From my wife:On the recommendations of several friends, we went to Texas Guitar Ranch to shop for a ukulele. Matt H immediately came to our assistance and was a great help! He is super knowledgeable about ukuleles and answered all my questions. When I heard him play my Kala ebony tenor, she was telling me she wanted to be mine. After help getting the perfect accessories, we couldnt be more pleased with our experience! Well be back, and will be bringing the many musician friends we have.

I’m sure this is a good place to shop. My son had flown in on a delayed flight to celebrate his birthday. We needed a guitar dealer close to the airport as it was close to closing time. I was going to surprise him with the rig of his choice and all the gear and was really excited to experience the Texas Guitar Ranch based on the reviews. Unfortunately, they had something important to do and had closed early.

Matt is awesome. He genuinely engaged in helping me find some strings that might very well be an excellent alternative to ones Ive had no luck in finding. Small but comfortable space inside and a climate controlled section for the acoustic guitars. I was impressed with the wider array and variety of everything which,in my opinion, rivals larger chain stores. Also, huge brownie points for having a hammered dulcimer even though it was tucked away a bit near the back. Definitely going back to check out more!

Might be a good place, but who knows, they are never open during their advertised times, and they never answer the phones. Not sure if its still open.

Purchased a 12 string and a used bass for my son. Great quality. Staff here is very knowledgeable and friendly. No more going to guitar center with the other sheep. These guys know their stuff and have great selections for all your guitar needs.

Cool place pretty much has all the gear you need. Service was really good got help right away and the clerk was semi- knowledgeable about the guitars. My only complaint is alot of the guitars seemed used along with some of the other gear. The place has a little bit of a pawn shop feel but it is loaded with gems. Would I recommend over guitar center...hard to say maybe for pedals and misc. gear but for just guitars I would head to guitar center.

Got hung up in traffic and arrived there at 6:02. Of course they were closed. Next day went to Guitar Center, that is a real store and open until 9, to purchase all my cables. I should have known better than to try to go to a small hobby type retailer.

Wanted to let anybody knew to this store know that the store is no longer open. I do not know why but it does not appear that the store will re open soon

I found a very nice Hagstrom Super Suede for a good price there. Customer service is wonderful and the merchandise they carry is really cool as well. Its also great because I dont have to drive all the way out to Lewisville, Dallas, Arlington, etc. just to go to a decent guitar shop. I highly recommend this place if youre looking for a great guitar.

This place is great! Down-to-earth customer service and was pleasantly surprised at the selection of guitars, amps, effects pedals and accessories. They have 10 times more pedals in-stock here than at guitar center. They just opened so I cant wait until they build up their used selection. Their prices are right inline with the best going rate for new gear online but these guys are willing to talk you through your decision and work with you where they can on some stuff.I usually have a thousand questions and this place reminds me of the type of service youd get at music stores 20 years ago where youre not left to fend for yourself. These guys know what they are talking about and theyll actually take the time to help you out.

The new, smaller storefront helps the staff be able to provide more assistance and individual attention to visitors. Their selection is still on point

Im from out of town and went out of my way to stop here because they had a guitar listed on their website as in stock. I was ready to make the purchase when I arrived. When I asked to see it they said they never have it in stock they order it in if you buy one.Dishonest practices to get you in the store and they are unapologetic about it.

Love this place had a broken guitar headstock and IBrought it in for them to look at they were honest and very respectful and the great part is Danny fixed my guitar
