I used to love shopping here, I would find a lot of good things. the customer service that Aaron had provided with us was very unprofessional, very rude, they should be very careful who they hire, I’ve worked in retail for so many years, this is not how we handle mask policies, we don’t yell at customers for pulling up their mask, we had our masks on throughout our shopping until we came on his register. What really makes me sad is that everyone at the store is normally nice very professional this is the first time I’ve encountered anyone that was so rude. He was very unprofessional, customers need to shop accordingly and wisely, I do not recommend shopping here.

I absolutely love Community Food Co-op!! It is my Go-to Deli whenever I work late and have nothing planned for dinner. Always using fresh and local ingredients, their chefs come up with these wonderful dishes, which are rotated regularly. Each month their offerings are fresh, delicious and new!And, because Im not consuming wheat or sugar I can see all of the ingredients on each tag.With two locations to serve our ever-growing neighborhood, Community Food Co-op is so much more than a grocery store. It is a gathering place for those who want well-thought-out products and good clean food; supporting the local businesses, the farmers, the entrepreneurs, the local guy.

This locations is not so bad but their customer service was very disappointing… I think they are very desperate right know due to COVID-19 but Aaron is one of the worst employees I have ever encountered in my life, very rude, and disrespectful, I highly suggest them to encourage him to take some courses to work in retail and how to properly communicate with people.

Some people think its expensive but I believe you get value for money. A good selection of organic, environmentally responsible products. Nice wine selection, great deli and nice folks. Plus its a community co-op!

I absolutely loooove this store! It reminds me of a shop I was a health consultant for in Vancouver. I was excited to find this cider for $11.99! Definitely can’t compare to drinking it from the tap at Aslan. Still was so worth it to get this 6 pack.We love getting snacks & drinks at the co-op then having the kids run wild at the playground.My top faves at the co-op:- GTs Lavender Kombucha- Parmesan Penne- refillable (zero-waste) toiletries and bulk snacks, honey, etc.- organic grapes were reasonably priced!

Get all my holistic and organic goods here. If they dont have it on the shelf you can probably special order it.

Love their bakery items. Ive had their banana bread, tiramisu and the lemon cloud cake. The lemon cloud cake is to die for and gluten free. Will be ordering all celebration cakes from here in the future.

Conviniently located Bellinghams favourite store. I like their cafeteria and warm welcoming atmosphere. Well, I like everything there and shop in this Co-op almost every day.

Cute store. Has a huge section of non dairy milk. Lots of gluten, vegan, and some Keto friendly items. Fresh salad bar. Wish they had a few more lunch type items

I actually prefer this location to downtown. Deli is amazing. Grab and sandwich and head to Cordata park for lunch. And tip the crazy xylophone busker.

Prices arent coop-like (they match the typical natural food store) but selection is amazing and Im SO close to being able to shop here exclusively for everything. Excellent deli, even Bakery items are very good. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful.

Deli offerings are weak. Butchery is awesome wine selection and values. 👍👍

Cashier named Caleb needs a new job or an attitude check, extremely rude employee. He was throwing my food across the check out table with no care or empathy. When he asked if I wanted a bag I said yes and then he started aggressively tossing my items into the bag with the worst attitude like a child. Pick better employees food Co-op 🤦‍♀️

This coop is another great grocery store. Lovely, helpful staff, so many options, and easy to purchase local products. I love it here.

This Co-OP is the best grocery and general health-products store in Whatcom County. And Bellingham has two stores !! We are blessed.

The bulk section is amazing, and the fresh fruits and veggies with no plastic is to die for, I just wanna suggest that the plants need a little more care, if theyre gonna throw them away, would be good instead just to put something outside of the store for people to get them for cents, or maybe free, Im sure that people and plants would be grateful ❤

I love this location over the downtown one. Mainly because parking is free, hah! But the staff here are very knowledgeable whatever product you have questions about and they are very kind. The quality of the produce, meat amazing-very fresh-and also carry much local products. Keep in mind this location is smaller but still has a lot of options. Tip, if you are a local college student, you receive 5% discount on Wednesday

Very good quality organic produce, bulk items and dairy/eggs. The deli section has good meal options. My wife and I will often stop to pick up dinner here. We feel very good about that because of the quality of the good. It is also delicious. 😉

Not too friendly but great products

Went in for essential oils and the girl in that section did not want to help Kim and I! we walked out spending 150.00+ food oils and bath goodies.The Coop down town Bellingham is better to visit and they do not mind answering questions!

