Every employee is pleasant to talk. I dont like empty shelves but sometimes there is. This the S&S in belchertown mass.

Just came in and searched for an item (GOYA empanada patties) that I was looking for. Decided after a few looks up and down the freezer isle for this item myself and coming up unsuccessful Id ask for help from the first person I see. This young lady is working on items in the hygiene aisle and I walk up to her with a picture of the item on my phone and asked politely if she knew if this store carried it because I wasnt successful in finding it myself. She was unsure off the bat. She asked another associate walking by if she knew and the other employee pretty much laughed and said that the store doesnt carry any frozen Goya products as if Im in the wrong place. Said she doesnt know why it still shows they carry those items at that store. Her and the original woman I first asked both laughed as I walked out. Answered like they didnt have the time to be a little more helpful and maybe kind.

Prices marked wrong. No way know paying for some items. Say on sale but notToo expensive.

They didnt have any sanitizer whips to clean the carts off with. I was disappointed ☹️ and it can make a person Leary of coming back if things are not maintained properly or promptly. The rest of the visit was fine.

My only concern is the store is not requiring customers to wear covid face masks. The variant is still very much active.**** Your reply is nice BUT are you REQUIRING CUSTOMERS to wear masks????

It was a smaller stop and shop but well kept up. It did have the gas on site which is nice. The produce was great and well stocked. Was quick on the checkout as well prices were very fair for the area.

Quick efficient shopping during off hours. They had all I was looking for on my shopping list and a good selection of new products to choose from.

Clean store.. not very crowded... friendly staff ... cashier was very nice I forget my S& S card and she used the store card....I am working in Belchertown and I needed lunch...food was good ...

Its always a good place to shop I ran the main line cable to this building 10 years ago and Im glad its still running

Floor was dirty by the deli. Shelves poorly stocked...for example there were two small heads of broccoli and they were wilted and soft. As I was looking at bags of spinach an employee asked me if I was going to use it that day cuz the dates are bad. Bins of berries were mostly empty and the ones that were there were wilted and looked old.

Always an easy and fast shopping experience, well organized aisles and helpful staff.

Unreasonably slow. Only visit to save distance if I travel back through Belchertown

Shelves are poorly stocked particularly in the meat department. Floor was dirty in front of the deli. Only two live cashier open with a line at the self checkout. Hand sanitizer was empty. Belchertown store.

I havent been in a while due to Belchertown being in the red regarding covid. Today the shelves were somewhat bear. Fruit, meats etc. When I asked the clerk why, he just ignored me as did the bag boy. Very sad to say Palmer Big Y has it over Stop & Shop. Wont be going back for a while.

They are not sanitizing the carts. People going against the arrows. They did have most items on the shelves and store was not crowded.

They were having some sort of survey promotion, but I was in a hurry, and the cashier pinned the receipt down onto the belt with her hand and wouldnt let it go until she finished her spiel. Really obnoxious.

Every employee and manager are very friendly, helpful which is why I drive out of my way to shop there. Their products are top notch!

Great friendly employees always out going and their to help bag your groceries and the deli counter is awesome always staffed and ready to slice what you want! very personable and out going. Parking always available and lot is cleaned and neat, always a carriage by the door waiting to get filled! This location also has a fuel station right next door and points system is great for saving the family some money for more food! Over all win win at this local shopping center! Keep up the great work guys!

In stock with everything on my grocery list.Only issue was dodging workers for the pickup/ delivery customers, stopping in middle of aisle or not watching for people around them.

Ive been shopping here regularly for six years. After that time, my impression is: Unimpressive selection given the size of the store, high prices, things are in multiple places around the store, layout is confusing and appears to be designed to be as space-inefficient as possible. I shop in Hadley or Holyoke instead when I can, because the prices are lower and the quality and selection are better, but its nice to have a grocery store nearby, and honestly, I mostly shop here, which almost doubled my grocery bill moving from NH (its more expensive everywhere in MA, but this place is particularly expensive). The staff is always friendly and helpful though!

Great store

The stop and shop pharmacists are absolutely wonderful. They have gone out of their way to help me on several occasions because my medication schedule is complicated. They also helped me understand the way my insurance covers my medications, and went above and beyond to fix not one, but two errors that were not their own fault.I travel a little extra to go to this pharmacy because they have made the experience worth it.

