Used to come here all the time from BC as it was closer to my house. Then covid and lock downs hit so I haven’t been there in almost two years. But when I did go, the staff were the most friendliest, knowledgeable people I have ever come across! The store was clean, all of the time.. if there was a spill, there was a worker cleaning. I can’t wait till the border opens up so I can visit again.

Waited a extremely long time over our pick up time for our food delivery, tons of substitutes that are not close to what we ordered. Staff was nice though! Seems like maybe just really poor management.

Decent selection for a fredmyer, was lacking in the frozen and gluten free foods.Security seems to be an issue at this store. Two people ran out with alarms going off when I was there and all the clothes had cables going thru them to prevent theft which could be a hassle if you wanted to try something on.

1* for my bad experience tonight, raised to 3* because of prior good experiences. I wont be back if I can help it.This is a large store, and I was shopping at 7:00 p.m. on a senior discount Tuesday night. There were two checkout aisles for all grocery customers. People were backed up deep in the two aisles, waiting with overflowing carts.Unfortunately I had shopped too much to use the self-checkout lines. I faced a sharp-eyed woman on the wall who was monitoring all of this, and who looked plenty capable of checking out customers in a pinch. I parked my cart in one of the many empty check out lines, threw up my hands where the supervisor could see me, and left. With covid and claustrophobia because of the N95 mask I have to wear, I just could not do it.

The bathrooms are a bit messy with a few broken items here and there but on the average relatively clean looking.The aisles are kept clean but the signage in the clothing section is lacking for clear division between clothing types.It is well laid out with clear views across most of the store.

This might be the most poorly organized store Ive been to in recent memory.I stopped in and me and another shopper wandered around the front for a few minutes trying to find a cart with wheels that werent locked. I found one and gave it to the other shopper and finally found an abandoned cart in produce.Nothing is grouped intuitively and theres no directory overhead to help guide you to the right aisles. I had to meander back and forth quickly reading the signs which were sometimes misleading. It took me 2-3x longer than I estimated to buy a half dozen items.There are pallets of food to be stocked in aisles that are so narrow sometimes you cant get around them.Perplexingly, baby food and supplies are in a random corner of the store next to kids clothes and the meat counter.My experience left me in a bad mood, which is not a great feeling.Two stars because the staff were friendly at least, and I would know because I had to ask them for help finding things frequently.

The consistent lack of checker service has become a farewell for me ($300 @ week). Hello WINCO here I come. Too bad for the GM there goes your sales forecast.

Clean and light shopping floor. Shopping environment is comfortable with music provided. Employees are very nice, friendly, and helpful. Check out speed is normal. Credit cards accepted. Many small shopping stores are available here. Public restrooms available. Free parking lot available. HWY I-5, many shopping options and dinning options are nearby. Recommend it.

Saw ad for 8 bottle Gatorade on sale for $3.99 when you buy 3. Costco sells 24 Gatorade for $13 something so decided to drive across to Fred Meyer after getting my cranberry juice, celery, and Brussels sprouts at Costco to save myself $1 something😊 A lot of shoppers today. I went by desserts and saw delectable looking cheesecake/ carrot cake slice. Asked ee for slice and she asked me if I wanted chocolate cake/ cheesecake or cheesecake/carrot. Was going to ask for carrot cake when I thought, Get both! so I did. On my way to checkout, passed by fruit and vegetables which looked so colorful and fresh that for a moment there, I thought I could be a vegetarian. Reality crashed in as how could I bear to leave my steaks, chicken and ham hocks. I forgot my Fred Meyer card but cashier was wonderful and able to give me discount on Gatorade. Customer service given with a cheerful smile always make shopping more enjoyable.

Went here for the first time as we are staying at a hotel nearby. Just needed to grab a few items we forgot at home. This store is set up confusing, and it was frustrating. They have flavored water on one aisle, sports drinks on another, and juice on another. Didnt make sense and was confusing. Instead of all clothes and housing items on one side there are a little on each end. At 8:30p on a Saturday it was busy but felt even busier because only 2 registers were open and only one section of self check out. Long lines, when all they needed was one more worker to watch a set of 6 more self checkouts.

Went during a pandemic and there were not only unmasked customers, but cashiers as well. I went to complain to customer service, but the employee there was unmasked as well. Will not be returning to that plague pit. Im not sure if they realize they sell food and need to follow basic hygiene procedures.

