A nice store where sometimes one can find pretty good and inexpensive things. For instance, closer to winter they start selling nice leather gloves, which are $8 these days (used to be $6 a few years ago). Also, some interesting food stuff like glass jars with marinated mushrooms or red peppers from Europe.Of course, one store may differ a bit from another.

Great place to buy cheap, novelty, candy. However the best reason to to Ocean is to buy your dried spices! Cheap, cheap, CHEAP!

So I needed large pots for my plants and soil I checked Amazon Walmart even true value, Ocean State Job lot had everything I needed for half the price I was going to pay at these other places keep up the good work Ocean State!!

Awful. Got charged 10 dollars for something I didnt buy, I call they wont fix it over the phone I kept getting hung up on. Theres always a line the people that work there are rude and clueless.

I loveeeee Ocean State Job lot(s) but the girls at the registers should probably find another line of work.. they are sooooo unpleasant at the Bedford location -- Just up at the registers...The gentleman employee working in the aisles was quite helpful😁

Been looking for a specific umbrella for a long time. Went to about 4 different locations. Called this location on the phone and they said they had one left they would put aside for us. Had to drive almost an hour to get to this location. We got there and asked for the umbrella and gave them my name. They told they told us we already picked it up when we didn’t. Before we got there, a customer came to an employee and asked for an umbrella. They said “Is your name Catherine?” The customer said yes and they gave it to them.That was OUR umbrella they put aside for us. The employees need to be trained better. They should be asking us for our names instead of saying “Is your name Catherine?” And now the specific umbrella we wanted is sold out everywhere in Massachusetts.

The layout of this store is sloppy and cluttered. It was difficult to find the items I went in for. However the sales peoole were easy to find and provided helpful and specific directions.

Ocean State Job Lots.may be my new favorite store. If you are old enough to remember Building 19. They do the same type of seals except the stores areclean, organized and they dont smell as the Old Building 19 did. There Crazy Deals for Insiders are near. If you buy them you get a gift card for a significant % or sometimes all of the purchase price. Check it out. Well worth the trip.

This store just makes my world happier! It has stuff you need, great rugs, and the nicest people. And they take Apple Pay -- well before many fancy, cutting-edge retailers. GO OSJL!

I’ve never shopped in a store which the staff are so friendly, warm, patient and helpful! I was greeted and asked several times when I was in the store. The cashier was great. It made me feel really good about the shopping experience. The price of the merchandise is a plus!

This is a great place for good deals on certain things. You cant be sure of what they will have at any particular time, but its worth it to check out their website or their print ads. I mostly get various yard supplies and other seasonal items here.

Well I found this new location and stopped in on my way to work. It was very slow in there so it was nice not having to wait in line. The only thing that was a little awkward was the two cashiers were talking while waiting on me in line.

Some things are hit or miss, bc it IS a job lot store. But you can get GREAT discounts on some pretty good quality stuff on most items. Just gotta use your eye on things. Staff I great and very helpful but often overworked do be patient with them.

Always a good place for a bargain. This particular store is in a plaza with stores I go to (grocery, card store, home furnishings, bargain clothing). So thats a super plus for convenience.

This is one of the smaller job lots but the prices are very phenomenal and the product quality is high. 4 stars instead of 5 though because sometimes the wrong signs can be up a bit too often.

The wait for entree was longer than necessary...shrimp & chicken gumbo recipe should be revised to be a better, real gumbo. There were 2 orders at our table, both were not enjoyed by customers. Rice looked, tasted blah. Maybe because it was overcooked, or cooks were not practiced at making this dish. Also, we ordered 2 beers, server poured one into a glass but failed to do do for the other. I visit this establishment on familys special oc assion but will try to discourage any more such events.

There was an advertisement at the JobLot website in Bedford MA for a rug that was on sale from $249 to $49. The store manager denied to sell the rug to me and customer service was called and she stated that was a mistake on the website, however the rug was still stating on the website for $49.They rudely stated that they wouldnt sale the rug to me for the price that was listed on the website. False advertisement! Printouts of the website with the sale were taken while I was still in the store.This practices goes against Massachusetts Consumer Protection Laws.

Lots of folks do a TJ Maxx and Ocean State Job Lot run in Bedford. Its starting to become a ritual for me on a bi-weekly basis because of that exciting fleeting moment when you find an item at a great price and you immediately buy it and brag to your family members on the awesome deal you found. That fleeting moment sometimes lasts for a few days. Its like going on a fishing trip and sometimes you catch a huge rare fish or one catches many fishes. It makes your day either way. Sometimes you walk through every aisle and find nothing. But you keep coming back here because you never know what item may pop up at an amazing price and sometimes you arrive at a perfect moment when you enter inside a Ocean State Job Lot when a store clerk annouces or post a new insane deal. Anyway, you can find awesome deals ...sometimes...

The store is sort of cluttered, but if you are willing to take the time and look around youre bound to find something you like at a great price. I especially enjoy their health and beauty, tea, and jarred sauce varieties.

This management is extremely arrogant, the front end lady said that she know that the Hercules stainless steel hose was not on sale even though there was a sign and it is in their 8/30-9/5 sales flyer and she refused to check either for verification. I would not shop there again.

Tough to find parking. Shopped for 45 minutes, turned to look at glasses for a minute and an employee took my cart, emptied it and brought the empty cart to the front. I left the store empty handed. Didnt have time to reshop. Bummer.
