Dena helped me with my wedding dress from start to finish! She was patient, not pushy or trying to sell me something I did not love. Dena worked with me to altar the dress, make small changes, and get it exactly how I wanted it. She is kind, quick to respond, honest, and I would recommend this Bridal Shop to anyone!! I went into this place to look around. The staff was friendly and helpful. only two dresses stood out to me One was my pick and the other pick was from my future husband. I tried them both on and fell in love with the one my hubby picked. It was the perfect fit! Its like it was made for me. The dress came from the bridal extravaganza show and I was told no one else has been able to fit this gown. They called the designer and gave us a great deal on the dress and the veil. I left there one lucky happy bride to be.
Don’t go here! I was so excited to go dress storing for the first time with my bridesmaids and it was a horrible experience. Customer service was non existence. Every bride wants to feel surprise on the day and find the right dress. Every dress that I tried on and didn’t like the salesperson was like “oh it’s because the price is too high.” My response was no I just didn’t like the dress. Instead of helping me find a dress she criticized me and my guests throughout the fitting. We didn’t finish trying on dresses, we just left. No one wants to stand around getting picked on and ridiculed. If you are on a limited budget this is not the store for you. I had a reasonably average price tag and they were not accommodating at all.
Service rep was not helpful at all. Told her budget and looked shocked that we came in at all and couldn’t accommodate. Told her sizes and still just looked at us and didn’t try to help. Our friend was trying to find the dress of her dreams, and we were even willing to increase the budget, and it really helps when you have service rep that knows what they’re doing and can help you find the dress you are looking for, it makes for a great experience. Highly disappointed in the service and I highly don’t recommend this place
At my first appointment, she was helping someone else at the same time, so I felt rushed. Great selection of dresses and veils. I do feel like I paid more than my dress was worth after looking online. My veil was a great price! Rose, the associate I worked with was lovely.Also, there was a good number of plus size dresses to try on!!However don’t believe them when they say the dress will be a custom fit. They took my measurements and I lost 5lbs after. The dress would not close. It ripped It was so tight. I spent $400 elsewhere on alterations.
Loved the experience. The girls and the owner are so enthusiastic. They were patient, very helpful and gave good reviews for each dress. Their energy reflected on their faces making it fun to shop. We had six appointments, we canceled the rest we found and bought our dress here.

Rose was super sweet, I had to think about if we grew up together she was that much into me. I loved how she picked up on my style. She took pictures and held the phone when I had my family and best friend on Facetime. She is very good at what she does. The actual store was hard to find because it is in small setting in which I did not notice any directions. Over all clean and a good experience.
This place is really good at selling you on your dreams. At first they were super nice and extremely helpful. I cannot deny they did take their time to go through every different style until I found the one that fit my body type. They asked me to pay in full because according to Rose my dress would not come in time because it would be considered a “custom order” ( I purchased it in April and my wedding was in October). When the dress came it did not fit. They couldn’t give me proper explanation for the reason this happen, they were trying to blame me that I gain weight( even though I had lost weight from the time I bought it to the time I tried it on). They said they could fix anything, which they did, but all the alterations ended up costing me about 3/4 the price of what I paid for the dress. Towards my final fitting the seamstress, Dana, told me when they order a dress the manufacture sends them the size but since all ladies have different body types so there is different things they will have to alter. Which makes sense, but I had paid for a custom dress to be made to my measurements, not a general size. I found it pointless at this point to argue since I had already spent so much money towards it. Btw I still ended up wearing the dress that fit me big to my wedding. Overall this was the worst experience through out the whole planning of my wedding. I would not recommend, you can find the similar styles at Ventura’s for a better experience and lower cost.
I believe they have a large selection of dresses but when I went for my appointment I wasnt able to walk around and look. She asked me some questions and pulled options, which was fine but being one of the first places I went to try on gowns I would have liked to browse. The girl who helped me was very nice and listened to my feedback.

