No selection, overpriced, and attitude from the owner. Nobody wearing masks and the Friends and Family discount he offered was an inside joke cancelled out by shenanigans on the receipt. When the totals on the receipt don’t add up properly, it’s more than a joke it’s fraud. I just needed a couple air filters without the bull. Save yourself the frustration and go ANYwhere else.Update: one of the filters smells like paint thinner. While checking the other I noticed they are only about 1/2” thick but the flange hides it. They’re cheap junk at a premium price. Had I not really needed a filter I would have left empty-handed. I now wish I had.

I called and confirmed a specific product was in stock in the store, and then drove out to find it is not actually in the store at all. Frustrating to say the least but it got worse:The guy at the front was wearing an Advanced Nutrients shirt and told me they only buy from Advanced Nutrients and Hawthorne (owned by Monsanto) regardless of the quality since they make more profit reselling them at a mark up. The employee agreed those salt nutrients they carry are essentially poisons and are bad companies to support. The most patient, informative, kind, and assisting people. Never have I felt like a sales person selling me an item. Always willing to discuss any issues you may have with your growing and come up with a solution, if one is possible. Great prices.

The dude here was cool. They dont sell any plants, just plant growing hardware, but he told me where to find some houseplants.

Customer service has been good and bad, but they do have a good supply of gardening products.

So Amazon could be cheaper on some things but it seems to reason you could probably ask them to price match. Ive stopped here a couple times, the first being when I moved to Portland in May got some bad service that seemed disinterested in the job. Returned twice now in the past month and nothing but GREAT service that was knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely a good to great great store in the area.

All I can say is that the people that work here are the best!!! I cant explain how much help they have been to me on my journey. When it comes to customer service, hands down the best!!! When I have a problem they point me in the correct direction for what I need to fix my problem!!!

I absolutely LOVE this place!Not only do they have everything I need at great prices, they also have something I lack- knowledge. I started growing indoors a little over a year ago and every time Ive had questions about this or that, they had answers. Correct ones too! The employees are always helpful and never pushy. If they dont have exactly what I was after, they have an alternative and usually, it works better than what I thought I needed to begin with.Last time I was there, I bought the usual nutrients I use and noticed that the air stones I use were HALF the price than I got them for somewhere else, so I bought them.They have me as a customer for life!

Went in just a few days ago simply looking for a new reflector, a dude whos name I cant seem to remember helped with all the questions I had. He was totally approachable and friendly, even took his time to help me out with some ideas on how to better ventilate my garden. While he was helping me load everything into the car, he handed me a sample bottle of some foliar feed. This guy had great customer service and Id recommend this location to anybody, they certainly seem to know what theyre talking about and are eager to help you out.

Came in for my first time to buy some bamboo sticks and their computer was temporarily down. The guy gave me some great growing advice for a first timer and gave me the sticks on the house because the system was down. I am now a customer for life! Thanks IHG!

Used to be a decent place to get hydroponic supplies and whatnot, however lately they have doubled or even tripled prices on everything. Same fert I used to buy for 12 dollars is now suddenly 38? I go do a different place now and its better selection and far more affordable.

Save your self the time and don’t go here .............. they charged my friend w/ nutrients he never left the store with. He did make an $18 purchase and was led to believe that they wanted to hold the other product for him to come and get it later they were pushing this product on him and then push the sale through after he left knowing that yes he did put his pen but for an $18 purchase been three months later they are saying they have no returns well we never touched it it never left your store. Therefore there’s never a return because there wasn’t a sale you must get commission and that’s how you go around ripping people off like this is unbelievable Your a joke ....... who runs a company in such a manner. ? Wow speechless

You all have absolutely no idea who Joan pearl is, Im sure the FBI would lover... This store is whats up!! Ive been going here for years, I could see myself being quite the old farmer and going here.... Maybe thats fools loyalty, although ive been to many grow stores and go right back here.

Worked with guys for years and can only say simply the best around on point! They even came out and helped my take my garden to the next level and now my outdoor is huge!!!!!

The guys here are major rip offs! Con artist! Google other growshops in area its worth the drive to make sure you dont get scammed ....their dirt has mites. ..the manager is a liar who gives discounts to his friends and overcharges others for same products. ....amazon is better priced! The employees get commission for selling certain products so they have an agenda to sell things that do no good for our industry! This store also sells dangerous pesticides (avid) that are illegal out of the back door in unlabeled vials..... do yourself a favor and dont go to this place your garden will be tarnished

I have been shopping with this store for 10 years. I started with no experience, now I have a flawless garden And I owe that most to the credit of the staff of indoor hydro. Over the last 10 years Ive experienced every problem possible in my garden. Im constantly calling the store asking questions - theyre always friendly and give me excellent advice. Ive shopped around, they have the cheapest prices in town hand down, and theyre always willing to price match and special order anything I need.They have the largest selection of any store Ive been to, and everytime I come in they treat me like a friend. Not only that but in the 10 years ive been shopping with them, I have never had to carry my dirt to my car.

Been coming here on an off for a few years. Ive came in an talked with the staff about many of there products, Im rushed through, or prices dont match what they are listed an when you say something its a argument about how they cant honor their own listed label price on the nutrient bottle. an cheapest prices in town is a complete joke. for instance you can go right across the street to bimart an buy same bottle of superthrive for 2 dollars cheaper. same for fred meyers same bottle. Ive decided to take my business else where, the sales people might be knowledgeable on somethings they carry but they are all about making their money off us, an if you come in while one of their friends are buying anything you will see the discount they get compared to your mark up price. but price gouging on my supplies to make my medication is outrageous.

Its a grow shop thats how they make there money if youre growin Herb/s and stuff then you are gonna be going to a shop like this and they dont care what your growing but have a good idea and most grows have money to throw around.
