Very cool and laid back. Great selection of media. My daughter recently bought a used record player and we bought her first record there. Staff was awesome.
This place was so cool! Forrest was super amazing and helpful, Ill totally be back!
Large collection of all forms of media; records, tapes, shows, dvds and blu-ray. Can find some decent deals.
Great store! Never leave empty handed. The records are fairly priced and accurately graded. A handful of pretty slick rarities have made their way to my collection via EM!
A return to old school...Havent been to one of these on a long time! Great to see you can buy music for 5 bucks - STILL!!
Gives of a bit of a weird atmosphere but still plenty of choices of music
One of Bellinghams great record stores.
Great selection of vinil and cds. Friendly staff!
I just got back from your store, and y’all just have the most impressive collection of music. Super helpful, no judgement. 0 complaints
Were lucky to have this great record shop, but check the used CDs for scratches before you buy
Wife and I drove up from Everett to do some classic vinyl collectin 👍And OMG! This place did not disappoint!Great selection friendly knowledgeable staff. We Definitely Give a full Recommendation.
Long time Bham favorite! Huge selection, good prices, chill vibe. 👍
I shop there often, very good atmosphere with old rolling floors, filled with loads of good music and great staff.
Great service and rock selection!
Super nice people that dont judge when I buy lame music...lol
If you are still a fan of spinning your own silver discs for entertainment, Everyday Music has a great selection of used CDs and DVDs to browse through. We also sold some of our vintage CDs and DVDs for a very reasonable price. It would be cool if they also had the option to give store credit and give you a bit more back to spend like other used CD/DVD places weve been to. The employees there were friendly and efficient, which is always appreciated. The stock is ever changing, so well definitely be repeat shoppers at EM.
Good records, varying levels of price
I remember when this was Cellophane Square. Im glad this store still exists as a record shop.Staffed by true vinyl aficionados. Friendly and welcoming as always 👍Same great atmosphere I remember.
Good prices, friendly people
Cool place with a good selection.
Great place to hunt for music and videos.
A great record store!! I drive over an hour away to looks at the new and used CDs. Great and ever changing selections of all types of music. Reasonable prices too!
Decent selection and knowledgeable staff. A little pricey on new vinyl however, the rare finds are worth it. They have a great close out section and Ive found some hidden gems in the used section at great prices.
To try and keep it short: Ive been shopping at Everyday for years now and Ive always had mixed feelings about the store. On one hand their selection is pretty decent, that is, if youre not looking for anything too obscure. On the other hand, however, their people skills, personal recommendations, musical knowledge etc. are just embarrassing. The last time I went into the store was the last straw: I had gone in looking for some records of which they had none so I settled for a couple other records on my list. As I went to check out, the guy behind the counter, basically a caricature of a modern hipster, didnt even acknowledge me. He looked at the records and said you want a bag?. I said no thanks and no more words were spoken as he rang me up.Whatever happened to is there anything I can help you find? Or have you heard of this band?. Things like that are huge to me. Ill put it this way: I live 30 minutes south of Everyday and an hour north of another popular NW record store, Silver Platters. I would gladly make the longer trip and pay a couple dollars more for the same records that are closer and cheaper in Bellingham.Ill continue shopping at Avalon but you cant drag me back to Everyday.
Great place too pricey
My favourite go to place coming to the USA. A secret gem if you need things and your coming from Canada. A great group of ppl. Incredible selection I make sure I come visit few times a year.
Always fun to peruse this place. I found a copy for a Marvin Gaye album for which I had been searching for months. Great selection!
A bit pricey for new records but they have a really nice selection. They do carry some used items as well. They do take trades and sale items. Some Hi-Fi equipment is available up at the front if you need a turntable or other stuff. Dont know if they carry inner or outer sleeves for vinyl but Im sure they can help you Source them if you are in need.
Every time I come down from Vancouver I stop by Everyday Music in Bellingham. It has a large and diverse Vinyl collection. Ive bought many records here. They also have vinyl cartridges and record cleaners. The best part of any record store is that you never know what you will find. I recommend stopping by.
