Oakley sunglasses. They originally messed up the order & had no QA to check - I found the mistake. Got lies & excuses why the Oakleys weren’t done. After almost a month they said they couldn’t do them. Ended up paying 2.5x (even with insurance) for the other pair. A classic bait & switch selling. Stay away - they lie & steal

First time I came the manager and service were excellent. When I tried to get the glasses I ordered fixed because they were cutting my nose and a piece fell off making them lopsided. The girl at the front desk would only offer me to buy new frames. At that point I had the glasses for only 10 weeks. I tried calling the store and the main vision works telephone number. Left 4 messages and never heard back from anyone. Please avoid this place as their “90 day guarantee” is a lie and so far it has been extremely unprofessional.

I had a great experience coming in for an eye exam today. The lady at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable. She was new but did a great job, I think her name was Tiff. Jess was also very nice and helpful. The store was clean and it felt safe.

I got glasses here and the first experience with the manager was great. When I got my glasses they weren’t so great. The nose piece started cutting into my nose and a plastic spacer on one of the hinges fell out and made the glasses wonky. When I tried to contact them 4 times and left messages (both at this store and for the company I got ZERO responses. When I went in when they were reopened from covid they said I would have to buy new frames. Seriously! So much for the 90 day guarantee. I got maybe a months of use from my glasses and just have been wearing my old glasses. Avoid this place if at all possible.Update: they contacted me to send more information but have heard nothing since the initial message about 3 weeks ago.

There’re more variety of glasses frames you can pick in this place than any other places in Beaverton/Hillsboro. Staff are nice and professional too.I would definitely come back again.

I needed my glasses adjusted and it was after hours on Friday at the VA where I would normally go, so I decided to bite the bullet and pay to have someone else fix them so I wasnt uncomfortable all weekend. The friendly staff greeted me as soon as I walked in and directed me where to wait. After only a minute or so of waiting for my turn to be helped I was kindly and efficient taken care of and sent on my merry way. The best part: my minor adjustment was free of charge! Would definitely recommend to others!

Emily is the best!Excellent customer service, friendly staff.We are very satisfied with the service we received here. Two of my family members had their prescription glasses made here this year and the year before. Emily especially worked with us really well, helped us with quick ordering, to figure out our options with insurance coverage, and helped us best possible frames we could get with our coverage.There is a optometry within the same office and it is convenient to schedule everything together. Emily also helped us make our appointments.

We have been coming here since my little boy was 3year old. A year and half later we moved to Seattle and were forced to go to a local store. We have noticed the service we were gating and the quality of work was not close to vision works in cedar hills crossings. Now when ever we need a new glass for my son, we drive all the way to Portland from Seattle and get the perfect glasses for my son. We have a great experience with all the staff and we love it.

Our family has visited this location for the last 5 years and we have always received excellent customer service!! Emily took care of us efficiently and with attention to detail, during a time we needed an emergency pair of glasses 2 days before Our Son left for out of town. I loved my experience at this visionworks location! I have been wearing glasses for 15 years and have never been completely satisfied with a pair of glasses Ive bought. This time Ive been to Visionworks in Cedar Hills crossing, and went in wanting to fall in love with the glasses before buying anything. Emily helped me and she was amazing! She asked me some questions about my preferences and then let me wander and try on some glasses on my own as she gathered a several glasses she thought I might like. With each pair I tried on she was able to tell if it was sitting right on my nose and explain how they did (or did not) compliment my face. The last pair I tried on were the ones I fell in love with! I am so glad I had such great help and advice to help me find the glasses that looked and felt great!

I did recently made a purchase . Unhappy on the customer service. All was done in a hurry . Store ppl talking between them unhandled, with out customer support. Old lady with glasses in the store talking very loud around always in side the store like being at her home making people around uncomfortable (pls its the not answer to ur customer ) who is assisted by another store person ) Unhappy

Just got my new glasses from Visionworks in the Cedar Crossing Mall and love them. Kelly and her team are crazy good. The store has a massive selection but somehow Kelly knows it like the back of her hand and selected the perfect frames in a matter of seconds! The entire process is painless as she knows the ins and outs of insurance and I know I am always getting the best deal available. The best part is that the glasses were ready to pickup in only four days - in time to wear them on a trip I am taking this week! I am looking forward to spending my end of year FSA dollars here on another pair of glasses - maybe this time sunglasses!

My kids love the kind staff here. They really take their time and make sure everything fits just right. My youngest son has come in needing repairs and they were super nice and fast to fix his glasses. The staff treat you like family and they really go out of their way to treat customers right!

