What a great spot! I was looking for a to-go breakfast, and Tracis sure delivered! Eggs over medium...check, sausage links tasty...check, home fries... excellent, and toast, of course! I ordered for pickup in ten minutes, and ten minutes later, it was ready...the atmosphere in the diner is friendly, wish I could have simply say down and enjoyed breakfast right there, but, due to time constraints, I couldnt. The staff still made me feel like a valued customer, a smile and a thanks goes a long way to starting the day with a good attitude! I recommend Tracis wholeheartedly! Great food, served well.
Bathroom is disguised! If they can not take care of there bathroom then they cannot take care of behind the cooking area! Plus the owners wife double charged me for a kids hamburger and coffee with another customers order! And could fix it! The owner lost it with me after exposing she was charging me the wrong order! Plus he yelled at me stating mistakes happen!Plus $ over price for a cheap dirty restaurant ! $14.00’ for a coffee and kids burger! That’s outrageous!Cheap joint for idiot locals that don’t know any better!
Wife and I had a great lunch here. Portion size was everything youd want a diner to be, food was tasty and came out fast, despite a couple of big groups being seated the same time as us. Very cool art on the walls. You pay as you leave.
There is a good reason there might be a wait to sit down- the food is great! We got here right before the busy time and snagged two counter spots. The coffee was hot and food came out quickly. I had the potato cakes meal- its so yummy! My husband had a hash special, which was also very good.Definitely stop here.
Please dismiss Karen’s review 2 down. We traveled to the area from Iowa. Everyone was very friendly and the food was great. Our waiter was very personable and kind. Food was done in a timely manner. Would recommend to friends.
Always great food, whether breakfast or lunch! For breakfast, we love the #2 or if youre really hungry the All About Tracy is the way to go! For lunch I love the chicken club meal. Even their French fries are the best!
My wife and I ate breakfast here on Monday October 18, 2021. We foolishly disregarded the bad reviews. I had my heart set on Lobster Benedict...So so sooooo.... Disappointing! Lobster meat was cold and tough and the egg was nearly raw. My wife went for the corned beef hash. I discouraged her because we make our own, usually with leftovers from St. Pattys Day, and I felt she would be disappointed. As she was eating the waitress explained to a nearby table that they dont make that there (As in...it comes in a CAN!!!).So I left one star because thats the lowest you can go. I would also mention that the bathrooms were filthy and quite honestly the entire place was subpar. I know, I know...we should have walked out. Do yourself a favor and believe my review. Run, dont walk, away!!!
I go to tracis diner pretty regularly on weekend mornings. They serve great breakfast that tastes like breakfast your grandmother would make. They also serve really great lunch items, but really famous in Belfast for there breakfast. On weekend mornings it does get super busy and be a small diner there are often wait times.... worth the wait. They are located on Main St. In Belfast Maine. The price range for breakfast is maybe 5-15 dollars a person. Lunch maybe 10 - 20 dollars a person.
I came here for a family lunch. We ordered the haddock sandwich, fries, onion rings, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks and the chicken burger. The fries arent the greatest, but everything else was very delicious. The chicken burger was a chicken patty, but it didnt bother us. The food is very affordable and all good was tender and juicy. The haddock is really great for the price, and the tenders are higher quality than expected. I definitely recommend coming here for an affordable night out.
Busy place for breakfast but worth the wait. Great food and service. Surrounding views are spectacular.
This was my first visit, and I was impressed with how smooth the transition was from entering, to getting a table in a small diner. I was overly impressed with the Irish Benny breakfast, very well cooked an presented. The home fries were phenomenal. I would recommend stopping by on your way through Belfast.
Never had a breakfast I didn’t love at Traci’s, but be prepared for crowds and waiting especially on weekends and especially during the summer. At least it’s worth waiting for. I especially love the pancakes and the benedicts. I really appreciate that they serve great food and that their prices aren’t way too high like so many places in Belfast unfortunately. It’s so nice to have a place that’s affordable and delicious. Thank you Traci’s for thinking of the people who live and work here and giving us such good quality and service!
This was such a lovely find! I loved the festive murals and great food! Good service and clean bathroom! Lots of locals in the dining area proves it to be a well-loved breakfast spot.
A spectacular breakfast of potato pancake with cheddar cheese & sausage plus eggs. My eggs overeasy were wonderful.Strict mask policy was a good sign.
