My family has been going here for years, but lately, the service is just not what it used to be. I highly recommend not paying them until you pick your products up and make sure your service is complete. I paid ahead of time and then upon pickup, only half of the service was complete and they said it would cost an additional price on top of what I had already paid. After finally receiving my finished product, I was not pleased with their work. Please don’t pay until you receive your finished product and are happy with the job.

Excellent craftsmanship and honest, top-notch customer service! In today’s word it’s damn hard to find individuals who have applied themselves to become outstanding at their craft, and I am pleased to have found this shop. I’ve had boots repaired and shoes resoled here, and am consistently impressed by the quality of their work. Can’t say enough great things about this business.

I had a pair of boots repaired and a zipper fixed on another pair. The work done on the boots was very professional. They even shined the leather boots without me asking. I was treated well on the phone when I called and treated well at the establishment. I recommend this place.

I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS!!! I almost cried leaving this place and I’m not even a dramatic person though this post just HAD TO BE. I brought in 2 pairs. A pair of Christian Louboutins and Giuseppe Zanottis. I needed a simple repair of the Heel Tips. I called a week in a half later and they had not even started on them. The front desk gentleman who speaks very uneducated with no type of mannerism ( who instead of saying thank you for calling bye, he says peace) smh. Anyway irrelevant other than poor customer service skills. He then tells me he would call me back after he couldn’t even find my ticket, never heard back. So I called him after 2 hours. Then tells me his boss is gone and he didn’t want to call him. Keep in mind I’m already worried by Designer shoes are not safe at this place. I call back next day and he tells me they’ll be ready by 4pm . I called at 3:40 just to double check before leaving work and I drive to this location to pay $40.00 for some simple work. I would pay all the money in the work to get a repair but at this point it was not about money it was about unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and untrained staff. Value and customer service beats price any day but this place can be in business for however many years they want but it’s reputation may change soon. It’s a joke. I recommend looking close at what’s hurting your business because you definitely lost my business!

I’ve been very satisfied with their workmanship over 20+ years of relying on great service. Remarkably short turnaround and will do repairs on the spot if need be.

Been a customer for 5+ years now and my mom was for years before me 😂😂 so I’ve always trusted them. Bought a pair of red wings 7ish years ago had them put a leather slip down the back because the waterproof liner had become detached from the leather and started ripping. Then my soles literally dry rotted off and they were able to replace them with the same vibram soles. Now they’re doing a wallet for me out of Gator!!!! Will never go anywhere else and neither should you.

I dropped my favorite pair of suede booties off here, initially just to have the heel stub repaired. Seeing that they were worn and discolored they also said (for a $6) charge that they could recondition the suede. I am beyond thrilled with the way my shoes look now! Almost new! They also fixed some of the nicks in the patent leather heel. Will definitely be taking my shoes here from now on

Very friendly, excellent service, and excellent work. They replaced heels and leather soles of a pair of relatively expensive boots I wear every day, and their work was fantastic. The soles they put on are higher quality than the originals. Oh, and they gave the boots a fantastic shine. Will definitely be going back. When I was there, I saw several obviously regular customers. Its obvious why they have been in business for so long.

Over the past 6 years Ive taken a variety of items to Bellaire Shoe Repair. Not only do they perform top quality repairs, but the prices are surprisingly low. Ive recommended this shop to several friends who have all later thanked me for the advice.

I brought in 4 pairs of shoes that were in HORRIBLE shape--im talking flapping soles, scraped leather at the toe, socks peeking through, heel caps fell off and heels worn down from neglect.I bought them in, and Jason and his crew not only fixed them to look better than when I bought them, but did so ahead of schedule. Highly recommend.

The most nostalgic and experienced shoe repair store in houston! You have to love Andy and his family. Had new soles put on a pair of Sidi racing boots for my motorcycle. Turned out great, and they even polished my boots! They looked BETTER than new. Highly recommended!

Not happy at all and go elsewhere. You are wasting your time and money! I came in to have the zipper of my boots fixed and was told to come on tuesday. I came in on Wednesday and he could not find my boots. I was told to come back on Friday, which I did, and yet, he could not find my boots either. I told him that I was very unhappy because I am living the country the following monday for good, and I needed my boots to pack them. He told me to come back on Saturday, but I replied that I come here by bus and right now I need to clean and empty my place! He said, we will call you first thing on Saturday morning (today) and we will deliver them to you. I just give them a phone call and they still do not know where my boots are!!!! This is a shame, because I have the feeling that they do NOT CARE AT ALL! I certainly do not feel a valued customer. I told him that if my boots are not ready, find them and give me my money back! This is not worth the trouble! Note that he never offer to fix my boots for free, despite the trouble! At this point, I only hope that I will get my boots back!!!

Ive always liked the work Bellaire Shoe Repair does but NOT now. I took two pair of Dansko shoes in and paid $45 for each pair to have them resoled. This was a lot but the shoes were in excellent condition except each heel was wearing down on one side- this after having the shoes probably two years.After they were resoled by Bellaire Shoe Repair and I wore one pair less than 10 times, the heels are already half as bad as they got in two years before. When I took them back they said Id have to pay more to have them fixed again. To me this was not good customer service and I wont be back! A good business guarantees there work!