I love my local co-op and visit multiple times a week. The staff are wonderful folks and their covid response has been impressive. I feel safe and always look forward to visiting. Thank you Community Co-op!

I shop here often. Great selection of food and vitamins. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. My daugher was diagnosed with a gluten allergy, and the selections of food to help with her new diet is fantastic.

Way too expensive. The extra cost you pay here for the same products found cheaper all over, doesnt seem to be funding good customer service. If you love to be told what do regarding matters of privacy and individual freedoms this is your place.

You can’t make up with left propaganda banners on your walls what you lack in food quality and variety. Everybody in management needs to go to the Mount Vernon co-op and get a clue. Shame on you

Expensive at and WinCo has most of what they do but if youre not wanting to poison yourself with soy and other stuff then food co-op will save your life for sure

This co-op and their sister co-op in the downtown area have exactly what I’m looking for: a sizable bulk section, reasonable prices, a hot food and salad bar, and a place to sit- indoor seating and outdoor, no less. I drop in here once a week or so on my way to my weekend job on the north side of town. I always enjoy it. The cashiers and staff near the hot bar are usually exceedingly friendly. Like some of them offputtingly so. Love it.Two caveats:Hot bar items are often mostly or entirely meat-containing dishes. Bummer.Men’s bathroom has one stall that’s often occupied for very long amounts of time.. I know this can’t be addressed until remodeling is done some day in the future, but let’s get more than one stall in there.

Eat here every day. Love the hot bar and prepared foods. Love that they Mark the allergens to make it clear. Im Addicted to the summertime smoothie. Coffee is great. And quality grocery items. An excellent place basically.

Love this store! Theres so much to look at. And its always clean. My favorite thing is the deli and soups. The salad bar is quite extensive (even in this romaine crisis), and even if you show up too early for the delicious soups they have, theres some amazing breakfast choices to be had! The stuff they have in the case is equally amazing. The salmon is so mouth watering.I like this store better than the downtown location mostly because of size. Things arent as cramped. Love the selection here.

I come often to this place for lunch. They have the best salad bar in town. Things are alway so fresh and their vegan ranch is amazing and I buy it to take home. I always feel like a million bucks after Ive eaten there. Their bakery item are also very good. Not too sweet.

This place is pretty expensive, so I only shop here for specialty items. Its always spotlessly clean, items are easy to find, and staff is helpful.

Really appreciate the food and the service team here. Clean nice and with the current state of vivid 19 they are taking great strides to protect

Just like the Downtown location, this grocery store has everything you need at really great prices. Almost everything is all-natural, organic, sustainably sourced, local, or all of the above. Plus, customer service is always great, and their eating area is lovely and just what you need for a moment of rest while you have a great latte!

Great customer service! As far as co-ops go, this is my favourite. Bathrooms, hot food bar, coffee bar, good prices, foods for all allergies!

We live very close to this Co-op so were there all the time. Its a great place to go for healthy food! I love their healthy organic homemade soups. They have a great salad bar, and Deli. Excellent customer service. Always very friendly, and helpful!

Im leaving a 5-star review, but its a complaint. Ive bought potatoes, jalapenos, bell peppers, and other produce that spoil very quickly after buying them. Or, its already spoiled after removing the packaging. Id say within around three days. When I mentioned it the first time, you guys offered a replacement. I didnt take the replacement. I dont want to keep commenting about my food spoiling and waste time or money on food I cant eat. I hope you guys can figure out a solution because its happening way too frequently.

Have organic choices for almost everything. They pefer local and fair trade. Helpful staff. Cleaning products, baby needs, etc. Have reusable containers for home storage, etc. Lunch counter, soup and salad bar are great. Bulk not only for food, but bath and cleaning. On the bus line.

The employees in the morning kitchen are incredible. To accomplish what they do with such a small staff shows extreme pride in there craft. ¡¡They all deserve substantial bonuses and raises!!
