I really like having an Ace Hardware in my home town. I used to have to go to Albuquerque to find the really cool stuff. Now, I can spend that time in the store instead of driving. I go at least once a week. They do especially good at making keys.

I use to visit the big orange box store. Occasionally a smaller store because it was close. After they opened this store I started shopping here. They have a better selection on everything I have looked for. The staff is right on top of things from the time you walk in. Sometimes I go to one of these stores and just wonder around and find things I didnt know I wanted. Lol have always been treated as if they want me to come back . So I Dont mind driving the extra miles just to see their smiles, well now thats not true because visible smiles are not allowed. Great store thank You. This is my latest project and you might not think you can find stuff for something like this but you would be wrong.

If you need good, helpful advice on a project this is the place to go. If you just need good company this is the place to go. If you like black licorice and friendly people, this is the place to go. If you like being ignored, have no idea what youre doing and dont know what happiness feels like then go to Lowes or Home Depot. If youre dead inside go to Tabets. If youre a bog witch go to Raks.

I am greeted as soon as I walk in the door. Staff are pretty friendly and knowledgeable.

This place has just about whatever you need, friendly service social distancing in place and masking. The only problem is is there overpriced

Had a deadbolt rekeyed with additional keys made. Staff was knowledgeable and professional. I was in and out in a half hour. The cost of this service was very reasonable.

There were a lot of nice young people the day I went in to get keys. Ace tends to be a little higher, but they are great for quick trips. This store was clean as well.

I Absolutley Love their customer service. I ordered an item online and was planning onPickinng it up. Well unfortunely My plans fell through so I called to see if it would be possible to have it delivered, The Manager was very professional, and understanding, They will be delivering it today!I love walking into that store the associates are aware that you exist and are ALWAYS WILLING TO GO THAT EXTRA MILE! Boy oh boy do I like this store. And best part is that its close to where I live..so even better. I like places that offer you coupons.. A big plus for me. Customer service is excellent!!! They are trained very well so it makes the trip easy and stress free.

Was greeted immediately when I went in and asked what I was looking for—the sales associate went around the store with me and my list and helped me find each item! I then needed additional assistance finding a light bulb and the other associate who assisted me looked up the bulb to see if they carried it— they didn’t so he looked up the bulbs on amazon and gave me a price on them! I couldn’t even believe the exceptional service. Just moved to Belen so I’ll be going back for all my home needs! Thanks guys!

Who doesnt like Ace? I love to go in there and just browse. I have found super cool plants, cool gadgets, great garden ideas, and tools galore. I love Ace Hardware almost as much as Harbor Freight. Ace is a really great place.

One of the last hardware stores where employees actually ask you about the projects you are working on. Definitely more lively than most stores found in Albuquerque where most of the workers are just too busy with something and walking too fast. Seems like the handymen at other stores are the norm for them. But here? They will help you find everyting you need.

NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN SO HUMILIATED IN MY LIFE!!! At approximately 435 pm Today I was in Ace with my husband and two children. We needed two things. A toilet seat and electrical tape. My husband went to the electrical tape and I went down the bathroom isle to look for toilet seats. I found that they had what I needed. Great! Just need to run it by my husband. I walked to the tape and helped him find the tape he needed. We, as a family, walked back over to the toilet seats. I was approached by Kathrine who asked if she could speak to me. She then stated that one of her associates saw me put something in my purse. Kathrine then asked if she could look in my purse. I complied as I have nothing to hide. This was not done in an office but in the middle of an isle in front of other customers and my kids. I asked to speak to Kathrines manager to which she replied “No, I am the store manager I am dealing with it.” I will never, ever go into another ACE. I am currently waiting for owner to call me.

This place is great. The store is clean and well stocked. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and know the people that come in frequently. The prices are good, similar to a larger hardware store. The selection is very good for weekend tasks and small projects (they have had everything Ive ever looked for), which is perfect because before these guys opened, we had to drive 15 miles to the nearest hardware store (which was a huge pain, especially when there is multiple trips to the hardware store involved.)