Popular place on a Sunday morning in tourist season. Little area to wait in so you are mostly either standing in the doorway or just outside. Pretty lengthy menu for a small breakfast type establishment. Anybody can cook eggs and sausage and these were pretty much standard. In addition I have a pancake which was the size of a dinner plate but in my opinion a little doughy. I like pancakes and on the edges and a little crispy. But my wife had a lobster omelette special which she greatly enjoyed and the wheat toast with it was above average. The waitress was super nice and got us iced teas to go. The portions in general are extremely large.
Pleasant place and these photos give a flavor of the style of the town. The service was good. We ordered conventional breakfast choices and the food is only average. The more expensive choices with lobster would be the better way to go.
Let’s see, overpriced, and mask mandate to enter the restaurant, only to be seated from people less than 1 foot apart at the counter or the dining area, hmm 🤔 let’s see, wear a mask to walk near people then sit down and can take it off, with people right beside me!!!!! That is perfectly logical!!! NOT! $20 for lobster Benedict, overpriced and I can buy a whole lobster down the street for $13.98 a LB! Don’t waste your money! Not saying the food isn’t good but the treatment and service was obnoxious!
Its a diner! Layed back, and friendly feeling. Fun atmosphere, and fun staff. Awesome food!
Was looking for a place to have a late breakfast and came across Tracis. Very friendly staff, great food, good prices, nice ambiance. If in the area again, I wouldnt hesitate to stop there again, and its highly recommended.
Nice diner, I like the murals. Friendly staff. Masks required! Which is good. I enjoyed the Jack stack
Great food, fun atmosphere. We really enjoyed our breakfast and the staff.
We love Tracys! Always good food and fast and prompt service! One of our standbys! Maybe yours too?
Great place for breakfast 😋.Pam, our waitress, was a delight and fun.We will be back!! Food was delicious.
Must try the grilled blueberry muffin. The lobster eggs Benedict was fabulous along with the HUGE blueberry pancakes.
Long wait for a table. Small tables. Food is good. Not the cleanest place l’ve seen. Do not sit at the table next to the bathroom. Good people working but need to work more on cleanness.
Biggest concern waiter Not following Covid guidelines. Masks being worn below the nose! Even after being told he continued to ignore the mask mandate. The place is very dirty and run down. Food was ok for what we had. Not recommended, most positive reviews by local people not people traveling through Belfast.
Its an ok diner. Better than some fast food joint. I doubt Id make it a regular spot if I lived in the area. Food is ok if a bit bland. I get better at home but my wife is a great cook.
Cute diner, breakfast sandwich was awesome, pancake was doughy and not that flavorful. Really happy they required masks.
Waiting in for someone to great and let us know how long a wait might be or anything and no one acknowledges your presence. Just stares and grumbles that there are so many people waiting to sit down. Also, they let regulars cut in line. They were nice once we sat down and the food was good. Just a terrible first impression
The people who work here are very pleasant. The food is great.
If you happen to find yourself in the quaint fishing town of Belfast in the am. Make sure to visit this classic establishment for home cooked breakfast. Admire the art as you dine. Id recommend the cheddar sausage potato cake with home fries. But thats just me. Enjoy hope you visit Maine.
The only way to describe this place is Covid confusion. They require masks and are only at half capacity in the bottom dining area, but are full capacity in the more crowded upper dining area. They also pack all the people waiting for a table in one tiny area right next to 2 tables of people eating. All this adds up to extra annoyance trying to be safe, but doing it so incorrectly that its actually a lot more dangerous than if they would just run business as usual. Covid confusion. Hopefully they will figure it out soon before the lost business shuts them down. Waited 1 hour for a table never got seated due to the level of confusion of whos next since they dont take down names.
Good food, nice waitstaff! We went there twice in our 4 day visit to Belfast ME. Homemade Blueberry muffins were great, and the omelets are just like I would make at home, but better because I didnt have to!
Bathroom was disgusting! They are worried about wearing masks, but the bathroom is a horrible science experiment! I would never have eaten there if I would have used the bathroom first. I actually didnt use it because it was so gross, I didnt want to touch anything in there🤢🤮🥴🤯
Always a great breakfast here, the pancakes are amazing. The atmosphere is part diner, part country kitchen, and always a comfortable place to be. The service is terrific and the folks here are attentive and prompt. You cant go wrong picking Tracis for breakfast.
