This place has great inventory and very friendly staff, They were able to find exactly what i needed. Prices were way below retail for the treadmill I bought.

Got a really good deal on a treadmill, couldnt find the same price anywhere else. The employee was really friendly and gave me a lot of options. Explained to me the pro and cons of the equipment. Really helpful.

Oh man... Kevin Shaw, the owner of Discount Fitness Pros... is absolutely terrible when it comes to keeping his word. I purchased a spin bike from him in May 2020. The bike that was given to me, was not the same one in the picture that was promised to me. It took him months to get me the bike after I purchased it and then having trim parts missing and the computer display broken was a huge let down. He also promised to add a weight rack in with the purchase. That didn’t come obviously.So I’ve been talking with Kevin through email and text to try and fix this... and the dude just tells you “yes of course I’ll send you and new one and fix it right away”... but then never does. This has been going ok back and forth for months. Pretty comical actually. The last message he said to send him an email to help remind him. No response to the email and still missing parts on this bike.Now i do understand that this is a discount fitness company and to not expect everything in perfect condition... however, to show a picture of the bike that I’ll be receiving, then obviously send me a different one with a broken computer, is just plain dishonest. Then to lead the customer on to think the parts are actually coming is twisted.Kevin Shaw... you messed up man.***update: Kevin text me saying sarcastically there is no way I’m getting anything else from them after the review. Then it was taken down. Be careful with these guys.

Excerpt from my Yelp review: Limited selection, darkly lit store and worst of all RUDE staff. They talk down on you as if you dont look like you lift weights. Kept interrupting me when I try to ask a question. All Im asking for is whether the bench has a missing part or add-on. I didnt need to know that its commercial-grade.Listen to your customers. Instead of trying to impress them or sell to them or chase them around social media for a bad review.

If I was able to give 0 stars I would but I cant. This was my first time at the store and the service was HORRIBLE. They make you feel like you dont matter. I do not recommend coming here. If you want to have a bad experience as a consumer, go to this store. There wasnt even a hi, thank you, or any manners. Do not come here.

Service and understanding what is needed was excellent.

Never been here before. It was the only place that had an inversion table in stock for pickup. We called ahead, and asked, they said they had one, never mentioned its the floor model.The unit was covered in dust, and there was rust all over it. Asked for discount, they would not give us one. I guess by discount they simply mean high priced used equipment.We ended up waiting half an hour while 3 employees tried to figure out if a customer who was picking up, had already paid or not. They didnt believe the customer even though he had receipt in hand.Their equipment is torn up, used up, and most of it is in shambles. Over priced for what they are selling, and frankly how they are still in business I dont know, if we ran our business like this we would be out of business within a few months.If you absolutely dont care about customer service and clean decent equipment this is your place. The worst customer experience I have had in a long time.[UPDATE]Response from vendor Shawn, sorry about your experience. You called us looking for a specific machine, we found and brought to our Bellflower for you within 24 hours. We apologize we were unable to clean it during this quick turnaround time...We are trying our best to get thousands of people home gyms during these times .This is an outright lie. I called them half an hour before I went to pickup the unit. They did not bring the unit from any other location (no way, no time), it was sitting in their filthy warehouse for a very long time, untouched gathering dust and rusting away. There was one other customer in the store, trying to pickup a unit they had already paid for, and it took three sales reps to deal with one customer, while we sat their waiting to pay for an over priced unit (which we need to bring an old man some relief from his back pain) I highly doubt they are providing for thousands of customers, but what I do know is this response is neither truthful or honest.A simple apology would suffice, no need to make up stories about bring the unit from some other location, or pretending like the store was so overwhelmed with customers that they couldnt have managed to treat us with some small semblance of decency, respect, and expedience. They saw that we needed the machine, and they took full advantage of us by not fully disclosing the state of the unit over the phone, and when we got there by completely ignoring us for over half an hour when all we wanted to do is pay and get out.I rarely write bad reviews, because I understand sometimes people just dont see eye to eye, but it really chaps my hide that the owners response here is to out right lie about their effort in all this, and the volume of traffic that actually presents itself to the store.If the old man was a bit more patient, we could have gotten the unit brand new in a box, delivered to his house, for a lot less than we paid here, but they saw he wanted it, and they took full advantage.

They have actual real commercial gym equipment in real good shape.

You have to call them to make sure they have what you want cause woth the pandemic,everyone is exercising at home and they sell out constantly.They have a broad variety of fitness equipment and Im sure they can meet your needs.Prices are reasonable and the staff is knowledgeable.

Never been to the store, but I called asking for a specific item and the guy had a nasty “cut off” attitude over the phone. I’m not asking for a loan or a favor, if I’m calling is because I’m interested in making a PURCHASE so you can keep your business!

I didnt see much discount

I bought a Keiser M3+ last December and came in today to ask about a minor issue. Kevin took care of me long after the warranty period. Great customer service as usual. Mom is very fun too. Love supporting small businesses that take great care of customers and their prices cant be beat.

I have two elliptical machines from this store. I was highly impressed with the level of honesty displayed by the owner, Kevin. He told me about which materials to stay away from and what would get me more for my money.The machines purchased from were delivered and set up for me by a professional team. The only lifting I had to do was opening the door, and pointing my finger to were I wanted my machines set up.The machines have lasted and continue to perform just as well as the day they were purchased and have helped me greatly in moving towards my health and fitness goals.

This is a family run business that is first class. I live in Santa Barbara and made the trek down and was very impressed with the showroom. I am a personal trainer and I was looking for a specific spin bike, Keiser. Kevin the owner is an expert and was able to find the old school bike without the pins and the old school handlebars. We kept in touch via text and calls and within 3 weeks I got better then I expected. His mother, Connie runs the showroom and a nice gentleman is there to switch seats around and help you get it in the car. Kevin, the owner refurbishes the bikes and mine is in excellent condition. Keizers are hard to find and he is able to tell you where he got them, how new they are and is more then fair on the price. I would have driven twice as far to work with them. You cannot find the quality inventory on Ebay, CL, or anywhere else. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Went and bought a Keiser M3 there. Kevin(Owner) was really friendly and help me find the bike that is perfect for me. Only place I could find Keiser bikes in great condition for relatively cheap.
