Took my truck in to get a new head unit and subs installed. Sales rep, Cameron was very helpful. A day before my appointment they realized that the subs I wanted were out of stock so they gave me better subs for the same price. Customer service like that goes a long way. Sterling @ mobile music on Cornwall gave me the marvelous experience of buying a new subwoofer for my system. I was not at all savvy with stereo equipment and so I went to the pros. My guy, Sterling hooked me up with a super rich and clear rockford fosgate sub, and essentially provied a plug and play service for me. I also left with some functional knowledge so that I have the OPTIMAL experiene. This is a well oiled team of professionals; executing tasks with a quickness, a heart of service and a chipper demeanor! My car absolutely slaps now and I could not be happier and more pleased. As a Lifesaver customer here I have always been treated with a level of customer service here that far surpasses what most would consider above and beyond. In the Lifesaver section of the store I have been met with extreme levels of accommodation on countless occasions.Due to my work schedule moving around multiples times a day, sometimes with only a few minutes notice, Ive had to reschedule appointments at last-minute instances many times and Ed from the Lifesaver department has always squeezed me in whenever I was available to come in. On top of this service, Ive even come in with some unrelated issues on my vehicle that the people working here have helped me with, free of charge. They are just very helpful peopleIn terms of the business, as a whole, the guys in the shop here are incredibly helpful whenever I walk in. Theyre very friendly and always professional with anyone who come through their doors. I can only speak for myself, but the times Ive been in the store, waiting for my quick maintenance appointment to finish, I have seen or heard many satisfied customers either finishing up, or just starting their upgrade services on their vehicles. Everyone always seems to be very happy with the work being done.

This is my first review Ive ever felt compelled to leave. My boss, his brother, and I all came in recently for some stereo equipment. Cameron helped us and the customer service was phenomenal. Every question answered and concern was addressed. You might be able to get audio equipment cheaper online, but the experience and customer service is well worth supporting this shop. The quality of sound I have in my car now is insane. We are having them make a couple custom boxes for 2 F-150s and doing some install work. I am positive that the quality of work will be exceptional. I cant recommend these guys enough.

This place is dope. Everyone here knows what they are talking about and they have had no problems helping me figure out my car av setup. They even let me come in so they could show me how to take out my head unit so I could customize the ports in the dash. I was recommended by multiple people and Ill definitely be recommending them as well. 👌

These guys, 1: know what they’re talking about, 2: will help you out with tips and info if you are more into doing your own work, and 3: they have everything you could ever want as far as equipment. They helped me get speakers into my mother in laws 1992 Honda Accord, and were the only store in Bellingham that had a stereo harness for my Subaru Impreza. On top of that they gave me info on how to hook up my aftermarket stereo to my system, and gave me tips on how to use my factory speaker chassis for aftermarket speakers. Couldn’t recommend them enough especially if you like to do your own work!

Really nice place to get a new car stereo. I was facing a two hour road trip home to Seattle the next day with no music, so they managed to fit me in on short notice. Im sure this was a pain since they were already booked full, so I really appreciated it. I will definitely be holding off on future car audio upgrades until Im back in Bellingham, although Ill try not to show up the day before I leave next time. ;-)

Good place to go if you feel like throwing away $1,300. The “manager” was unbelievably rude and Initially told us it would be $90 for them to look into it. That was well and fine. Then they had to replace the speaker and that would be more money- okay. But in the end they charged us $1,300 and had the audacity to not even put the stereo back in the mount. We got in the vehicle and it was COMPLETELY out, literally sitting in the cup holders, with wires everywhere. For $1,300 they couldn’t even wrap up the job. We will never be back, nor do I recommend anyone ever go here. Absolutely asinine.

Ive purchased a multiple complete sound systems from this store and all I can say is the service is great! They also have great products that they stand behind and help you out with if there is ever an issue. Ive also gone in with several simple little things and they never act like they are too good to help you. Big or small, they can do it all!And... They still know how to interact with customers. Sterling, the car audio specialist and John the music tech helped me find what I was truly looking for in a sound system. They tweaked around with my subwoofer and the amp settings to make it really boom! Im so happy with their customer service as I went there twice that day as well as call them with a ton of questions about if I was treating my system right in order for it not to be damaged. I recently purchased a President McKinley CB radio intending to do the installation work myself. However, when I looked at how the existing wiring was bundled into conduit and passed through the firewall of my truck, I knew I would screw things up if I did the work myself. I would definitely agree with the 3.5 stars on Google. I set an appointment for a time, the appointment was kept, they installed it within the time promised, my stereo works - 3 Stars. They lost 1.5 because: 1 - they are oddly abrasive. Its more like they arent aware they are doing it, but they really pitch the we dont warranty this garbage you bought on amazon attitude pretty hard. But, I was just like whatever, install my stereo. 2 - the installer left the old grease covered stereo on my back seat.

Had mobile music fix wiring to my aftermarket headlights and re-wire my lights on the grill of my truck. Very professional, end cost was the cost quoted and the wiring under the hood looks very professional. Would recommend for any wiring work.

