Vehicle ran hot, rolled into Town before midnight and mentioned the issue to the host at AmericInn. Upon checking out in the morning, I was given all the contact info for Jason. Called him before the shop opened, and he got me fixed and rolling by 10 am. LOVE the small town USA atmosphere, and the Fact that People genuinely CARE, and help you out. THANK YOU !!!!!

Wow—how come I can’t give a 6 star review? If so, Jason would surely get it. But the 5 star reviews he has were validated with my experience. We were traveling through the area and lost all power in our vehicle at 5 AM. We towed the vehicle 15 miles back to town and to White Star. Jason—despite having lots of other cars ahead of us—put our repair right to the front of the line. He competently began diagnosing potential reasons for the breakdown and eventually found our issue. He charged us an honest amount for labor and parts and we were on our way within hours. AMAZING!It was such a pleasant experience despite the stress of breaking down in the “middle of nowhere” (Belle Fourche is literally the middle of the USA And has a monument outside of town to prove it), wanting to get on our way to our hunting vacation in N. Dakota, and having some of our group still back at our breakdown point (we were in a 12 passenger van with a trailer too). THANK YOU Jason and his family for giving us such great service!

I heard about them from a coworker of mine. My car shut off while I was driving with my 4 year old son. I didnt know who to have the car towed to as Im new here. They were very nice when I called. The car was brought to them and Jason got it running. He read the codes for me, explained what could be wrong, etc. He took it on a test run for me to see if it would continue to have problems. I waited at the shop and talked with his sons who were very nice as well. Jason didnt charge me anything for his trouble. If my car has trouble again, Ill be taking it back to him. Very good service and communication.

While traveling through the area my brakes were slowly failing. After many calls to other mechanics it was suggested by one to see Jason and Dave at White Star. Dave correctly diagnosed that my vacuum pump was failing. They fit me in to their schedule without hesitation and Dave even allowed me to watch and ask questions while he made the necessary repairs. They are able, competent, and very knowledgeable. A family run business, these are very nice people. If youre ever in the area and need any work done dont hesitate to visit them, I highly recommend them. Thanks again for getting me back on the road!