This place has horrible service!! They close at 6 pm during the holiday season. I get off of work at 4pm and I arrived at 5:20. The lady then told me to come back tomorrow to look at dresses because they close at 6. I was only going to LOOK at dress designs but the lady didnt even give me a chance because I arrived 40 mins before closing time and practically kicked me out the store. I do not recommend this place at all.
The older Hispanic lady was really rude, and kept insisting us on buying a veil that wasnt even the same color as the dress. Buying a dress is hard already but she was very demanding and every time we asked a question; I kid you not, she would throw it back at us and add and didnt you understand what I just told you? Or a are you not listening at the end of everything. The only reason Im giving it 2 stars was because the seamstress was so lovely.

My wedding dress arrived from Hong Kong 2 sizes too small. So my choice is to return it and find a new one or get it alterated to fit me. I chose the latter and she was wonderful. Dropped my dress off on Friday and she had it fixed by Tuesday. The alteration is perfect you cant tell the dress wasnt made that way to begin with. $165 (tax included) and my dress was expanded and a corset put in. She is very friendly and easy to work with. She is open from 11am - 7pm perfect to get in if you are working.
Let me start by saying that the overall experience was good. Rose, the sales consultant, is very knowledgeable and great to work with. I ordered my gown in July and it took 6 months to get it since it was going to be made to my measurements. Here is when I encountered the first issue. When my dress came in, it needed some minor alterations. It needed to be hemmed a little bit and I had lost some weight, so it had to be taken it a little bit. So they sent me to their alterations lady who quoted me $500 plus tax to do this! My dress was $2,000 and was made for me! It was ridiculous to spend that much on alterations on a dress that was made for me to begin with. I ended up taking my dress somewhere else where they charged me $100 and they did an amazing job. Also, I ordered my moms dress from them. The dress she chose was a one shoulder look. However, since mom is very conservative, we ordered an extra sleeve to add it to the dress. When we received the dress and the extra sleeve, it turns out they didnt send a sleeve. They just sent an extra piece of fabric that had nothing to do with what he had ordered. Then they said that the company didnt make extra sleeves for that type of dress and we were stuck with the plain fabric. I tried to return it since it wasnt what we needed, and they would not take it back. The amazing part is that Rose knew they sent us the wrong item, she knew that they messed up, but she couldnt do anything about it. I kept calling to speak to the manager and out of the sudden the manager, who is the only person authorized to give a refund is out on vacation. So I ended up with a useless piece of fabric that they wouldnt take back. Luckily, the person who did the alterations on my dress did and amazing job at coming up with an alternative for my moms dress and it all worked out for me.Sad that they are getting a bad review over a simple mistake that would have cost them $25 had they given me my money back :(

Avoid this place at all cost! One of the sales people, Rose, is very manipulative and will tell you anything to make a sale. I went to the Bridal Depot with an open mind and the idea that I would just try on a few dresses without buying. I happen to find a Justin Alexander dress I really liked, but wasn’t ready to buy. I asked Rose how much the dress cost because they don’t have price tags on any of their dresses and she told me $2400. When I told her that was out of my price range, she said they had a coupon for $1000 off that was expiring that day. She also told me that the dress would be custom made to fit my measurements so I’d save money on alterations, and would even come with a free veil worth $380. When I was still hesitant about buying, she told me that I could return the dress if I changed my mind and was willing to give me as much time as I needed. It all sounded too good to be true but I really liked the dress and wasn’t ready to walk away from the deal so I ended up buying it.Shortly after this encounter, I went dress shopping at Ventura’s and after telling them about the deal I got at bridal depot, they told me I had been lied to, that the dress Rose claimed cost $2400 really only costs $1600 and that it’s common for the bridal depot to pretend there’s some special deal or coupon expiring that day to pressure you into buying. They also told me that Justin Alexander does not do custom work and that all their dresses come in standard sizes. To top it off, I found the exact same veil that Rose claimed cost $380 for $200 elsewhere... I was outraged! Literally everything that came out of Rose’s mouth was a lie and it didn’t end there. I called Rose 2 weeks after I purchased the dress to ask for a refund and she told me “no problem. “ I didn’t bother explaining that I knew she had lied to me about the dress because I just wanted my money back. Every time I would call her to check on the status of the dress, she would tell me “I’m waiting for email confirmation,” or “it’s pending.” Three weeks after I first requested a refund, Rose told me, “Corporate is going to call you so you can explain why you want to return the dress. They didn’t believe me when I told them you wanted time to decide and they want to know why you took so long. They should call you today or tomorrow but call me back if you don’t hear from them.” Um… are you kidding me? At this point I knew I was getting the run-around and that Rose most likely had no intention of refunding my money. Who should have to defend themselves to “corporate”?! I disputed the charge with my credit card company and thankfully they refunded my money and handled the situation. Seriously, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