Good, with a just acceptable selection. Prices are abnormally high. Example: junk, generic 18oz blueberries were $17.99. If they were wild blueberries then price is sensible but as they were not, it was not. Store brand deli sliced roast beef $12.99. You can buy low sodium Boars Head for that price elsewhere. But their prices are substantially lower than the Big Y for nearly everything. At least the store was clean and the staff were very efficient but not the friendliest.

I am usually very satisfied with Stop and Shop.Last night I went to pick up a chuck roast (5:45). The one that was out was gray so went to meat counter. All shut down and no one to help. I went to Customer Service and was told that the meat department shuts down at 5:00 every day. So shocked with that answer. I will now have to stop somewhere else on my way home from work. Unfortunate!

Good customer service. The people are so nice and welcoming. And its easy to find what youre looking for. The gas station attendants nice too if you need help pumping your gas they will help you with that as well.

The past several times Ive been there some of the packages of meat have been brown.. also went to get bacon and one package of stop and shop brand was brown.. Ill never get meat from this place again!

Great produce section. I love that they sell clearance produce at reduced prices, but hate that they put them in Styrofoam trays. Wish they would do something sustainable & non toxic.

Just called the store and told them I bought k-cups (yesterday 7/21) and the expiration date on the box is from last month 6/26/19. The lady on the phone really didn’t seem phased. Makes me wonder how many other expired food products are on the shelves and they are selling.

Theyre located nearby. I like the service and friendly staff. I love that they offer reduced priced items like produce, meals, bread, meats and much more.

This is slightly smaller than Hadley and has no fish counter (just a big freezer). Their produce can leave something to be desired at times. But the lack of crowd is AMAZING. Its so easy to get in and out, and the staff here are great!

Nice place to stop and grab some extras on a road trip. Staff was nice and even helped me find a huge bag of bird seed which I used to feed some birds. Bathrooms are nice and clean and thats always a plus.

Close to home, great place to shop. Does a fine job serving a a rural area.

Pretty big store with decent choices of prepared foods as well as a Salad bar which had fresh produce and legumes as choices. Deli and Meat cases were nice and clean and well stocked. My only complaint would be some of the aisles were messy with displays and some sale goods were out of stock. Lots of choices otherwise...

Very, very clean. Fresh produce, prices are acceptable for me because they offer the best quality and I save points to get gas after chopping. My first choice for grocery store.

Store went back to its normal, friendly environment even after the strikes tensions. Glad Stop & Shop decided to maintain and even improve their benefits to their well-performing employees. Welcome back!

Helpful staff but many more out of stock or we dont carry that because it outdates compared with the store I just moved away from. Very detail oriented floor cleaning staff.

Decent place, low line wait times, vast variety. Poor internet however so the store app is not usually accessible while in the store.

Stop & Shop has everything you need at reasonable prices. The deli and prepared foods areas are top notch. It should be noted that the non-food items (general merchandise, personal care products, etc.) are usually expensive. This location has a gas station where you get discounts based on your shopping orders.

I really like the cleanliness of this store and the great selection of everyday items as well as some specialty products.

Store is clean and well stocked. Good sales. Using digital coupons saves you more money. Free offers are offered when you use digital coupons.

Outside of paper products and cleaning supplies, there has been an abundance of supplies. Store is always kept clean.

Nice store, go there on Sunday mornings as Im form South Hadley and like there store compared to others in the area.

The staff here is very friendly, helpful, and informative. The store is kept super clean and the food is always fresh too.

This Stop & Shop is the only real grocery store in the entire town of Belchertown (which is the second largest town in the state) so they are only as good as they have to be with little to no competition. The produce selection is usually pretty poor. Ive never had fruit or vegetables that I purchased there last more than a day or two. When they have really good sales they are sold out of those items for almost the entire week. While you can get rain checks for these sale items, that wont help when you spent hours planning a shopping trip to stack sales and maximize gas points. The gas station on site is convenient. Other than that the employees are usually pretty friendly and helpful.

They were selling moldy fruits to people and were also selling packaged foods without labeled expiration dates. This store can not be trusted for fresh food..

Very Helpful and the helped me find what I was looking for.

Do not use this stop and shop. The people are lazy, not friendly, look at you like you are the one supposed to be providing them a service and speak to you the same way as well. Also I received a great amount of attitude when it came to them closing their service desk ten minutes early when I desperately needed to pay a bill, they would not help me.

Its a grocery store, what else can be said. No more thrilling than other grocery stores. Swing by, buy dinner items, cook and enjoy.