Great CD selectionSome at reasonable pricesBut dont expect more than 2$ for CD brought in for exchange
This place offers a lot of cool opportunities for young artists and music fans, and the record collection is fairly extensive and fairly priced. The downside however is the various staff members Ive interacted with for over 7 years. They are always so disinterested in what the customer has to say and never make me feel welcomed, and they seem to just want to get back to talking to each other behind the counter. This, plus flagrantly bad customer service, like how recently I paid for a turntable stylus that didnt end up fitting, even though the cashier said that all Audio Technica turntables use the same stylus. A mild slip up in most cases, but then they wouldnt let me return it because it was opened, even though it was not used in any way, and despite the staff member the day before said we could return it. This on top of several occasions where Ive gotten faulty new records I cannot return as well, has soured me on them a little. Still a cool music place to stop by downtown, just ignore the staff and do your research.
They have a decent selection of popular music, but thats it.The last time I was there, no music was playing in the store. That silence combined with the fact that the staff will go out of their way to speak to you as little as possible, makes for an uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience.Dont waste your time. Avalon is across the street, and I promise youll feel better about spending your money there.
I love this place. They have nearly any CD you can imagine, and most of them used, in great shape, and cheap. Vinyl selection is the best in town as well - with many new as well as a huge amount of old. Its also funny to note, they are always playing horrible music (drone, death metal, or bad indie demos) over their house system. It doesnt deter me at all, but its funny.
Wide selection of LP vinyl albums. Nice vibe.
My spouse always finds something in here with their amazing selection. Fun to browse for me too as Im not the avid collector as he is. Most spacious and organized as a lot of places where were from are a bit cluster phobic.
I had to pay 75 cents and wait 36 minutes when there website said they were open...... besides that they did have the movie Scarface.#cockroaches
I got the same experience like some previous customers, the only words I got out of one of the staff was that will $3.27. I bought one album. Then he bolted. There is a huge amount of vinyl. The Seattle storewas a better experience.
Great store. Always find some vinyl when I travel through. Lots of genres, you almost always find something obscure, that youve been looking for.
Great second hand store for music and movies. Can definitely spend a coupkenhours digging through everything
Really helpful. Very large music collection of both old and new, great place!!!
Great selection of used vinyl, CDs and VHS tapes. Well organized and curated. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. The prices are very fair.
Great selection of records, CDs, DVDs, and cassettes. Definitely worth stopping by if you have time :)
Great deals, iv probably spent $1k on blurays over the years in here
Good source for most types of music. DVDs as well. Prices are reasonable most of the time. Several good sales during the year.
Found some great CDs, nice little store with a large variety of music. Definitely one of the bigger record stores Ive been to.
Very cool staff. Nice. Huge selection. They buy CDs and DVDs.
Music store with great selection of CDs, vinyl, and movies on DVD and blu ray. They have awesome hours. I can easily spend an hour or 2 here and always find multiple items i want to buy.
EM has an extensive selection of new and used CDs and LPs. I always seem to find something that I wasnt looking for! The place is huge. Lots of fun on Record Store Day, too! Definitely worth a stop for anyone who loves music. Prices are really good too.
A nostalgic step back into the music of ones childhood
Largest vinyl collection in the town. Great selection from tapes to CDs. Everyone is friendly and full of great suggestions and conversation. I would be nothing if it werent for these wonderful people.
Place has been there forever, but under the name Cellophane Square. Great place to find rare music, sell your music, or browse the many aisles of CDs. Tons of genres. They will also order music you ask them for if they can.
I have purchased 4 records from this store and 2 of them played just fine, but the other two skipped around a lot and when I brought this to their attention, they blamed it on my record player even when it skipped on theirs too! They were very condescending and annoyed when I tried to exchange my records for something else and the one I just got yesterday in the exchange is also skipping! I was not impressed with the way they handled my complaints about the quality of their records and I probably wont buy a record from them again.
The best place around to purchase used CDs.
