We just so happen to be in the area & decided to stop by. It was a GREAT decision! The staff were busy preparing for other customers, but were very nice & helpful. Weve been to MANY bakeries, but this was the best 1 so far. Everything was flavorful, moist & pretty. Well be back whenever were back in town.

Such a cute bakery! From the moment I walked in, their customer service was top notch too!You will have a good variety of cake pops, cookies, and cupcakes to choose from, but not too many not to come to a decision. Guaranteed you will find a flavor you want. They also had cocoa bombs when I visited last (in December), HUGE cocoa bombs and cookie sandwiches. I won a giveaway box that had 2 cake pops, 2 cookie sandwiches and 2 cocoa bombs. I ended up also buying a strawberry cake pop, cookies and cream cupcake and of course, a lemon crinkle cookie! The latter was recommended by another reviewer.I hope to be back to visit soon!

Thank you so much Moonlight for saving the day! I had 2 days to plan a baby shower and needed a custom cake asap. No other bakery would help me but when I called Moonlight Cakes, I explained my delimma, and they came through and saved the day. To top it off, the cake and cupcakes came out amazing and I couldnt have asked for a better design on such short notice. They will have my business from here on out 😀

My friend ordered my birthday cake from here and it was one of the best cakes ive ever had! It was lemon with a layer of lemon curd. It was also beautiful with a fresh floral topper. Im not normally a cake person, now I believe because Ive never had good cake like this!Once we found out how close they were to our house and that they had assorted cupcakes and cookies, we were hooked. Weve been back 3 times. I even took a dozen cupcakes to my daughter in South Texas. Ive tried at least half the flavors and loved them all. Well be customers for life!

Fantastic!! Had a lemon blueberry cake with lemon cream cheese filling for my birthday and it was one of the best cakes Ive ever had! All of the guests agreed and several have asked where it was from. I will definitely order from Moonlight Cakes again.

Long review alert!My daughter and I had THE BEST experience at Moonlight Cakes when ordering her wedding cake! I ran in there one day on my lunch break in a panic when I realized a friend wasn’t going to be able to make the cake my daughter showed her. The young man that greeted me listened patiently to my story and assured me they could help us out. He was able to get us set up with a consultation appointment the weekend my daughter was coming home from college, Easter weekend.We felt as if we were their one and only customer. It was a busy day in the bakery and we were taken to a private room where everything was explained to us in great detail by Susan, (owner) and we had our taste test. Not once did we feel rushed, and everything we sampled was amazing! My daughter showed a picture of what she wanted and selected the flavors she wanted. We had a follow up appointment with Susan two weeks before the wedding to give our final headcount and confirm the flavors.The day of the wedding, Holly arrived early with the cake. She wanted to be there when the florist arrived since we requested fresh hydrangeas on the cake. I found out later that Susan called the florist to confirm their arrival time so she could make sure the cake was there when the florist arrived.When I saw the cake after such great detail that Holly took on cutting and placing each flower, I teared up. It was simply beautiful and looked identical to the picture my daughter showed at our first appointment! I could not wait for my daughter to see her cake! I hugged Holly and thanked her so much!When my daughter first saw her cake, it took her breath away and she was in awe at the beauty! It was finally time to cut the cake: 1st layer - white almond, 2nd layer - strawberry, 3rd layer - lemon. Oh my goodness, each flavor was amazing and all throughout the evening everyone was commenting on how beautiful the cake was and how delicious it was!Thank you Moonlight Cakes, and especially Susan and Holly!

Amazing customer service! I came here the day of my wife’s birthday after forgetting to get her a cake! They were able to decorate a small cake for me while I waited! The prices are reasonable for a little bakery such as this one. The cake was delicious. Only complaint would be a slight emptiness you feel when you are inside. It almost feels like you are in an old restaurant which is now a bakery.

After being kicked out of a bakery in Irving because I am unable to wear a mask, I called Moonlight Cakes to see what their rules were before driving over. Although they do require a mask, the sweet woman who spoke to me on the phone was so gracious and told me about their curbside options. I hung up the phone and actually got emotional because someone had been kind. I called back with my order and it was ready when I arrived.Its kind of besides the point for me, but the cake pops are delicious. My new favorite cupcake place. Usually go to Grapevine or Dallas. Loved every single flavor i tried. Amazing soft fluffy texture and robust flavors. Java bomb was the bomb. Strawberry and blushing bride were equally delicious. Its rather addictive.

I don’t know what the deal is with Moonlight Cupcakes, but they’ve recently started the bait & switch tactic and are not delivering what is pictured. Unfortunately, I’d prepaid for my order before arriving and receiving something different than what was pictured and advertised. I asked the gentleman if they changed the sprinkles and he responded “yep”... that was that. I’ll go back to my favorite Cupcakery shop in Southlake moving forward. They’ve never pulled a bait & switch on me. I just thought I’d found a decent place with Moonlight since I’ve switched work locations, but I don’t mind going to Southlake for consistency from a company that has quality goods.

Got some cupcakes via UberEats for my boyfriends birthday, these were all delicious and the cake was light and moist. Each cupcake was uniquely it’s own. My favorite ones were the Strawberry Fields and Lemon Twist! My boyfriend’s were Pb and fudge and salted caramel! Would order again in a heart beat!