I love Fred Meyer, but I Have shopped here for the last time today. It’s soooo hard to shop In a store where you cannot find items needed on the shelves because they can’t get restocked. The dairy department is horrible. The milk I needed Was in the back. I could See it. Not one person could grab one for me. There is no way to get help, from ANYONE. The meat department, which I considered Excellent, is as disappointing. When the guy at the meat counter says, I don’t know this or that and says he doesn’t know who to ask, you know the store is out of control. Deli counter was terrible. One customer besides me. Waited 12 minutes to get help. People milling around but nobody even looks your way. Sad that a food store has gone down so terribly.

Click list is a mess!!! all the spots are always full and cars jump line for parking spots. Fred Meyer needs to deal with this before a fight breaks out. Waiting 30 min for a parking spot is crazy

Its a freddies so you know the convenience they provide in one stop shopping. But whats excellent about this location is the work ethics of the employees. I always see a team member working hard, or doing their best for the customer. Whether its product knowledge, or knowing where something is in the store. Management should be proud, and they should feel lucky to have such a great team.

The ClickList employees are always friendly and they always get my orders correct. I never have to worry about being charged for items I didn’t receive at the Bakerview Fred Meyer and I’m extremely appreciate of that!

I’ve been using their curbside for almost 3 months now. The app is intuitive but the best part is how friendly the staff that bring out your order! They alway go over the substitutions, but again the best part is that they are amazing personable and cheerful. I never have to worry they won’t get what I need. Thank you for all your hard work!!!

Freds has produce&meat Im looking for. Higher ups have decided the rewards rebates were unnecessary. Now Freds wants customers believing prices have been lowered on items they select daily. An employee told me this.

Today was my first time at that store. Im visiting from out of town and thought I would pick up lunch before getting on the road to head home. My friend and I picked up a few items and then decided she would go get dog food while I stayed in the deli. After 5 minutes of waiting a lady came over and I asked for the last 3 patriot sandwiches. She got them boxed up and instead of handing them to me or asking if I wanted to pay there or up front, she informed me that I would have to pay for them there. I asked her why? and she said company policy. I have 22 years experience in the grocery retail business and NEVER have I heard of that rule. As a dept. manager we were trained to focus on customer service. This deli instead stereotyped me on sight and decided I was a shoplifter. Very humiliating for me. A complaint was given to the store manager, so hopefully they get trained to help the customer not assume on sight that they are thiebes.

The online ordering is simple yet somehow the employees running the online orders for pick up don’t bother to grab some items. They always tell me things are out of stock, yet when I go into the store immediately after picking up my groceries I see the items are actually in stock. They had plenty of eggs and they also didn’t give me my toilet paper, but the girl told me the total was somehow the same even though I didn’t get my items! Very poorly handled. That is literally their job!

Shopped online for PORTABLE AC unit. Site said Emerson Quiet Cool Portable Air Conditioner - White was in stock $399 plus tax. Excited finally get to cool off! Pick up at 7 PM. My Wife and I got to store they didnt have the AC unit they had a window unit instead. We refused that unit the person delivering the unit said they would void the purchase and bring my receipt. Fine except they had captured $399 plus tax that did not get voided or refunded when store saw that was not in stock. Now I have to wait for days to get money back to go buy and AC unit. Spoke to the Manager She said to wait till next week to see if your $$ is back if not call again. In the mean time no AC....terrible customer service shop on south side may be better service.

The Click-List service at this location is INCREDIBLE! Always very friendly and efficient but especially today, Nate and Gary S. went above and beyond to ensure we were able to pick up our order quickly and safely despite a technical issue. Money over people is this Fred Meyers policy. If you are high risk DO NOT SHOP HERE. The employees do not wear facial coverings appropriately (and sometimes not at all), customers are allowed in without face masks or any covering, customers can wear masks under the nose.The management will make an announcement to fix your face mask if you ask them to but otherwise it doesnt matter enough to them.If you are high risk (or love someone who is) know that this Fred Meyer does not prioritize health and safety.