Went 4 times. Great place. A little gem in the rough. Attentive staff and very Covid aware.
A great place for lunch. Everything is so good.
Loved the all day breakfast!! Brandy was the most attentive and nicest waitress you could ask for!!! Great place to eat! I will be back!
Went in on a fairly warm day and the main part of restaurant was so hot, I almost walked out, but there was another part that was cooler, so I stayed. The food was ok and it really needs a good cleaning in there.
Very nice place. Had the eggs benedict with lobster. It was delicious. The server was very friendly. Would go back.
Fun place. Good plain food.
The crab Benedict, and crab roll were spectacular, I had a crab roll.with my veggie omelet, yes alot of food, but with it, so good. You should stop here.
Waited 40 minutes for admittance.......not worth the wait. Mediocre food at best.
Attentive wait staff. Good food.
Cute place, good food, good prices. Friendly staff. Very accommodating!!
Amazing!! Delicious!! Hometown diner that readily welcomes vacationers. Went for breakfast and had the Lobster Benedict - it was absolutely the best breakfast I have ever had in my entire life!! Dreamy, rich, amazingly balanced, and chock full of good quality lobster! If you are only going to eat one breakfast in town, it has to be this!!
It was.pk, thats the best I can do
Authentic Mexican food and family. Great service. Great atmosphere.
Service was great even with just two to three people serving and for as many people that were there, and the food was excellent
Always the best home-cooked breakfast you can get at a restaurant
Very popular. Friendly waitress and great service . Tasty breakfast. Like the skins on home fries.
Fabulous food and great wait staff!! Cheeseburger club and fries was enough for 2!!
This is a local, mom & pop style cafe. Its exactly what we like when traveling since we enjoy diners that the locals would choose rather than touristy, upscaled menus. If we resided in Belfast, ME, this would be our place.
Good solid diner style restaurant. Their breakfasts are especially good American diner style food.
Great food. Friendly staff.
Time to lose the masks folks, but the food was pretty good
We had a great breakfast here. The food and service was great.
A busy place this time of year, however; great and friendly service and very good food.
Tracis never disappoints! Each time Ive been, the staff has been courteous, and the food has been perfect. Im always full when I leave, and everything is decently priced. Highly recommend.
A genuine diner with good prices, great food, and quick service.
Quaint little diner, good food and service.
Excellent breakfast, and service was perfect. Ill be looking forward to doing Tracis again when I get back to Belfast
Wow. Straight forward fare done so right. Dont miss the Lobster Benedict as it was superb. Even the ice tea is brewed properly, something that is missed by so many others. We are still exploring the food scene in wonderful Belfast having just moved to mid-coastal Maine, the Lobster mecca. Remember my motto, A lobster a day cooked any way!
Great breakfast and service. Loved the toasted biscuits.
Great Food Very Nice And Friendly
2 gal standing. Service outstanding. And the tea is something to die for
Super friendly staff, quick service, excellently prepared breakfast.
Breakfast is easy to s rew up but here, they dont! Plenty of tasty food and decent prices. Pam was our waitress and was fantastic!
Delicious breakfast! Great service, Love the location and being able to look at the water from a booth.
Yummy food, cute little spot, great menu selection
I love this place, have for years. It is the best breakfast place in the area (in my opinion of course). Laid back dining atmosphere with unique art plastered on the walls, plus great views of our charming little town and the wait staff are always smiling and friendly. I highly recommend
My food was okay however my husband was disappointed in his order, omelet was more like a scramble and the fake cheese was awful.
They provide basic comfort meals, for breakfast and lunch.
Try the sausage and cheddar potato cakes topped with sausage gravy and eggs. Get there early or wait for a seat.
My sunny side eggs came scrambled & the home fries looked like the had been done in a FryOLator.
Food wasnt cooked all the way. The waitresses were so awesome but the cook isnt so good. Not a big fan.
Always a good place to go for breakfast and lunch in Belfast.
I really like the haddock fish & chips. This was a small and was plenty!
Very good food, fantastic prices, nice atmosphere, and incredibly outstanding service. Would highly recommend this establishment
I go here every Thursday. They are always welcoming and pleasant.
Perfect food! Perfect service! Perfect diner experience!
Breakfast was delicious. My Mom and I love this place. The homefries were perfectly cooked.
Great food great people
Everything was excellent.
Been going there forever. Love the food and the staff treat me with total respect. Five star from me.
