Good pan dulce
Only downfall is enterance without breaking the law crossing double lane unless you all the way around to other side to make a legal enterance..friendly staff and clean environment
Love this little place. Great selection and very reasonable prices so glad I discovered this location. My family and myself love the bakery section, havent tried their prepared food that others have spoke about but definitely going to give it a go. I also want to mention for me besides the prices and selection, customer service is extremely important. This place delivers on all of that and they deserve recognition for it. Thank you for being in business!!
Worst place ever. All the food Is dry. It was my first time trying this place it its the last time trying it. People who knows how real Mexican food is, they should know what real fresh food tastes like. Im a chef I have my own business so I know what real food is.
This place is great! Not only is it a market with some great produce and selection of meat, but they make some great burritos as well. The salsa was amazing also. All of the staff was friendly and polite, definitely a place worth checking out.
As others have mentioned, really great meat counter. Baked goods also outstanding (bread roll baked with meat, cheese, and pickled peppers are particularly on point)! Love this place.
Love this place! They seem to source their dried chile peppers themselves. (Not the standard company/packaging found in most other stores) As a result Salsa Market has some of the better selection of dried chile peppers in Beaverton. Ive made some wonderful Pozole and chili with the ingredients from here!
They will cook your meat for you! My coworkers and I love to pitch in and get a bunch of stuff from the deli for make your own tacos. Guacamole is super delicious as well!
I moved here 10 months ago. Been searching for the equivalent of my favorite burrito joint in Eugene. This has surpassed my expectations and is amazing! For $4.50 you get a burrito that could feed two people, maybe three! And it was absolutely the best burrito I have ever had! Im hooked! And the service was fantastic!
The torta is amazing and the panaderia is pretty good also. I will need to learn Spanish though as it was kind of difficult ordering and paying for my stuff. I think they are used to regulars so the lack of explanation was very confusing. As in I asked what was on the torta and he told me....but he was only about 50% accurate. And after he wrote down our order, he just walked off. No explanation on where to pay, where to get our food or anything. After awhile a lady came out with the food but he hadnt written down a name so there was just confused mumbling of what the order contained. I then tried to ask one of the cashiers if I paid for my hot food with my other stuff but that just confused everyone since she didnt seem to speak any English so she got a scared look and pointed to someone else for me to ask. They were really nice and the food is so good that I am serious when I say I am thinking about learning Spanish just to make going here easier for everyone involved.
Great selection of spices and all the fixings that youre going to need for some good tacos if you like authentic
Really good chicharrones!!!
Great store full of many excellent groceries from Mexico that you wont find elsewhere. They also have pretty delicious tacos!
Love this store. Always fresh food and produce. Great prices.
Good food at the meat counter in the back, especially their fresh made tortillas and fajita mix.
Best place for on the go tamales, also they have a little meat deli and a Mexican restaurant to die for. Real Al pastor
Good prices, services and merchandise. Good parking.
Mexican market for ingredients, tamales, meat, Chiles, etc. Nice people, cool place
Went in once for achiote paste to make cochinita pibil. They had it ! Im from the east coast and grew up on Puerto Rican foodThis place has a bunch of Goya products including gondules . Clean and friendly . Next time I need something Ill he going here.
Love their sweet bread!! Its the best in town!!
Great place to go eat and pick up something to munch on
Love this place, and I love practicing Spanish skills there. To whomever said they wished they spoke English better?Es Salsa Mercado, no Ingles Mercado, ellos deberΓan hablar espaΓ±ol.
I give 5 star you give free salsa
Very good food good prices super duper friendly
It is a bit cramped but the food is good and most of the employees speak english and spanish altho their english could use improvement for sale sake.
Quick service however most of the time their rice is dry.
Customer service is great, nice area people are very helpful. However they could have a lot more merchandise.
Great service and those tamales are amazing and a bargain.
Quality people quality products and alot of selection. Great local market in the heart of beaverton!
Great prices on produce, friendly staff, decent selection for their size
This is the best Mexican food in Portland. Their carne asada is on point. π
This is a great Mexican food store, with a great meat section in the back, and they have excellent take out food including tamales, burritos and carnitas which are prepared there. Another nice thing, even if you dont speak Spanish the employees are very friendly. A tip, get some chips, fresh quacamole, and mexican Coke (is not made with corn syrup).
A lot of fresh tasty food!
I just love the carne asada its just perfect
It was nice had everything I was looking for
Good
Salsa Market is the nastiest place Ive ever been on their bread they have flies flying around I remember ordering a burrito the rice and there was two three days old the beans were to 3 days old place is absolutely disgusting nothing is cooked fresh it made our stomach hurt me and my brother never went back I couldnt believe what I was hearing place is absolutely disgusting do not go there stay away from these people do not know how to cook food at all you might catch food poisoning I would not take a risk on their food
Nice little market great prices
I wish I could rate this place higher, but since I stood there for 5 minutes and was flat out ignored, I left.
Best masa in town
Like stepping into a Mercado in Mexico. very authentic.
The food is great, so is the service
Small place but with variety of Latin American groceries
Great service
Great choices for peppers
It is a market bien.
Good little Mexican market
Not friendly AT ALL!!
Love the tamales
Nice place
Love the meats
Authentic as it gets.
Nice
La cajera no es nada amable y es grosera necesita amabilidad y respetar
The bread is very good and they are very attentive
The worst experience for the second time. Some weeks ago I bought some refried beans and they tasted burnt, this time I bought some rice and its cold and raw. They should feel embarassed to sell poorly made food.I bought rice and it was raw and cold and a few weeks ago I bought fried beans and they were burnt you shouldnt see undercooked food.I called them and no one answered the phoneI will definitely never return to this place
YESTERDAY I BUY CHEESE OAXACA FROM THE QUR IT LOOKS MORE WHITE IT LOOKS VERY RICH AND EVERYTHING BUT WHEN I TRY IT AND I GET A QUESADILLA, IT DOESNT KNOW WHAT IT HAS A VERY RARE FLAVOR, BUT IT DOESNT KNOW, CALL THE STORE AND THE CASHER SAID I WAS GOING TO TALK WITH THE BUTCHER, AND HE TOLD ME I CANNOT GIVE HIM THE MONEY BACK, I THINK THAT THIS BAD I DIDNT ASK HIM BUT, HERE IS NOT LIKE IN MEXICO THAT THEY WILL NOT RETURN YOU ANYTHING IF THE PRODUCT IS NOT IN GOOD CONDITION. GO BACK AND ASK FOR THE MONEY, I DID NOT ASK FOR IT AND I DONT WANT IT BUT THAT IS MY OPINION.
Very friendly, the cashier is a place where you can find any Mexican product you are looking for and many more highly recommended.
The attention of the person who charges the butcher well, I asked him for minced meat, he told me no because he was already going to wash, it was 6 in the afternoon
Chicharrones con carne!
Very stocked, good prices, spectacular attention
This is one of those places that take advantage of situations to inflate the prices of goods. For 2 days I went to buy meat to make a barbecue, and it costs $ 11.99 a pound of ranchera, in salsa market.I also went to the new Mexico market, in hillsboro, and there it costs $ 8.99, much better. It is not a pleasure that places like (salsa market) take advantage of people, right now they should help the community not screw it up :(.
The staff are very friendly
No no no no and I do not think Ill put so many no but my kompa just does not
Its all in sight and they sell good food and freshly preparedThe service is fast and friendly staff
Good store and mexican food
