I had a great time here! The employees are extremely nice and helpful. Also, their prices are better than anything on eBay for all of the coins, and the silver bar that I bought. I wanted to leave a small tip, as I like to do at any establishments where I have a great time. They explained to me that there’s no need for that and that they’re a family owned business. I really appreciate that, not only the savings on my purchase but also the wholesomeness of the whole operation. They understand that a lot of us are trying to invest in these things as a hedge against inflation, and they don’t want to feel obligated to pay any more than the price. Loved the experience, the service and the prices! Definitely going to be my go to coin and precious metals shop, five stars!

Bought. Told to expect 6-9 weeks before delivery. 6 weeks passed. Called. Told it had been there for 3 weeks. We have 2 area codes here, one ending in #3 and one ending in #1. Clerk could not guess area code. Said he tried. Can I forgive? Yes. Do I trust? No.

I stopped by here since there are only a few coin dealers in the area. I have not sold any coins to this company, so cannot comment on that, however I have stopped by to purchase items and will comment on that.One of the best things I can say about this place is it is bigger than the rest I have visited in the area and they seem to have a large variety of coins. This would be the reason for the 3 stars, lots and lots of space and coins.But..The main thing that one comes away from this store is the complete lack of customer service. Every time I have walked into this business, I have not once had someone say hi or ask if they can help me with anything. I have to walk around looking for myself. I once tried to ask some questions but got ignored. The only time I get to interact with someone is when i have been waiting by the cash register for a few minutes to purchase the few coins I decided to get.I am not a competitor but a simple person who has gotten back into coin collecting and trying to fill in my collection. I would spend more at this place if the business people would come to help me vice sitting in their chairs talking about playing games.Others in the area may not have the big collection they appear to have but I spend more cause the customer service and the helpfulness of the people working at those dealers.

Went to the highly rated Harrys and was offered $11.00 for my coin they said take it down the street then so I did and got more money. Glad i didnt stick with Harrys I will no longer be going back there.

I love shopping here. Just a nice, clean atmosphere with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ive bought from and sold to them numerous times. Each time, they were up front about their pricing and honest about the value of what I had brought in.

I regret Doing business with these people. Wish I had kept my collection. Didn’t have to sell just trying to get rid of things I didn’t need. They offered me spot on all my silver dollars, and other silver coins. Had a bunch of 1771-1865 Dutch and English coins too. When I pointed out the 1884 CC dollar they upped their offer for that coin but told me everything else was common junk coins. Later found out many of my coins were quit valuable. Went in a week later and saw the CC for over double what they gave me and some other coins I had highly inflated prices. Not bad for “junk”. They scoff, and tell you a coin never hardly touched was cleaned and worth nothing but spot. Radio adds are paid to say what they want you to hear.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE: went there to trade gold for silver and fractional gold; they had a Sigma Metalytics analyzer just like mine, but they didnt know I have one; they tried to pass CLEARLY COUNTERFEIT Perth mint bars - the security packaging was peeling and the edge seals were amateurish; I EVEN PULLED UP AN INTERNET PHOTO OF THE EXACT PACKAGING UNDER FAKE PERTH MINT BARS; the lying bastard said they couldnt be checked by the analyzer because of the packaging - I know the 5mm probe works just fine through security seals; when D-bag was distracted, I used their own machine to test them as fakes; when he saw me he panicked; BOTTOM LINE: The willful passing of counterfeits is a crime. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE;UPDATE: Beware when all the reviews are either 5s on one hand, or 1s and 0s on the other; they bring in their schmucks to log fake 5-star reviews to pad all the 0s and 1s to keep people from learning what is really happening. Seriously Shirley Madsen your review says you didnt do business with them. I am balancing the system by giving them a 5 for your 1. I am a small business owner and I cant stand the terrible way these stupid reviews are used in such a trivial fashion. It destroys the integrity of the idea. I wanted to see what others said before I went in with some of my own coins. What makes me more concerned is the cynical side of me wondering if it just an alias of a competitor. Stop it

I will not be recommending this place to anyone. The only thing I would consider them for is selling bullion only at 0.25 over spot price. I say this because I came in to get an estimate of my collection, most of which includes collectors coins which maintain a seperate value from bullion. I browsed the web for fair prices from larger dealers and independent offers and came up with comparison prices for the coins I was willing to sell. The assistant scoffed at the prices I had and after some close inspection said they would offer me spot price only for anything I had. Basically totally disregarding any significant collectors value of the coins. What kind of dealer tries to buy PCGS MS70 First Strike Silver eagles for spot price only? Just bad service and kind of rude frankly. Ill take my business elsewhere in the future.

Brought a coin to these clowns, was told it was fake, sold it to Harrys 40 min later for $1100. Kid behind counter had NO CLUE. PS Harrys gave me more than I was expecting.

Looks like the baseball card and coin shops of my childhood. Huge selection of rare and mint coins of all price ranges. Sold them silver and was happy with transaction. Will be back.

I was brutally harrased by a obviously low level new staff member. I heard this add on a christian station saying they were nice. I dont know how they stay in business. Ive never had a problem at the vancouver store. But on canyon that place is a nightmare. I asked the young man to speak to the manager. He said no. Im manager right now. Leave the store so i could finish my lunch

I went to the vancouver store with diamonds, they didnt evaluate anything . They offered me the lowest bottom dollar for them and when i brought recovered and refined gold they tried to cheat me into selling for 18k when i knew it was 22k. I sold my gold to portland gold buyers for hundreds of dollars more than what these idiots offered.

Avoid these guys at all costs! I brought in some 70 graded Silver Eagles to appraise and sell. I did my research on recent Ebay sales and Greysheet values... they undercut Ebay sales on the same coins by 60%, and Greysheet by 40%. They also offer about $1 per ozt less that other local shops on bullion coins.

IMHO what a rip off company. Called Vancouver asked for information. Went into the store and got treated like I was stupid and the information gathered from the owner was false. The use the Grey sheets which is fine but they cheat you by low balling your grade. I had numerous coins which had been graded independantly as uncirculated they called good and we were offered pennies on the dollar. When challenged they kept saying that even though they were in plastic cases and labeled as uncirculatedthey were not Proof sets.I was told that the quotes would be the same at either store but there was a 60% difference. Told that wheat Pennies were worth 1.8 cents each because they sell for 5 cents. Not true there is a display of pre- sorted ( valuable ones sorted out) Wheat pennies labled at 10 cents each. Went to a little Mom and Pop coin store and got nearly double the highest Bid from Liberty.IMHO put your hands deep in your pockets and try someone else.

I listened to Lars Larsen on FOX News and also on the local radio station give rave reviews about Liberty Coin. I always thought I would go to them when the time is right for help with my small collection. After reading the reviews, too many negative ones, I will rethink this move on my part. Im really sorry to hear about the not-so-nice experiences from several customers. Not a good thing when dealing with money and/or customers.
