Went to Lone Star Yarn in Bedford today to pick up my North Texas Yarn Crawl tote, map, etc. which I had reserved. Kris, the owner, included two lovely stitch markers, a discount coupon for future event purchase, plus a drawing for an on-the-spot discount on todays purchases. What fun! Great shop!

Kris is so sweet, friendly and fun. She takes the time to answer my many questions. She has a growing variety of yarn and several from Texas Indie dyers. She also offers consignments for handmade items. Im so glad I discovered this local yarn store!

Very small but the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable of their products.

This is a young and up-coming store !!! The owner, Kris Murphy, has put in a lot of hard work, thought, and love into this store and it shows. Her inventory is expanding weekly, so there is always something new to look at when you go in. There is a consignment area, several sitting areas ( some with a table), and a coffee bar. Kris can help you learn how to crochet, and her assistant can help you learn how to knit.

Owner has many years experience in the use of yarn. Great place to sell your yarn made items. Lovely store with great variety of colors, weights and everything is locally sourced.