Ive been in the mount Baker Fred Meyers no carts I am handy caped and need a motorized cart they had 4all broke down . I then went to use the bathroom it looked like it hadnt been cleaned in days I normally wouldnt say anything but this is not the first time it seems like every time I come in here its the same thing there for I wont be coming back

Just tried to read through your coupons in their new format and I must tell you whomever came up with this should be taken out to the woodshed and flogged. The size of the coupon is too small, in some instances I couldn’t figure out what the product was, the product name should be on top and the cash rebate amount should come after. As you will note for the coming week I have not chosen any coupons and will not do so until your format is changed. I know change is good but you certainly have failed on this one.

All the staff here are super friendly and helpful. The cashiers and bagging staff work very hard and are adhering to all guidelines during covid-19. I feel very safe shopping here.

Every time I go grocery shopping here, they are ALWAYS out of at least 1-2 items on my list. Like simple items. White beans or cornmeal. Stuff like that. And I end up wasting time looking everywhere to end up not finding it. Super frustrating!!!

This was my very first time in Washington and I was needing a few supplies, but I had never been into a Fred Meyer before. I felt completely lost in there when one of the workers, Elena, came up to me and asked if I needed any help and she directed me to where a few things would be and told me if I needed anymore help that she would be more than happy to help me. Ive never felt more welcomed in a shopping establishment before and she is an absolute sweetheart, I would highly recommend keeping her around because she is a fantastic worker and person all around.

I shop at Fred Meyer all the time and have had a few issues with service provided but nothing like today .. i went to get some carne asada, i walked up to the counter, i was the only person there, but next thing i know, the lady started helping someone that walked up after me, who was a employee who was doing a instacart, another person walked up to counter, and she helped him next . Now before you ask or think to yourself, hmm maybe she didnt see me, well she did, she looked at me 3 times .. i never through this out there until today, but i feel she was showing prejudice towards me .. i was so upset that i just walked away with out the carne asada. I went back to see if i could see her name but i couldnt .. i will not be returning to your store to do my major shopping, i will go else where .. time of shopping was approx. 2:20 p.m on 9/15/2020 Bakerview in Bellingham . Pickup order substitutions are often very weird. Like today we wanted beef burgers and got turkey burgers instead. Like, I wanted beef burgers, not any old ground meat burgers. You could have literally substituted with any ground beef product and I would have been happy. I can make burger patties. I cant turn turkey into beef. How stupid.

The ignorance of someone who is supposed to be in charge amazes me. Here i was just doing my every day grocery shopping. When u over hear the store manager yelling and driving this guy to tears who had a little dog I. His hands. This guy clearly was challenged/and the store manager going off o. This guy asking for the guys paperwork on his service animal. The store leader was even ?ing why he needed the animal I. The first place to the point of this guy crying and me actually saying something to this supposed to be example employee ithis guy was so offensive i left my half full cart right there and left with the actual handicapped guy and his service animal. In todays society there is no room for I people who hurts and bully others at all. For this bald headed pompos as manger trying to make this guys hard enough life even harder makes me sick. If this is how fredmyer chooses to represent them selfs then I will choose not to shop there and would erge people who feel the same way to do the same. It is not hard to treat people with common respect and courtesy witch this guy showed none. Thanks fir reading this and I hope the problem would be resolved promptly or they will be losing a lifetime customer.

Absolutely appaled at the customer service that I saw today.a few hours ago today (october 24th, 2020) I witnessed the MALE SEAFOOD ATTENDENT get frustrated with a customer (who seamed to be struggling with ordering thier seafood) and scream at them multiple times CAN I HELP YOU [very loudly]............ I WASNT EVEN RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE SEAFOOD COUNTER AND I COULD HEAR THIS. completley uncalled for behavior. from what i saw the customer wasnt doing anything bad, just struggling to order and the MALE attendent instead of helping thought that screaming would help¿?¿?¿?he was very aggressive and rude.FRED MEYERS MANAGEMENT Please address this issue and maybe give out some retraining?.....