I love the convenience of being right inside FM for quick fixes and adjustments.My exam a year ago was first rate and professional.The glasses, especially the progressives were the best pair I’ve had in ten years from various retailers.I broke my readers a few weeks ago and went in for a replacement pair but the frames had been discontinued. YOU GUYS! Kelly and her team are unbelievable👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 they have a HUGE selection of glasses compared to two stores I went to and their prices are so good. I had been in early in the morning after while waiting for glasses and George made sure I was being taken care of even though I was just browsing; like giving me one of those “maybe tray” I forgot what he called it but like him it was funny. Then after my exam I came back but even though the store was full; Kelly acknowledged my presence as she multitasked. However I had errands to do. Driving around I made a few stops at other places: WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. Most glasses I was interested at other places were from $300-$526. While at VISION WORKS they were $129-$267 like how can you even compare?!?!? So for the third time I come back around 6:30 and that’s the perfect time. Kelly automatically recognized me and I felt so welcomed! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she honestly found it in less than a minute. Seriously like someone else said “she knows the store like the back of her hand”. Buying glasses is a COMMITMENT and Kelly is honest and she’ll tell you if those frames aren’t for you ☝️ we came into some issues with my insurance but she was quick on resolving it for me. I was here recently and purchased a pair of glasses. I have to say the attention of the staff was amazing and they ensured I was not only comfortable in my new glasses but also that I was happy with what I was purchasing, with no pressure to add on things that I didnt need.They asked me what I would be using the glasses for and was able to give me a wealth of information on the various products offered and what all of the different anti-reflective coatings did.I picked up my glasses today and I have to say that they are comfortable, they look great and the price was perfect. I will definitely go back to this store.

Due to a change in insurance coverage I needed to find a new provider, so with the business names provided I started reading reviews. Over and over again I kept seeing the name “Kelly” mentioned at this Visionworks and I was hoping it was the Kelly I had worked with for the past 20 years at a previous eye provider (she had changed jobs). Sure enough it was and I couldn’t be happier - she knows frames and has such a talent for finding the right frame for your face shape. I found all the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable and this is definitely my new go to place for glasses! CU

Love this office! Dr. Prassad is fantastic! Shes a total pro, and Ive never had so much fun during an eye exam. The manager, Kelly, is equally awesome. Shes helped me select my frames for nearly 20 years and Ive followed her from office to office to continue that great service. Shes a genius at selecting frames that make you look great and knows the many insurance plans well. Kelly has trained a great staff to give that same level of service. I recommend this office to everyone!

Just stopped in to check out what they had in stock, and was promptly greeted. I had forgotten my prescription at home, so a quick walk to the back to get it printed; while I was doing that, Kelly, pulled several pairs of glasses that she thought would look great on me. Boy am I glad she did that, just looking at the walls and walls of option, I was pretty sure we were going to be there for a few hours. But nope, with Kelly’s keen eye, I was able to pick a pair of glasses that I really Love, and was out the door, all under 30mins!!! Would I come again? Definitely!! - You Should Too!!

EDIT: Kelly from Visionworks saw this review and called me to talk about what she could do to make things right. Kelly asked me to come back and then did everything in her power to make sure I was happy with the frames and lenses. It seems like the problems I had were the exception and out of the normal. I couldn’t be happier with her patience, kindness and willingness to make sure I was happy and to fix the problems that I had. Thank you!!!The staff is great to work with however my glasses aren’t awesome. I have a difficult prescription where one eye can appear larger than the other if not with the correct thin lenses. I was assured I was getting thin lenses to help with that, I don’t feel that I received thin lenses to correct that. The frames that I got had a decal on the arm that fell off and was lost within about 8 months of buying them leaving a gap on the arm. I had my last pair of frames for over 6 year with zero problems. I also had the anti-glare put on the lenses which put a green tint onto the lenses. I have noticed in pictures that instead of a shiny glare of my lenses there is a green glare on them (pictures included in this review). I did not have this problem with past anti-glare that was put on lenses. I had instant buyers remorse with these frames and lenses. I have since gone elsewhere for glasses with no green glare, thinner lenses and better quality frames.

Everyone was very helpful and you were greeted immediately. I was impressed with the fact that two staff members managed the flow of customers. There was a large selection of glasses, which provided many options based on your tastes! Kelly made the process efficient. I’d recommend this store to others.

Great experience here. Came in with some Ray-bans that had a missing screw, George got me a screw to fix the issue and fix my sunglasses. Great customer service and will definitely be coming back here for my new frames and sunglasses moving forward.

This was my first time shopping here, the eye exam was great, and the staff at vision works were very helpful in the selection of my frames and all of the bells and whistles I wanted to be added. My glasses were supposed to take a week and to my surprise were ready in 3 days. Scott and Sydney were awesome, I had to come in for a couple of adjustments and they were so willing to help and make it right. Overall a very wonderful experience I will be back again

Get start from the receptionists, the 2 ladies were friendly and didn’t take long to see the doctor at all. Dr. Sharon Wong is very nice and take times checking my eyes. Then Dr.Wong walked me to Vision Works to get the glasses which thanks to Kelly who is super genuine super nice also George and the new lady. Definitely nice professional place 5 stars services for your eyes!!