I visited this place for the first time yesterday to get some cup cakes, I cannot say in my words how delicious are they with Yummy taste, wrapped up into one dynamic delectable tasting. This year, I decided to order my 18th birthday cake with them. I highly recommend the blushing bride !!!! SO GOOD. My cake was 8” round and it was so delicious. As a realtor, I buy tons of cupcakes as birthday gifts for clients. The service at my go-to place, Smallcakes in Keller, has really gone downhill, so decided to give these guys a try since theyre close to home. I have to say their cupcakes were waaaay better than Ive ever had at Smallcakes & the cookie was probably the best Ive ever tried. Total win for me as now I dont have to drive 25mins out of my way for sweet treats!

For my elopement/wedding, I had a simple vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and it was the perfect amount of flavor without being too sweet. For the decor, there was a red rose to match my bouquet and the top was blank so I could place my cake topper on top. The cake was delicious and moist, and I would highly recommend the bakery. Susan was an absolute joy to work with. Our cake tasting was great. My bridesmaids and I got to ask tons of question about her flavors and she was willing to try a few ideas that we had. I have received lots of positive feedback about our cake. In fact, one of our guests who is getting married in October has decided to book with Moonlight Cakes as well. Her price points are great and you can tell that she really wants you to be happy with your cake. We were provided boxes for guests to take slices home as well. My husband’s cake was so much fun. We brought in photos of what we were looking for and Susan and Moonlight Cakes delivered. As my Fiance and I lived in Georgia, Susan arranged for me to take a mini sample kit home for my Fiance to taste the cakes and help with the decision. A+ Service!

We used Moonlight Cakes for our wedding cake and wedding cupcakes. First of all, their cakes and cupcakes taste AMAZING! We tasted cakes from endless other places, and nothing even came close to how delicious Moonlight’s are, not to mention the numerous flavor options! Our guests are still commenting on how delicious everything was. Second, our wedding cake was stunning. They were so patient and kind during the design process and they worked with me until they were able to make my vision come to life perfectly. They are also extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with. During our first meeting they gave us important information about buttercream vs fondant for colors and design elements that none of the other bakeries we had visited had told us. In addition, we needed gluten free cupcakes for family members with celiac, and since they don’t have a gluten free kitchen they not only referred us to a bakery nearby that could make them for us, but also picked them up, delivered them, and included them in the display so we didn’t have to do any extra work. Finally, Moonlight Cakes was affordable and they worked with us to make sure we stayed within our budget, including suggesting ideas like fake cake layers (still frosted like the rest of the cake). They truly cared about creating our perfect wedding cake, but also making sure it was one we could afford. Overall, Moonlight Cakes provided us with a beautiful and delicious wedding cake and cupcake arrangement. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Where have I been? This place is just down the street from my house! And I love cake. Not only are the cakes and cupcakes beautiful, but the most important part...they are soooo delicious, so fresh, so perfect. Lots of flavor, not just sweet, not just pretty to look at. These ladies know how to bake cake! And the prices are not Dallas ridiculous. Forget those other places, really! Try Moonlight Cakes. They are the real deal.

Best cupcakes EVER!!! My mom didnt realize they were closed on Sunday and picked up some cupcakes from a different bakery for my birthday. Two bites and it went in the trash. Any of the reviews that say anything other than these being the best dont know what a real cupcake should taste like.

I ordered my sons birthday cake, the cake decoration was ok, but the cake was very sticky and tasted very doughy. It was not moist or fluffy. We didnt enjoy it. I would not recommend this place and I will not go back.

DELICIOUS AND BEAUTIFUL.I’d like to start out by saying that Susan makes the most delicious cakes my husband and I have ever eaten. Moonlight Cakes offers a large variety of cake and filling flavors (which not all places do) – I mean options like peanut butter and salted caramel buttercream! TO DIE FOR. Working with Susan was a breeze, she was quick to pick up on what we were looking for and offer suggestions to help guide us. The end result was also absolutely beautiful, an ombre effect of rainbow sprinkles! I’m so happy that they opened up a cupcake shop as well – it means I can eat “duplicates” of my wedding cake as often as I want. What’s better than that?!

My initial review is not displaying, so I feel compelled to reiterate my issues with Moonlight:I attempted to order cupcakes for my mothers surprise birthday party in June, but the Boozy flavor of the month was Pina Colada. My mom loves bourbon, and I have ordered the Bourbon Chocolate Bacon cupcakes previously, with the understanding that I would purchase a minimum of a dozen to offset the cost of supplies. I was told by Whitney and another employee that they no longer allow purchasing of boozy cupcakes that are not the flavor of the month. After explaining that my mom is highly allergic to pineapple, they continued to deny my request and offered NO OTHER OPTIONS to me. I ended up ordering plain chocolate cupcakes form another bakery and adding my own pipettes of my moms favorite bourbon and bacon. I saved a ton of money, as Moonlights prices are far too high as well. Save your money and work with someone else that will work with you!!!

We ordered Moonlight Cakes through UberEats at work. We had never heard of them but had a craving, so we gave it a shot-- We were not disappointed!! The cake was soft and fluffy, the flavors were amazing, and the presentation was beautifull. We gobbled thm up before we could take a picture!!