Very clean store, friendly staff, and by far the freshest produce in the regional area. Great specials on seafood and meats as well. Honestly, I wont shop anywhere else for produce, I cant praise them enough for that. Prices are reasonable on everything. Thank you Fred Meyer for being there for myself and my family of friends. Disappointed and amazed that there is nobody at the entrance checking people for masks and wearing them. Covid out of control and according to the checkers the employees cannot say anything to customers if they are not wearing a mask. So to be clear, Fred Meyer Corp is putting there employees at risk without any type of protection against people not wearing masks. Other stores at the least have someone turning people away if they refuse to wear a mask. I was standing in the check out line and put at risk by a customer who refused to wear a mask and when I asked the checker why she didnt say anything to this man she informed me that she would get fired if she said anything. Telling me of another employee that got fired for asking a customer to wear a mask. This is terrible management and dangerous behavior in these sensitive times. I will be pursuing this further as a hostile work environment.

Do not EVER deal with the pharmacy at this Fred Meyer location. The waiting times for counter transactions are interminable. The staff is utterly inept. I highly recommend dealing with the Fred Meyer pharmacy at the Lakeway store.

Picked up a few groceries

Fred Meyers is Awesome all though some things that that are a little over priced for what they are. Not a lot of things but that happens everywhere. But, in all Fred Myers is one of my favorite stores it’s super convenient and for the most part affordable.

Staff is often rude, need more training, not helpful and endless excuses. Not to mention the over priced items. $40 for a pack of buy 1 get one free mens underwear is a cheap marketing scam. Cheaper underwear everywhere else. Clothes are cheap and often break. Produce often moldy or moldy within 24 hours. Dont buy Avenue sourdough bread here as the actual fresh stuff is not supposed to be hard as a rock. Many items overpriced. They dont offer many bulk or family size items and it seems they want you to over pay by buying multiple smaller items. Many other Fred Meyers have better products and cheaper. Lakeway at least have the friendly staff. I refuse to shop here anymore.

Love being able to shop for groceries, shoes, clothing, and pharmacy all in one place. They have a decent selection of natural, organic, and gluten free items. Its easy to get help if needed. The only thing Im not crazy about is the meat and fish, though my husband likes it fine.

Fred Meyers on Bakerview in Bellingham is a great store to get whats on your list today, as their advertising asks. There are competitive prices in all departments, and lots of sales as well. There always seems to be someone close by when you need help, and rarely do you have a long wait in line to check out.

I have been shopping at this Fred Meyers for about 10 years. It has always been very a good, reasonably priced store with helpful, well trained staff. The store was well stocked and had a good number of employees around to help. In the last several weeks it seems as though there are less staff on the floor and lots of areas that have not been restocked. Not sure what is going on there. I would have given this store 4-5 stars previously.

Grocery store shopping of choice for the past 10 years. The only downside I found was sales promoting buy 5 or buy 10 in order to get sale pricing which promotes spending maybe more monies than you should! All this self checkout will not make for happy employees.

I love shopping at Freddys.. With the exchange rate being high right now I have to be a little more careful but there are always bargains to be had. Most often they have Milk, Cheese, Eggs and Chicken on sale. This week they have a great sale on. Amongst other things their whole chickens and thighs were on for $. 88 cents a pound. Great for people on a tight budget and seniors like myself. Nice store and very friendly staff.

This had been my primary grocery store for almost 5 years. Ive stopped going because theyve added more self-checkout stations and decreased the number of cashiers working at any given time, causing huge lines every time I visit. The cashiers and baggers here had always been friendly and efficient. This new system is terrible AND takes jobs away from skilled workers.

Love Fred Meyer. I am Canadian and the FM rewards card is the only rewards cards I carry. You get great prices on gas with it. Lots of choice and great deals at times. Over the years the best was $5/lb T-bone steaks when dollar was at par. Lots of organic meats to keep my wife happy. Super spot deals on detergent, cleaners and facial products. We always stop on our way back to the border to see of there is an offer we cant pass up.

Grocery store with a clothing and home department. Spacious aisles. Have a nice deli and a great produce section. I find the parking lot a little tight but they have a very big gas station that can accommodate a lot of traffic. I dont like their paper bags, they have no handles which makes it impossible to carry all your groceries and that break quickly.

This is an excellent store. One stop shopping for all the things I am looking for. They have good prices and if you look at the clearance items, you can save even more. Also they have a large organic and specialty selection.

Lisa at the bakery is amazing! I was visiting with my husband who was there for work and we wanted chocolate strawberries but they were out. She totally made some fresh ones for us! So nice of her!