I highly recommend this location. They are always helpful & willing to spend time helping adjust my glasses even though they were purchased at a different eye doctors office. Kelly even came to the parking lot to adjust my Mothers glasses when she was not able to go into the store. You might have to wait a few minutes while they help someone else but you will find that the staff & service are worth the wait.

A very difficult customer has a fantastic experience at Visionworks.I had lots of problems and Visionworks solve them all. The first thing I came in with my prescription from a different optometrist and Visionworks made me glasses. I had trouble picking out the frames. Visionworks were very helpful setting up a series of choices that made it much easier for me. I got my glases and they gave me headaches and I could not read some things very well at distance I knew something was wrong.I went back to the store and said I was really not feeling well with my glasses what can we do. Within minutes they had me testing with different prescriptions to see if reducing the power of the current prescription would help. Then I decided to get a new eye exam with a Visionworks optometrist they got me and quickly and I had a new prescription. I was worried that the new prescription may not be perfect so I asked is there any way I can try a test pair. That same day they had a test pair made up for me that I could test. I tested them for a month I was so happy does take a couple days to get used to a new prescription so this was fantastic after about a month I knew for sure this is working for me so then we made the final glasses. All this extra help cost me nothing. I called them many times and came in to visit every time they never seemed frustrated and were always extremely helpful.

I had to get a new prescription from the current pair I had from Vision Works due to discomfort. Kelly (Manager) wasn’t in at the time and Emily the assistant manager assessed and evaluated my situation as I explained. I came in to pick the frame and have the lenses prescription finalized. Kelly was friendly, kind and understanding of my situation. She went out of her way to make sure all my needs were met. My new pair arrived shortly and I was notified. George was in at the time, so he helped me fit my frames and adjusted them to comfort. Emily, Kelly and George went out of their way to show me the upmost care in my process with Vision Works at this location. It’s some of the best customer service I’ve gotten in a while, and will be back for any other needs related to glasses. Thank You.

Im honestly so impressed with the staff here! I was originally coming in because of the great ratings and they were running an awesome buy one get one free sale, which was amazing because Im paying out of pocket. The optometrist Dr. Diana Olma was the nicest and most thorough eye doctor Ive ever met. Then Kari helped me pick out my glasses and helped me get the ones I wanted. She was also the nicest lady! I felt so welcome and taken care of, which is such a nice change from the last place I got glasses (*cough cough* Americas Best 👎) I cant wait to get my new glasses and I definitely wont be shopping anywhere else from now on!Many thanks to the Cedar Hills Vissionworks staff!

I was having lenses changed out at the Lloyd Center location, and the girl doing it badly chipped the top of the frame. So I had no regular nearsighted glasses, or reading glasses. One of the employees gave me a frame, but told me that it would be 10 days until the new glasses would be ready. This wouldnt work, so I called the Beaverton store and spoke with manager Kelly Butama. She is fantastic!! I went out to the Beaverton store and she found frames that exactly fit both pairs lenses. She did not charge me anything. Will I be back? You betcha. And I am telling everyone how well I was treated and referring them to the Beaverton store. Thank you!!!!

I had to go in for a eyeglass appointment. They were helpful and directed me next door. Once I was done, and had a frame picked out, they battled with my nonlocal insurance while I filled out the rest of the paperwork. The frame and a polycarbonate lens was completely free.Today I went in with my old pair of glasses on to pick up my new pair. They were on their last leg but the guy was a goodsport and insisted on taking a look at it. Lost cause but they had that exact frame in stock so he retrieved it and popped the lenses in.Overall, was a great experience. Five stars, they are great people. Ill come back for contacts with them next year.

I have had my glasses repaired here three times, and only because it is the closest. whenever I walk in, there is only one person working and theyre usually with someone. the first couple times it took me anywhere from half an hour to an hour just to get a simple repair started. that is just to talk to an associate. There is no amount of effort that I see here, compared to their locations downtown and Washington Square which I have previously been to.

Sales associate was Scott during my visit, but since I was alone in the store the entire crew helped me! My insurance only covers an eye exam, but they worked with me to order two pairs of glasses, select thin lenses (with my vision lenses tend to get pretty thick), and recommended a one year warranty that all fit into my budget. In fairness I did have a cushion to spend a little more, but they were careful to figure out what I was able to do before throwing things out there. I appreciated the attentiveness and fun camaraderie of the employees, but I know some folks would rather solo shop. If thats more your speed just make sure to say something, these folks are super friendly and happy to help on whatever level youre comfortable with. Doctor Olma and assistants were also very helpful and welcoming. Doc was professional and I love that she explained what was happening, especially giving a heads up if she was going to touch my face (i.e. going to touch your upper eyelid now) 20/20 would recommend