My daughter, a people pleaser, purchased a dress then went to the car where I knew something was wrong. She said she didnt like the dress so within 15 minutes we were back inside and Rose proceeded to tell us there was nothing she could do. She asked us to call Dana the next day. Dana had the same story. Not sure what our next step will be but this is ridiculous! You cant tell me the dress was already being made within 15 minutes of the purchase!! And even if the first few cuts had been made....so what!

Do not go here!. If I could give a negative star I would.What a horrible experience. Weddings are stressful enough but the incompetence and lies here tripled the stress. I ordered the dress in February (for a September wedding) without trying out on because it was not in stock. They promised I could return it is it did not fit right or if I didnt like for a full refund. Thank God they put it on the receipt.I came in on a Saturday in early February and they measured me explaining that the dress would be specifically for my measurements so I could avoid needing a tailor. I was told the dress would come in in June. June came and went. No dress. I emailed, 2 times to check on status. No response. July 8- I called. It became clear during the phone call that the dress had never been ordered. They were then going to charge me a rush fee to get the dress in. They did back of that. The dress finally arrived in the beginning of August (remember it was a September 4 wedding). It was huge and essentially looked like it was wearing me.Luckily, they had a dress hanging in the store that worked. It fit perfectly. They then said the new dress cost exactly the amount of the old dress. We looked on line and found the same dress. It was a discontinued model that was hundreds of dollars cheaper. I was shocked that they were going to charge the same amount. They finally backed down and sold it to me for the price on line. Then they informed me that my original dress was non refundable. I had to argue with them about theirs and reminded then that they receipt said fully refundable. After much discussion they did refund it.There were several minor fixes needed to the new dress. I also ordered a veil which they carefully measured. They said they would have the veil and repairs done by the following weekend) two weeks out from the wedding). I arrived to pick them up and the veil was 12 inches too long and the dress had not been repaired. At that time I finally lost it. I started to cry. They assured me that it would all be fixed within an hour. I left for an hour and a half. Finally, it was done and I had my dress and veil.Again, I do not want anyone to have to go through what I went through. Do not use Bridal Depot!!!!!

Worst retail experience that I have ever had! Please AVOID this place! Dana and her sales person Dora are the two shadiest people I have ever dealt with. My wedding dress came in the wrong color. Dana claimed the designer sent the wrong color so she had to send it back and get the correct one. When the correct one came in, it had a torn piece of lace that was patched with a discolored piece. Long story short, she never returned the other dress and took two pieces of two different dresses and wanted to sell it to me like it was new from the designer. This was confirmed by the designer when I called them myself because I knew Maggie Sotterro would never send a dress in that condition with damages. Dana, the manager refused to give me a refund (after finally admitting what she had done ) of my deposit and only offered a small discount. PLEASE DO NOT do business with this place. I wish I had listened to the reviews that I saw before I made my purchase.
Found my dream dress at this place...Rose was very patient and helpful and gave good advice and suggestions...when I first came in I thought it was a bit pricey for me but she was nice enough to show me what was within my budget and gave suggestions...needless to say I found my dream dress on the one she suggested....she really listens and pays attention to what you want and I can tell she enjoys helping future to be brides...I would recommend to anyone...at least take a look...they have beautiful dresses compared to other places I went