This store is completely committed to serve the customers well. The reason I have continued to come back here is because of the quality food, banking, convenience and excellent customer service. They are always well staffed unlike other grocery /retail stores in the area. They have a really good prepared and cut fruit, veggies and dips. I never leave the store without choosing a couple of those prepared items.

Fred Meyer remodeled a couple of years ago. They put in aisles that werent very wide, just enough room for two carts to pass. They added a new online order service which requires staff to move Large carts around to put the orders together. This really creates foot traffic problems. Now during the holiday season with all the additional shoppers it tests your patience.A few positives are the added wine tastings section, growler fill station, and an awesome deli section with a specialty area offering great cheeses, artisan breads, crackers, olives, meats, and seafood.

Well stocked, acceptable prices, occasionally helpful sales. Easy enough to navigate, isles are well marked. This is my mid range grocery store and I love it.

Clothes are pricy for what you get. The groceries are A good decent price. Gas rewards are good too. The cheese island is exceptional. They did wuss out and pull their firearms counter.

Very poor customer service model. Not enough checkers. Traffic Jams with carts. Obvious youre trying to force customers to self service . Very frustrating when those dont function correctly. Out of bags and well. Not enough staff to assist there either. Very frustrating at the end of the day after Ive done my job and now you want me to do someone elses.Thank goodness I have shopping options.

Easy to find. Large parking lot but its usually pretty crowded. Very good fresh fruit, fresh meats and fresh deli selection. Has regular check out cashiers as well as self check out. Highly recommend as one of the best grocier/clothing/home&yard combination stores in the area

Fred Meyer is a great place to go if you do not have a Costco membership. The cheese here is cheaper than any you will find in any store other grocery store. The big benefit is the cheese is locally sourced and you can get it for about $3 a pound. I would recommend this place for any Canadian that does grocery shopping in the states.

I love going to Fred Meyer. They have the best variety of all different foods from their vegetables and fruit to their dairy dept and all in between. They usually have whatever I need.

I find Fred Meyer to be a mixed bag. It can truly be a one stop shop with all the groceries, clothing, and other goods I need... but at a cost. Fred Meyers always seems to be a hair more expensive than their competitors with no real additional value.At the end of the day, I enjoy browsing around Fred Meyer, but for serious shopping, I look elsewhere.

Great store but good luck finding anyone to help you out when you need it. This place is definitely a one-stop-shop though. Very handy for getting everything on your list at one place. The prices are middle of the road and the convenience is usually worth it.

The store and customer service has always been a great place to shopHowever, the BAKERY needs to be revamped when it comes to staff. The older lady that runs it needs to be retrained or retired. When I asked a question she quickly started talking over me with a very “I know it all attitude”. Even if she does know it all, she needs to practice her communication skills so she learns to listen before talking over customers. She seems not happy therefore I was not happy with her.

Why is it they never have cars available for customers. I have been there 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Today Aug. 5th NO carts at either entrance again!!!!Went out and got my own car and then as I shop, floral dept. has 3 carts used for flowers, wine dept. had 2 filled with wine bottles, 2 carts in the freezer section filled with discontinued items. Checkout stations that were closed had empty carts blocking access...

Its like a WalMart Super Center, but much nicer. Great selection, great staff. Their regular prices can get a bit higher, but they have great ads, if you watch them you can save....

One stop shopping If you can find a parking spot. Busy place. Great selection of fresh food items. Mens and womens clothing department, all items for the home. Gardening dept as well.

The store is clean, and well laid out. Can usually find what Im looking for without going elsewhere. As a Canadian, I find it refreshing that the store is loaded with lots of North American produce (Canadian and American) rather than full of fruit from over seas. There is too much focus on over priced organics though - instead they should focus on sustainable, conventionally farmed, produce.

I love Fred Meyer! Im so happy to be back in the Pacific Northwest where I can shop for nearly everything I need in one place.Theyre helpful and courteous. Ill be back many times.

Great local grocery store you can find high quality items from cheeses to wine and even Housing supplies. Friendly customer service and they have a rewards membership program you can use for free!!!One thing I dont like thou is that its usually really crowded around 2-6pm so I try and avoid those times.

Closest and most convienent for my family. They have everything. Groceries, home goods, clothes, Flora dept., toys, home improvement... Including paints, and Nursery. They have an overly awesome staff.My only complaint is EVERY time I fall in love with something.... They discontinue that product!!!! So weird😏
