Was referred by a friend several years ago. My family will never go to another eye place. Friendly staff and doctors that are very thorough. They take their time making sure any and all questions/concerns have been answered. They also have a deep scan machine available to monitor and compare scans when you return each year. Its great peace of mind knowing we have a place to go that truly takes care of my families vision needs.

My wife and I have been using BFEC for many years. On my most recent visit, I received an unexpected & outstanding result! I was experiencing slight pain in the eye where I wear one contact lens, something I’ve done for years. I received a speedy appointment and service which showed that, somehow, I had put on a contact lens without removing the one still on! Getting older, 74, maybe forgetful, too. The technician carefully removed the 2 piggyback lenses on the same eye, and I was relieved, and a bit embarrassed. It was a No Charge visit & I will be very careful now with take-out & insertion of my contacts. Thanks again for your great service!

We love Bellaire Family eye center. My 8 year old sees Dr. Moore and Dr. Tucker. They’re both very knowledgeable and will answer all your questions. This is a top notch place for your vision. I drive 45 minutes- 1 hr to get here, but it’s all worth it!! My son will soon start vision therapy and we’re happy that we finally found a place that understood my son’s needs and explained his needs to us. My son is wearing contacts now and he’s so happy. My whole family will start coming here too. The whole staff is kind, professional and knowledgeable!!

She spent time to examine and understand the problem and talked to us in detail about the treatment options. No wonder she comes so highly recommended. I drive from the Northside of town for my doctors visit and it is well worth it! Dr. Moore is awesome! She is a miracle worker if you have problematic eyes such as myself! The staff is very professional and the office is beautiful decorated.

My young kids see Dr. Moore and she is amazing with them. She takes interest in the kids, she is so kind and patient with them and makes them feel comfortable. I had RK surgery years ago and have struggled with vision issues ever since. correcting my vision has always been difficult, sometimes impossible.Evidently Dr. Tucker likes a challenge! It took a while but she actually found contacts that I can tolerate!! She is extremely knowledgeable, super friendly and relatable, takes her time and listens. She personally and quickly replies to emails. The staff is great as well, and I’m always seen within five minutes. They are doing everything right!!

Bel Air Family Eye Care has truly been a sight saver for my husband. Before we found them and they’re wonderful, knowledgeable staff there wasn’t much hope that he would ever drive again. With the therapy treatments, the encouragement to keep up the “homework” and the positivity they have shown him we now have not just hope that he might drive again, but we are looking forward to the day he will drive again! They are excellent at what they do, and I would highly recommend them to anyone, young or old no matter what is going on with their vision, it’s definitely worth a visit to see if they can help.

My family and I have been patients at Bellaire Family Eye Care for many years, and I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful clinic! Dr. Voss and the entire team are amazing. The level of service, professionalism and dedication to providing individualized and complete eye care cannot be matched. When I moved to another state and went to an eye clinic there, I called Dr. Voss in tears because the experience with the clinic I went to was awful. We drive 4 hours round trip for our son to work with Jonathan from Xtreme Vision. His sports training/vision program has been vital for him to play next level baseball.

We have been treated by the Dr. voss gang since the kids were little and now they are teens. They do not over prescribe lenses and they are excellent in myopic treatment for teens. I trust them with my kids and my vision.

My annual eye exam was amazingly thorough. The staff are gracious, friendly, and skilled at their work. Dr. Voss has an excellent “bed side manner”, so personal and easy to relate to.Now I know that my problems are just developing and may never be a problem. We had a very helpful and informative discussion to help me decide about how to deal in the future with problems like glasses versus special lens when and if my cataracts get unacceptable. I also now know that my macular are healthy, no degeneration.Although my prescription did change, Dr. Voss judged that I would not get enough benefit with new lenses- recommended waiting till next years exam.Plus, while waiting before being called to an examining room, Basil adjusted my frames including my spare which fixed problems caused by having bumped my glasses while working. The results were wonderful. They are the best.My understanding is that Dr. Voss is unusually skilled. I have been treated by her since the early 1990’s. Eye injuries, scratches, optical migraines- always well taken care of.No reservation about recommending Bellaire Family Eye Care!

Wonderful clinic full of great people. Dr. Voss took the time to thoroughly examine me after experiencing neurological symptoms and vision problems from a mold exposure in a home we lived in. She has extensive knowledge and the perfect way of delivering that information to a patient so they can understand what is happening with their body. She was able to pin point the problems Im dealing with by extensive testing and now we have a therapy solution that I plan to start next month. Its been a long road to find doctors who can give me answers for the troubling symptoms that bother me daily. Dr. Voss is the perfect doctor if you want answers, expert care, and wonderful bedside manner. Her therapy staff and everyone working in the front are super awesome too. Cant recommend them enough! 10/10.

Dr. Marcia Moore was amazing with my son on the spectrum. The staff was calm and patient when he was anxious and not as cooperative. Dr. Moore patiently waited for my son to relax enough to perform any tests, and she was mobile when necessary since he didn’t want to sit in the chair. Dr. Moore was caring and understanding! We were referred to this office to see Dr. Marcia Moore for our 3 year old son by our pediatricians office and today was our first visit. I spent the past week debating in my head whether to keep this appointment for many reasons. The drive was long ( we live in Katy), my son had already been seen at another optometrist office close to our home and that was a disaster, and finally, because my 3 year old can be extremely difficult to handle and I could not imagine a trip to the eye doctor going well for him. I came in thinking yet again, I was going to be wasting money on a visit that was going to end up in disaster per my uncooperative son. However, when Dr.Moore walked in the exam room, to my utter surprise, she was able to do a good exam on my son without him crying or being in ANY distress! I was shocked. She was so kind and thorough in her exam and while explaining my sons condition and possible treatment options that we had regarding his condition and together we were able to come up with a plan regarding his care. I definitely feel like this trip was worth the drive, time, and money to see her! I make the trek to Bellaire to see our amazing pediatrician and I will be making the trip to follow up with her for my son as well! What an amazing doctor Bellaire Family Eye Care has here! My youngest child needed glasses and was a tough diagnosis...she took extra time during the exam to make sure things were done correctly and we had the right prescription.The opticians are fantastic! They are very friendly and knowledgeable. Bertha not only remembered my oldest daughter from the year before, but also her likes and dislikes! Melanie was happily willing to take the extra time to help me find light weight glasses and sunglasses that wouldn’t give me headaches.