They had everything I was looking for. Theres always someone right there to help with locating an object to how to use it.

5 star, everything you expect from an ACE! Fast friendly service, experts to assist, and always someone around to just point you in the right direction!

Ace Hardware is the place to be when you need special gas for your 4 cycle law mower! Its on aisle 11 in the middle of accessories for yard maintenance. So much to look at when you go in there. Beautiful birdbaths, gorgeous lawn ornaments, plus pet supplies, garden needs, plumbing, hardware, and much, much more. When I walked through the door I was greeted, and was asked if they could help me. I asked where the special gas was. There was no hesitation from the Ace Associate, he knew exactly knew where to find it.Nice folks in there, Ill go back there, and shop. Christmas is right around the corner, Now thats a great idea! Thank you Ace Hardware for a nice experience!

I would give this place no stars but that isnt an option. I went in to get some bolts. Simple right? Not so much. I couldnt find what I was looking for but there was no one willing to assist me. No less than 6 people that work there went by me as the area I was in was near the employee room but not a single one including the manager asked if I needed anything. After about 10 minutes, I had found what I needed, wrote down the sku and quantity of the items I intended to buy (it was self serve after all) and I went to pay.... The cashier asked me (didnt say hello or anything nor did he greet me on the way in the store mind you) he asked me if I knew the price of the items. I told him the sku was on the bag but he didnt know how to look it up so he called for a price check. Another guy comes to the front and takes everything to the back where I had got them from and never returns. While Im waiting I watch this cashier help other people, rudely I must add, and getting things wrong that the customers were asking for. One guy asked for sheep manure and he didnt know what it was I guess so he said steer manure?, to which the customer responds, no, sheep manure. The guy rings him up for steer manure anyway and the guy has to come back because he was being loaded with steer manure he didnt want. 10 - 15 minutes go by during all this and I ask the cashier if the other guy is ever coming back... He tells me he doesnt know. He is wearing a radio with an ear piece and I ask him if he could ask as I point to the ear piece. So he asks and has to explain the entire situation presumably because the guy forgot what he was sent to do. I just started to walk out at that point then thought I should at least let the manager know. She comes out and her response was, Well, we have a lot of new people here sir, did you still want the sheep manure? I almost lost it as I walked out the doors. I will never go back. My suggestion to them : look up customer service then study the definition for a while. If you find you dont think you can or are not capable of doing it, quit and find a more suitable vocation.

Helpful and curtious staff. Didnt have everything I needed, but for a smaller store they had a pretty good selection. The isles are very narrow but not impossible traverse.

Nice clean location. They should do something about there so called no gun policy. Its Un-American. Which is exactly why i no longer shop at walmart. Things may be harder to find or not as cheap but im all about the second amendment. Hope you guys change that POLICY.

I went into the store for the first time today. The staff greeted me and were very friendly. They were very helpful, but not clingy. What impressed me most was the wide variety of products. I went in for a bolt and was directed to the aisle they were in. OH MY GOD, they were in bins and drawers. No packs of 10 to 20. A REAL HARDWWARE STORE. I got what I needed and just wondered around a bit. I looked for items that I had bought at the closest big box lumber outlet recently and they had them all. And the pricing was competitive. This store is now my go to for hardware in the future.

Omgsh, these guys & gals have absolutely thee best customer service I have ever seen! Each and every one of them walk up to you immediately and ask if you need help, and guess what? We dont have to chase them down, like some of those other hardware stores, and I think you know who Im talking about, they even do repairs on select items, at a great price! Highly 100% recommend going here before you drive to Los Lunas, or even anywhere here in Belen. Go people go! 🙌🏼

Hard to believe that Ace Hardware carries items that cannot be found at Walmart, Home Depot or Lowes but they do! I needed some old fashioned shelves, the kind that has 2 metal brackets that screw into the wall, metal shelf holders and wooden shelves. The big box stores have the same basic thing but only available with wire shelves, not good for displaying the items I have on the shelves. Ace had everything I needed!
