A wonderful selection of the coolest curated goodies! They do a nice job of representing some rad local brands as well of wares from all over the place. My favorites are their books and stationary but the children’s goods are also pretty hard to beat— their book selection is always top notch! Oh and the shop is dog friendly which I love :)

This is one of my favorite stores for buying gifts. The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful and always help me find the perfect gifts in my budget. A lot of thought and attention goes into their selection process, so you really can’t go wrong here — and they get new items in all the time! It’s also my favorite spot for finding unique minimalist jewelry and cute kitchen items. Check them out!

Thoughtfully curated little store with several great gift ideas. Very clean and modern aesthetic, with influences/products from Scandinavia, Japan, etc. Its always worth popping in to see what neat new stuff they have!

New to me, but not new to Bellingham! I was so excited to stumble upon Ideal, and learned they have actually been here for 12 years. They have a lovely selection of high quality, practical items. Their shop is clean and inviting; the staff is friendly and engaging. Looking forward to shopping at Ideal in the future for gifts or home upgrades.

I love the products here. Its fun to go browse. But I cant afford the nice things handmade in exotic locales.Maybe when I bump up a tax bracket, I can dump some dough in here.You owe it to yourself to at least go check it out. Lisa and Kath are phenomenal hosts to an exquisite shopping experience. Their appreciation of good design is realized through a well curated gallery store that is home to a wide variety of reasonably priced design goods. Whether youre pondering a small gift for a loved one or something substantial for the home, youre likely to find something that catches your eye. The shop does well to celebrate everything from classic to contemporary, and puts an emphasis on honest, original design. Its one of the best shops downtown and a must-see for anyone visiting Bellingham for the first time.-Ive been enamored with the store since I moved to Bellingham in 2012 - the selection of products rotates frequently so theres always something fresh to enjoy, and I cannot say enough how wonderful the owners are.The two are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. On top of that they are active members of the downtown community and have frequently partnered with the Industrial Design students at Western Washington University to showcase a selection of sustainable student design work in the ReMade showcase.In my time in Bellingham Ive had the pleasure of working for and with them and am happy to say that Ive made life-long friends in the process!
