Always good prices and they have great flavors. Plus they take cards if you spend over $5. I never carry cash so thats really helpful!

My wife and I have been going here for the last five years. And while we used to go two to three times a week, after being disappointed during our first visit of the summer last year, we didnt return. We thought wed give it another chance this year, but walked away wishing wed driven another minute down the road and gotten something better.After the original owners sold Buds, the new owner threw on a new, much needed, coat of paint and jacked up the prices. Not to mention, their flavors arent good anymore. It tastes like a lot of them were swapped out for cheaper substitutes or sugar free. In either case, its not the Buds we came to enjoy when we moved to the area.

Nice place with very fair priced drinks. It was a shame they were out of the Boba tapioca balls the day I went, but my drink was still pretty good.

Oh my gosh. I’m so happy I found shave ice that is open year round! It’s delicious! It’s the super fine shaved kind-our favorite! They have lots of new things like boba and ice cream and teas we need to try too but the shave ice is great. Be warned-they don’t skimp on the syrup so if you’re getting in the car with them ask for extra napkins!!

Get the strawberry delight short cake i think. Has even vanilla ice cream on the bottom so worth the drive from Dallas !

Great Sno-cone and the milk tea was super good. I wasn’t sure about it when he offered a sample but wow, it was really good.

I remember how this place was before the revamp with the concrete tables, umbrellas, and cartoon characters along the fence. It was great! Stopped by today super excited to get a sno-cone and left quite unsatisfied. I have a question; how much is a medium sno-cone with regular cream?I ordered a cherry with cream and to my surprise, it is flat, there is hardly a film of cream on top, and none whatsoever within my sno-cone. What has happened?! That was incredibly stingy, no!? I have a picture so the owner can see what Im talking about, and if Im mistaken, then do kindly point out where the cream is. It is also a shame your employees dont know whether your establishment is year round or seasonal. The staff seemed friendly enough, but, unfortunately, it does not equate to making a good sno-cone. Wanted to bring my whole family and friends here but may just let it die along with a piece of my childhood.

Great snow cones, and delicious smoothies.

Not the same. been going there since 1997 when some friends that grew up in the area showed it to me. Have come multiple times a year since regardless of where in the metroplex I was living. Worth the drive. Even introduced my kids to it when they were old enough. I admit that I did not have a sno this time, but they only had like 1/4 of the flavors and mine was no longer there. Not saying that I wont try later, was super sad so I went home.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! Amazing drinks and boba, great Icecream bubble waffles, lots of delicious stuff to choose from. Definitely a go to for someone looking for something sweet and flavorful.

Love the flavors and so happy they have baby size for my toddler. Plus, you can ask for easy flavor so its not as sweet!

It’s been a few years since I’ve been to buds as we’ve moved away. Couldn’t wait to get back and taste my favorite flavors only to find they have changed everything that was good about buds. The classic flavors we lived are no longer available, prices are higher for smaller quantity and the music being played was very offensive to a mother of young children. I mentioned the music having curse words. The kids working there changed it and the new song used the “N” word Non-stop. Won’t be back. I’d rather go down the street to Bedford Snoballs.

Buds is still the best in mid cities area... needs revamped like the way Bud had it when he was alive. Still tasty... for some reason the do not put the cone on the sno cone?? Strange but Im ok with it!

Ive been coming here since I was 1st opened. It has been sold twice Since then. Still have a great Shaved ice and many different flavors including jubilees which are parts of a fruit cluded with the flavor.

I like Buds for several reasons. The location is easily accessed, the staff were friendly and very attentive to my order. And when my 4year old Granddaughter accidentally dropped her snow cone, they replaced it no charge. I will be visiting again

They have a variety of flavors (including sugar free) and the ones we tried were wonderful. They did not skimp on the flavor either and even gave us a doggie cup which I believe was cheese flavored. My pup loved it! We will be return customers.

The most delicious Sno balls in the neighborhood! Why make a line somewhere else if this place is the better than all others? They even have a rewards card! Ask for it. 100% recommended.

We lived in Bedford back in the 1980s and loved Buds. We recently moved back to the DFW area and when driving by the old Bedford home we decided to see if Buds was still there. Bonus, they were and it was as great as we remembered. Love the shaved ice. And, the prices still seem 1980s. Cant wait to visit again.

We loved taking our daughter here about twice a week. She loved to play, the snocones were good. But I accidentally left my debit card there. I showed up to come get it not even 48 hours later, mind you I cant call them about my card because they dont have a phone number on here. Within this 24 hour period the owner took it upon himself to call my bank, to supposedly have them reach out to me. They inscrructed him to shred my card, but instead of seeing if I show up in the next few days he took my personal debit card to his home and shredded it. Thats how I have access to all my money and now I have to wait 10-14 days to get my new card when I have a young toddler to take care of and buy groceries for. If he would have spoken to the young man that works there he would know that we come up there about twice a week and would have eventually come for my card. Im appalled at how this situation was handled, Ive never had a place of business do this before. My family will be taking our business elsewhere now.

From when I was super young until late high school when we would play concerts here.You see... a sno-cone stand is SO much more than just a place! Its a place to be with friends, to hang out, and to do life together. Bring JOY to people!The flavors here are awesome, the owner is super-nice, but the FUN makes everything come together!I love this place. I will always love this place.

Horrible service. Three employees in building and only one employee was making sno cones for previous customers. The door was opened twice and then shut in my face twice without even taking my order. However, they had plenty of time to socialize with each other while inside. After 15 minutes standing at the window without simply taking my order, I left and went down the street to Bedford snoball. A much better experience!My negative review was immediately followed up with a response from the owner. I can respect that he is very much involved with keeping customers happy and as much as I was disappointed with the service I received. I am aware that the employees are only teens and haven’t yet learned the aspect of customer satisfaction but I am very pleased to know that the owner will be teaching them and I will return to buds sno ball! Shout out to a great owner and his timely response!!!

I was overwhelmed by the amount of clutter at this facility. Looks like a Bahama Bucks knock off. Service is extremely slow and not worth the wait. I was pretty discusted to see the workers put their dirty hands in the candy containers. Come to find out it is under new ownership. Explains the tacky decor.

Went there the first time today ordered a wedding cake Snoball while I was there a couple came back with theirs mentioning that they didnt taste right compared to other flavors that theyve had I got mine and it didnt taste right it was fruity instead of a wedding cake taste and ice is not as fine as I prefer I only came to this location over my original location of Bedford Snoball because this location offers credit card payments but from now on Ill just have to carry cash and go to Bedford snowball