I wish that I could give Bridal Depot negative stars to help other brides avoid it. DON’T GO HERE. This was the most stressful part of my entire wedding, and I was still dealing with them even after my wedding was done. First off, be wary of their sales tactics. They operate like a used car dealership. Do not let them upsell you on something you’re not certain about, and definitely get it in writing if they promise you can return anything. This happened to me with a veil and they gave me the runaround all the way up to and through my wedding date, and it took constant badgering and finally threatening them before I got my promised refund. They are horrible at scheduling or communicating in general. Rose is the only one who has any idea what’s going on, and that’s not a compliment. I was so worried that my dress would not be ready in time for my wedding I was literally sick. It took two weeks of leaving messages for Rose before I finally heard back from them on a timeline for my dress. She told me during this call that my dress would be completed in January, two months before my wedding. So you can imagine my frustration when I was standing in Bridal Depot, less than two WEEKS from my wedding, and the dress was still not ready. They lost my belt, and ordering a new one was a stressful, last-minute ordeal. Alterations were a nightmare. Dana ultimately did a good job, but getting there was extremely stressful. First, Rose’s team didn’t measure me correctly (no height measurement? Seriously?) Then they surprised me by tacking on extra charges (about $200) for the alterations they had led me to believe would be included. The shadiest part of that is when I argued some of those extra charges, suddenly they started giving me freebies. I was happy with my dress in the end, and Dana wound up being very helpful, but the experience was much more complicated and stressful than it needed to be.Weddings are crazy, expensive ordeals. Bridal Depot should be all about helping brides. Instead, they use sneaky tactics in an attempt to take advantage of their customers. From me having to call for weeks leaving messages before hearing back from them, to driving up there for dress fittings with a dress that isn’t mine, to fighting for SIX MONTHS to get a refund on that stupid veil, I am convinced you would be better served going just about anywhere else. Bridal Depot is an unprofessional, disorganized, and shady place, staffed with some smiling, fast-talking workers trying to bleed you for as much money as they can. RUN.

Looked all over Houston for formal gloves to wear with my evening gown. To my surprise, almost no store carried them. And if they did have them they cost over $100! So when I called Bridal Depot and found out that they had them, to say I was relieved is an understatement. Speedy service and only $35 later, I was back on I10 headed home. This kind of convince is hard to find. And on Black Friday too!!
Ask for Rose when you go. She is the BEST person to work with there. She goes above and beyond to help any bride! She has been the biggest help out of anyone else there.

Horrible customer service! I had 4 bridal appointments on Saturday and this was the worst one! We were there 20 mins at the most. The bridal consultant Dory it Dora (she was never with us long enough to know her name) When we got there she told us to look around and let her know if we needed anything. Like seriously??!? We spent $0 there! So thankful we were able to go down the street and find exactly what were looking for with great service!

I came here as my first bridal shop that was not Davids Bridal. I was a little skeptical walking in because the building looked so old and there was no other customers there. I was immediately greeted by 2 cheerful ladies when I got into the bridal shop. I cannot remember her name but the young lady that helped me was extremely helpful! She got an idea of my price range and style I wanted and told me to look around and pick dresses I liked while she did the same. She got me set up in the dressing room with about 10 dresses to try on when I thought there was nothing there for me. LOL! She helped me try on dress after dress and helped me style the dresses as if I were getting ready for my actual wedding! This was something way different than I experienced at Davids Bridal because the ladies at Davids Bridal didnt help me see how the dress would look the day of my wedding and didnt share the same excitement as me. When I got down to my top 2 picks she explained the pricing, discounts, and payment plans to me and gave me my options to think about as I tried on my top 2 dresses an additional 2 times each. She was very patient with me. I am soooo happy to say I found the one at this bridal shop!! I would suggest anyone to put this shop on your list to visit:)