I would definitely recommend checking them out! We recently purchased an older used car and took it in to Mobile Music to see if we could have an auxiliary cable put in. Cam worked with us to show us options at various price points and patiently explained the pros and cons of each option for almost an hour. We ended up electing to have a new stereo installed, and we couldnt be happier! The install appointment was super fast, the new stereo works great, and they even boxed up our old stereo in the new stereos box for easy storage. They even remembered me when I returned to pick up the car and moved it right up to the front door for me, which was not necessary, but very much appreciated! Overall, Cam went above and beyond to make sure we felt heard and that we felt confident in our purchase. Ive made Mobile Music my go to place for audio gear for my cars and other vehicles for a couple of years now, from hard wiring my Radar detector and dash cam to fitting up new speakers on a couple of cars, and installing a lovely 7.5 double din Kenwood LED with parking assist, GPS, rear view cam blah blah... I hear that Shaun has gone on to the Front office, but the staff he puts in place here know their decibels and watts and what theyre doing and they do it promptly and well. Definitely 5 stars.

Had them do a job on my 05 gmc 3500. They did a great job. Took my wifes 02 Lexus in for an upgrade speaker job. A couple weeks later I checked my receipt. It had a $100 charge for an extended service plan. I was never given an option, never told about it. Is this legal? Went back in and they gave me my money back but they offered no apology. Wish I wouldve checked the receipt on the truck job. To top it off, they called me the day after I got my money back to tell me my wifes car was done. It was done 5 weeks prior.

I called in with questions and was greeted by a voice friendly enough it was as if I knew the person on the other end. Cameron shin helped me with only about 20 mins left a tell close after my drive in. He helped me along with another costumer he stayed with us until our issues were solved or came to a conclusion of some sort. He was very polite and didnt push any products on me. Strictly helped me solve a issue with my line out put converter showed me and explained along the way how I can do the rest after I went on my way. Despite the lack of customer service skills, they did a great job installing a 500 watt amp and 12 Sub in our 2014 Honda accord. The wires are all hidden and the sound is quality. It took them about 3 hours and ran $200 in labor. The technician that did the work came out to the car and ran me through everything he was going to do before hand, he was great. It was the manager that I was not impressed with, he hardly acknowledged customers accept when trying to up-sell products, which he tried to do to me even though I clearly told him I was not interested.

Shawn and is crew are top notch. Install was handled prompt and professionally and was done on time. My biggest fear going into this was having the install not look great. Well....Mobile Music did a GREAT JOB and I couldnt be happier.Thanks Shawn and Mobile music!

Used to go here regularly until I started going to the one in Mt Vernon. Everytime I bring a project for the last 6+ months, the main tech is reluctant to work on any project I have. Ever since, Ive been going to the Mt Vernon location for their quality, service, scheduling, and pricing (especially with techs there that arent afraid to tackle a new job). After spending about $3k at this location over 2 years, and now getting declined to do projects here, that the MM Mt Vernon location is better at....Ill have to take my business elsewhere. After stopping by to check on a last ditch project for this location to tackle, now they say they need a cash deposit for an appointment. Too bad its gotten this poor in service. I miss working with Cameron and the crew pre-covid. Hoping they get more customer friendly eventually again.

These guys at Mobile Music are real pros. I had been shopping on line for a blue tooth radio for my daughters car for her birthday. I had a pretty good idea what I wanted, but I decided to drop In to Mobile Music in Bellingham anyway since I had some questions about how the installation part worked. It turns out they had everything I wanted right there in stock for a pretty competitive price, and I got better service and a better warranty. So I had a blue tooth radio installed in my daughters car within a couple days, and I have a newly restored faith in local businesses because these guys were great!

Purchased a car alarm with remote start for my Jeep. Everything seemed fine when I set up the appointment but...I dropped the vehicle off the night before and planned to pick it up the next afternoon. When I picked up the vehicle, I asked the employee if he could show me how it was set up and how to operate the alarm and remote start. The guy at the counter didnt know the answer and said the tech had already gone home. He said it should start with the * button, but that was all he knew.When I got in the vehicle, the dash was covered in grease prints. When I asked them for a rag to clean it, they got a bit upset. They gave me a rag and some cleaner but, I had to clean it. The next day, I found out the system was only set to run for 12 minutes, barely enough time to start de-icing my car. When I dropped in to ask for them to change it, they said I had to set an appointment for the following week, something that takes 15 minutes to change.Ive been in 1 time since, experienced poor customer service again and will never go back.

Just paid Mobile Music $1300 to have new speakers and noise damping installed on my 2015 Honda CR-V. The store manager, Shawn, assured me that the new speakers and the noise damping would make a huge difference to the cars audio. Unfortunately it sounds exactly the same as it did before.With car audio you do not know how it is going to sound until after it is installed. You have to trust the opinion of the audio expert. Mobile Music only wants your money.Beware of the speaker brand Hertz sold by Mobile Music. It is a dealer only brand that is marked up about 600%.