Huge record store! Tons of selection and very reasonable prices.
Bellingham staple. Can be pricey but also find great bargains
If you love music.. you will have a good time here.
Great selection of vinyl, I go there every time Im in Bellingham. Just got a Labyrinth poster there too, pretty fair pricing as well.
Honestly, I love this store. Many people are saying its akward and uncomfortable but i personally disagree. Everyday music may not be the place to go when you wanna make small talk, but the employees with never not try to help, they all love music and you can tell by the way they talk about it. They have a great selection of vinyls, cds, movies, posters, and plenty of other little quirky items. Everyday music is a great place to buy any of your music related necessities.
Best place to go listen to new music.
Has good selections bands that are hard to find
Huge selection, great deals, knowledgeable staff.
Brings me back to the wonderful days of the 90s with a great selection of CDs. I spent an hour and walked out with great deals on some great music. Cant wait to go back.
Appreciate being in a record/cd/DVD store. Few and far between, great selection.
Awesome knowledgeable staff, great selection of music and dvds
Cd and record stash
Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Wonderful collection of new and used from several genres.
Awesome members of our little community!
Excellent selection of pretty much everything. I could spend hours here.
Great place! I always end up spending too much time looking through everything.
Cool selection. But they sold us a cd with the wrong album in it. Also their stuff is severely over priced.
Cool that CD stores still exist. Good music fair prices
A great place to buy and sell all kinds of music and even movies!
If youre looking for vintage, special title, this place either has it or directs you to it.
You can find almost any music here. Things have wanted have been out of stock. You need to ask for help.
The folks at this location are tops! I bought new vinyl, got home, played it, & was so disappointed when it started skipping. Checked my needle, tried another record- no problem. -Put the new guy on again & it still skipped. Fü€k!! (I’m about an hour drive away from Bellingham, so I wasn’t stoked on driving back.. BUT I did, the next day.) The guy I talked to at the counter told me I could pick out something else, and while I was browsing he threw on my prior purchase. It played totally fine. I was stoked but also embarrassed.. They were cool about it though, and even offered a quick fix for my turntable. (New slip mat.) I popped it on when I got home, and you guys were right. That’s all it needed. Derp. Thanks so much for being so accommodating! I really appreciate it, & I’ll definitely pick up more new/used treasures next time I get back to Bellingham. Thanks again!Great selection. Decent prices. Super nice staff.
The staff are extremely rude and very unfriendly.but you can get great deals on used CDs
Staff is awesome and I always find something!
Can spend hours in there. Great place
Great place to find music and movies of old and new
Not the most inviting atmosphere or helpful staff, but good selection of merchandise.
There advertising is misleading. They do not buy any and all CDs as their signage and web page would lead one to believe. Apparently they are only after a choice few..
Everyday you need it. Everyday you dont you lose. Little sanity. Buy sell trade listen
Great selection of records both old and new.
Large selection, and some fun pre owned stuff. I always like stopping in even if I dont pick something up.
Good source of used and new music and tv/movies
It had a pretty exrensive collection, but its hard to find things unless you have specific bands youre looking for. Picked up some neat Zappa cds. They had records and dvds as well. You have to put any bags you have in a cubby, which is kinda understandable, but its literally right by the door and anyone can get to them, which was worrying. Overall, a huge place with a wide selection.
Great music selection and very pleasant to talk to.
They have a good selection of music - my go to place in Bellingham.
Lots of records, CDs, tapes, vhs, and DVDs. Awesome store.
Great selection and great prices especially for used dvds.
Dope collection of cassettes
Its a nice music store they a to z on the music.
Well organized. Huge selection.
Now that Avalon, is gone this is the last real music, store in Bellingham, they have everything including tape cassette, we have one old vintage car that take tapes.
The staff seems like they would prefer it if you didnt come in. If they speak to you at all, it is an absolute minimum. Selection is decent, but the staff make for an uncomfortable experience.
Great store..great employees
Going here since the cellophane square days and glad to see digital hasnt killed it.
Just a great, solid record store.