This store has to be the worse bridal store EVER! First of all, I will like to make it clear that if you can ever avoid this bridal store, pleaseee for your sanity and happiness AVOID IT! Wedding planning is so stressful that you literally dont need additional headache.Trust me, this is my first ever writing a review about anything in my 29yrs of living so far.I placed an order for a wedding dress in February, 2017. I was told I have to pay 50% of the dress the same day which I did and 59% when the dress arrives . Ms Rose then measured me and all. Ms. Rose was super helpful and all. Shes nice, cheer you and all but I think the entire store is a joke.After making the first 50% payment, I was then informed that the order will take almost 4month. Towards the end of June 2017 Rose called me that the dress came in, I went in to try the dress on and went home absolutely sad because the fitting was absolutely horrible. Prior to leaving, I was taken to an alteration place on the 2nd floor called Dana Alteration to fix it, Ms Dana charged me $55 to fix my loose sleeve and burst line. I was told that my dress will be ready before she travels to Vietnam and all. Fast forward to one week before the wedding, In August. I called Ms Rose that I will be coming to pick the dress and had told her to order a viel for me. I clearly mentioned that I want a blusher and she states that they would provide the veil and blusher at half price which she charged for $280.37. Just earlier today I went to bridal depot to fit the dress, try the viel on and all, the veil which was missing the blusher by the way . I then realize that the color and the contrast of the actual dress did not blend. I decided not to take the veil there and I was told I couldnt leave work my dress thAt has been fully paid for until I pay for the viel. It was a mess, when I mean a mess? It was a total mess. There comes this very absolutely ridiculous, very rude man named Greg as I was told that was his name, he was a very miserable looking man. It was claimed that he owns the business and all. He clearly told me to walk out of the store without my dress that I have fully paid given to me. I resisted and the police was involved. Even after the police came, the man was still rude that the officer had to tell him that thy are doing their job. The officers listened to our story on both ends and clearly said how will you tell someone to leave without their dress that has been paid for. He even told the police officer to leave and they had to tell him we were called in to see what the problem was, so you cant tell us to leave. He absolutely was a crazy miserable man that needs a psych eval.ATTN brides, please your wedding dress should not cause you to be angry and upset. No store should threaten you with calling police upon charging such huge amount of $ ok your dress. No one should ever make you feel like pulling your hair out on a dress you have fully paid for. If you dont want stress and disappointment for yourself. Please AVOID this place.
AVOID THIS STORE PLEASE! The entire experience was a NIGHTMARE. We ordered a Mori Lee gown and we were told that as a matter of fact that was the last day to order that dress if we wanted it to arrive in time for the wedding (6 months later), mind you this was the middle of June. The bride panicked because she’d fallen in love with the gown and was afraid she wouldn’t get it in time so we went ahead and ordered it.Rose, who seems very nice at first is the most dishonest person I’ve ever encountered. She told us she would have the dress RUSHED and ordered at custom length at no cost, but I had a bad feeling about her so as soon as we left I started calling around for prices on this same gown.I spoke to a very nice lady at Ventura’s and she told me “unfortunately you’ve been lied to. This specific gown by Mori Lee is what they call quick delivery gown. It will be shipped from 6 to 8 weeks. Therefore standard shipping for this gown is estimated early September. Never will this dress take 6 month to arrive. And as far as the length, there’s no such thing as her waiving a custom length fee. This gown comes in 3 different lengths and we order the one that’s closest to the bride’s height.”I was infuriated but we played it smart and called Rose the next day and told her we had found the same gown (for a cheaper price) at a different boutique. At this point we gave her two options, cancel our order or lower the price. She tried to fight it at first but then she asked for the email as proof of what we were saying. We faxed and emailed her over and over and every time she would claim she hadn’t received anything. Finally we had to go see her in person and have it out with her. She was extremely rude and to top it all off when the gown finally came in, IT WAS THE WRONG GOWN!!! For once she did the right thing and fixed the order and the correct gown came in 6 weeks later, WOW what happened to 6 months?!?!She also made several remarks about the bride’s weight and insinuated that the gown might not fit her once it came in. Her opinion was never asked for and her remarks were uncalled for. She also claims to be the owner but I’m pretty sure she’s not; she’s just been there a while. This is just what they tell people so they won’t fight it like we did. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND FROM HER!!
They dont put the prices on the the tags and then they ask you what your budget is before they tell you the price of the item so they can tell you the price is rightt below whatever you said. They just try to pull one over on you. Also they didnt seem like they knew anything about their collections when I asked questions they had to search everything in the computer.