Spent 2k on an modest power amp nertz speaker system for my 16 Tacoma. Custom back seat console bass speaker, along with total replacement of all stock Toyota speakers. What a sound. 2nd truck stereo ice had put in. Somewhat of a budget unit, but vast improvement over my stock system. Great install, good equipment. Mentored by KCameran, front man at the shop.

About 5 months ago I finally decided to give in to buying myself a complete sound system for my 2011 Lexus IS. I went in having a general idea of wanted but not exactly. While browsing their awesome selection, Cameron and Shawn were both very helpful and informative and did an awesome job pointing me in the right direction to find the perfect system for me and my vehicle. Not to mention their installer dale did an amazing job putting everything together and making sure there were no exposed cables, and mounting my amplifier. Everything done very professional. I was also impressed with the fact that they scheduled me a short few days after I had made my selections, and were able to do the install in a day! (Custom box, subs, amp, ridiculous dash kit, and my deck). Shoutout to Cameron for taking personal time out of his day to show he how everything I had just purchased worked and helping me adjust everything to exactly how I wanted. As far as dash kits go I only had one option for my vehicle and it was a very unique dash kit. Ive never had any problems with anything except a few minor issues with the dash kit, and as soon as I had them, they were on it the same day to help me out! The only negative thing Id have to say, is that their prices are a bit high in my opinion, but I still give them 5 stars regardless because of my great expieiences.

I drove all over town trying unsuccessfully to find a stereo dash kit for a 2001 Honda Civic. I thought it would be a pretty simple thing to find, but nobody had it. Walmart didn’t have it, Best Buy didn’t have it, Auto Zone said they had it but the one they sold me was the wrong one. I was about to give up and just order it online but the man from Napa Auto Parts suggested I try Mobile Music. I went in and they had exactly what I needed. I got the proper dash kit and wiring harness and was on my way. I was able to install the new stereo on the same day and everything turned out great! I was just glad I was able to get it done on the same day and not have to wait another week for the parts to be delivered. Thanks!

These guys are scam artists. I had a full sound system installed by this place back in 2006. Worked great for years, a bit spendy, but it was a solid install. A few month ago I started having an issue where the system would lose sound then come back on randomly. So I went back in to have the guys check it out. I was told my amp and deck were fried and would have to be replaced. Darn. Also after I left the diagnosis the system wouldnt work at all, not even randomly. Ok, no problem get new stuff. So I purchased an amp and deck and had a friend who does installs for a living put them in. The deck wasnt fried. The amp wasnt fried. The techs unhooked a ground wire during their diagnosis and there was a blown fuse in a power line. $3 worth of parts needed to fix it. I ended up throwing in the new parts anyways because it was an upgrade but thats besides the point. I was a good customer and spent good money to have these guys install a system back in 2006 then they just straight up lied to me and sabotaged their own work to get more business. Never going there again and I suggest no one else does either.

Update: Since that unfortunate experience with these guys, I have had my car battery completely die (not because of the quality of the battery but because of other issues with my car and my alternator) and Shaun was very helpful with replacing the battery no questions asked the very same day, one time even staying past closing and personally installing the new battery after removing the faulty one! I am impressed with the difference and improvment in customer service since my first time coming hereQuote me 3400 for compete installation which included a custom box but I had all the equiptment other then the 2 12 T1 shallow fosgate subs and as stated the box... I had a deck and speakers and amps, but being naive and it being my baby (I mean 2006 Corvette z06 at 26 y.o.... who wouldnt) so it was a pretty crazy high estimate to give them room for additional costs right? Go to pick it up and not only is it out in the rain which I was promised by Shaun it would be kept in the shop, but also they need 5300 before I get my car back.... You read that right... After arguing and being reassured after the 600 downpayment it wasnt as far off as I was thinking from the quote I was given... Not even an hour into driving my car is freaking out, service light, check engine, traction control errors so I ended up having to take it back in and get scammed into buying a top dollar. Performance battery and that will fix it(found out afterward the battery I had WAS a performance battery(same brand and everything). They offered to dispose of it for me not wanting me to see this fact, Im sure to resell or just keep... Didnt fix it... Brought it in and got talked into hertz 2 way front speakers @ $600 and of course when i returned they tried convincing me I owed them 1300 which is what they quoted the 3 ways at that day I said to do it if they really thought it would make a huge difference(to their credit that was true) but realize my car had an extra 38 miles from when I dropped it off. I know cuz I had gotten the oil changed at the dealership and took it straight from their to mobile music and they record your mileage on your receipt anytime they work on your vehicle... Busted... Scam artists 100% dont put yourself through this terrible experience, I wouldnt put this much effort into a google review or any review for that matter usually but this is just completely not how business should be handled and I thought people should know.. Sorry for the short novel but hey if it saved u that misery, glad u stuck it out and took the time to learn all the reasons to go anywhere else