This store is a blunder.JUST HATED THE EXPERIENCE. RIGHT FROM THE MANAGER TO ALL THE EMPLOYEES, ROSE TO BE SPECIFIC AND OTHER PEOPLES NAME I DONT KNOW, ARE JUST A BUNCH OF LIARS TRYING TO LOOT YOUR MONEY. THIS STORE DOESNT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR. I HAVE BEENCHEATED. THEY SELL USED GOWNS BUT MAKE YOU WAIT AS IF THEY ARE ORDERING YOU A NEW GOWN. WHATEVER THEY ORDER IS FOR THIER STORE TO ADVERTISE BUT WHAT YOU GET IS THE OLD STUFF JUST DRY CLEANED AND PACKED. I WENT TO PURCHASE A GOWN BUT THEY TOLD ME TO COME BACK IN THREE WEEKS AND THAT THEY WILL ORDER ME A NEW GOWN. I PAID THE FULL AMOUNT.AND WHEN I CAME TO COLLECT MY GOWN I KNEW SOMETHING WASNT RIGHT. SURE ENOUGH THEY TRIED TO PUSH THE OLD PIECE BUT CHARGED ME FOR A NEW GOWN. THE GOWN HAD HAIR IT IN, DUST, WRINKLES AND WHAT NOT. PLEASE CHECK YOUR PRODUCT BEFORE TAKING IT HOME. FOR GOD SAKE AVOID THIS BOGUS STORE AS FAR AS POSSIBLE. USE YOUR MONEY WISE SO YOU GET THE BEST FOR YOUR MONEY. JUST HATE THIS STORE AND ALL ITS EMPLOYEES..JUST A BUNCH OF LIARS. PLEASE AVOID.ALL THE EMPLOYEES HAVE A SWEET TONGUE AND CAN FOOL YOU WITH THEIR TALK. AND NEVER PAY THE FULL AMOUNT WHEN THEY ORDER YOU THE GOWN. I DID THAT MISTAKE NOW I DONT EVEN GET A REFUND. SUCH A RUDE AND ARROGANT MANAGER I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO FAR.

AVOID THIS STORE PLEASE! The entire experience was a NIGHTMARE. My daugther ordered a Maggie Sottero dress and it came late. Rose, who seems very nice was not at all honest. She made my daugther switch her name to my name on the fitting appointment (I dont know why) and the she said we can have a dress the next month. She said she was going to take the dress from another client that was supposed to be ship that month and ours was going to be given to the other client because that wedding was not until August. Well, let me tell you, I had my doubts about the dress. She finally told me that the dress was ready in June, however, I had a feeling that something was wrong with the dress. Sure enough, the dress was torn from the hem as if it had been worn. The dress had thread coming from the front of the dress, and was stain. I know FOR SURE this was NOT A NEW DRESS. Then they told me to come back on July 5 for another dress. The dress seem OK but still had my doubts. I bought a tiara and veil from them as well. I wish I had not. I understand that they are trying to make a profit but to sell me a Tiara for $200 and found the same original Tiara from the vendors website at $59.00 was a dissapointment. HOWEVER, my problems did not END there. I was upsad about the entire experience and I tried to get my rush order money back and return the Tiara. The manager was calling me EXAGERATING and since HE does not know anything about wedding expereince. After discussion and agrument, I agreed to the not returning the TIARA, but I wanted the $150 Rush order money back since the dress was not delivered when it was supposed to and we missed the BRIDAL portrail. THE MANAGER WAS VERY RUDE. HE DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE ENTIRE WEDDING EXPERIENCE. MY daugther (5 months pregnant) was VERY DISTRESS and when the manager finally gave me a check for the $150, I was trying to leave the store and I old a customer that was there and experience the entire thing, not to order anything from them. THE MANAGER WAS SO RUDE, TRIED TO SNATCH THE CHECK FROM ME AND POINTED AT MY DAUGTHER, FRIEND AND ME TO LEAVE THE STORE. HE THREATENED US AND AS WE WALKED OUT THE ELEVATOR, HE WAS COMING DOWN TO US AS IF HE WAS GOING TO HARM US. NEGATIVE NEGATIVE NEGATIVE WEDDING BRIDAL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE. MY NAME IS GABRIELA RODRIGUEZ.
