Great customer service, I came in to get air in all 4 tires.

Kelvin, provided excellent service from answering my questions, acknowledgement when I arrived, even handling a yelling customer in parking lot, when I first arrived. He compared prices over the phone for new tires before I arrived as well. Waited a while for some tires for my car, but that was only because alot of cars ahead of me. I would recommend this Wheel Works if your in the area, like I was.

Went for alignment, was charged and car still pulled outrageously to the left. Called and asked why, was told I needed to replace CV for alignment to work. Spent about 200 bucks for nothing. Go somewhere else. Also recommended about 3k worth of service I didnt need, on top guys was lazy and rude. Go somewhere else.

Wheel Works of Belmont is super duper. The sales rep Adey was extremely helpful. She got me in and out of there as quickly as possible. The tech was also awesome. And the cost was very reasonable compare to the Wheel Works in San Mateo. Wheel Works of Belmont is my go to store.

Very helpful, and friendly staff. Huge plus that theyre open 7 days a week. And easy to find right on El Camino Real in Belmont. I had a flat tire on Sunday and was able to get it fixed.

I was told that I had a faulty rack and pinion after the alignment was done unsatisfactory. I had my mechanic replace the rack and pinion. Then I returned to Wheel Works to claim the year warranty on the alignment. It was still unsatisfactory and this time there was no suggested resolve. I was told to find an old mechanic who knew how to do it and I was not given a refund.

Quick and effective service. I got 2 tires changed and I was in and out in a matter of 5 hours.

The customer service was extremely helpful. There was a screw in my tire and i was able to come in at opening and my car was ready in time for school. The service advisor Toni was very accommodating.

Went to get my brakes done. they telling me I needed calipers and was going to charge me over $500 to replace them ........ Went and did my breaks myself Calipers were in perfect condition!!!!! These people are charging for services that don’t you need just to get extra money.

Known for quickly saying your tires need replacement. I don’t find them ethical and forthcoming. I took my car for a second opinion and they said my tires were fine. Don’t let them force you into tire replacement!Update 01/08/2020: I made an online reservation for wheel alignment (8am). I arrived at 7:55am and was greeted by a miserable and rude service adviser (this guy should not be in a customer facing role). I watch for an hour as my vehicle just sat there. This is just terrible service!! Bryce and Tony are always great though.

Wheel Works in Belmont continues to be the go to tire specialist (and more) on the Peninsula. The staff is knowledgeable and efficient, and does super work. Today I had a continuation of a pesky tire pressure auto warning light problem that took me to three different locations to solve. They did a thorough investigation that took more than an hour, found the problem and fixed it with NO charge! Truly awesome. I highly recommend Wheel Works in Belmont for their high quality service and their honesty.

I bought my tires here, and recently before leaving for a road trip I noticed they were put of balance. I stopped by the morning I was going to leave, and they had everything fixed before lunch!

Service: I had an 8am appointment to get 4 new tires and didnt leave until 10:15am. If I was a walk-in that would be perfectly acceptable, but not when I had an appointment that I arrived on-time for. Main reason for my low marks on service.Appeal: The waiting room chairs are positioned to face out the window. This sounds like a good idea until the rising sun is blinding you the whole time.

I went in for an oil change. I was told I needed tires. Everybody seemed nice. The service was longer then expected. When I got home I noticed something scratched one side of my car by the tire and a hit on the other side. One technician tried to cover it up with what seemed to be white out or something. I called to figure it out and everyone just played dumb. I will never do back to this place and will be sure to check my car next time I get work done.

For tires and simple work like brakes and alignment these guys are good and reasonably priced. For more complicated work that requires diagnosis, my experience indicates they are not the best place to take your vehicle (I saved myself $1300 in unnecessary work by getting a second opinion of a noise that was classic CV failure; WheelWorks thought it was the front struts which turned out to be in fine shape).

These guys are awesome.I realized I had a flat around 6:30pm on a Friday night and wouldnt make it back up to SF without getting it fixed. I tried the first Wheel Works I came across in San Mateo and unfortunately they were closing up. They recommended I go see the Belmont store, but not before fully inflating the tire to make sure I got there.Juan over in the Belmont store was extremely helpful, even though they fully booked and it was approaching closing time. Unfortunately for me they didnt have my tire in stock, but they were able to order it for delivery the next day. They let me stay beyond closing while my ride arrived and I couldnt be happier with the service.Highly recommend.

Horrendous service. They claimed my car would be done in 30-45 mins. Its been 2 hours and my car is still sitting in the lot, untouched.I dont mind that theyre busy. But honesty would have been good- because of Wheel Works, Ive had to flake on a meet-up that was much more important than mounting tires.Come here if you can drop off your car. Avoid if you have a life outside of sitting at mechanics shops.

Good job on tire change. Tire shine is a bonus just wish they clean off the brake dust too. Steering wheel was dirty when I got my car back.

I came to fix a flat tier. I left the tier and came back two hours. After i paid the guy came and wanted to put the tier i trunk. I asked them why they dont install the tier back and they told me if i want it installed i have wait for 30-40 minutes.The flat tier service is removing the defective tier, fix it and install it back. Its not like i am asking for a favor. My complaint is why have to wait 30-40min for a service which really takes 2-3 minutes. There are four guys in the shop. Not happy!Edit: i talked to

This store stayed open to help one of my clients that was in a bind. I really appreciated it, as well as the member, who was able to get safely back on the road. Thanks for the assistance, Wheel Works went the extra mile!

The service team is very rude and apparently unqualified to inspect vehicles and explain the invoice of charges. I took my car in mainly for loudly squeaking brakes and a check engine light indication. When I got the call I was told my car was all set to pick up at which time I asked what service was done and the guy refused to answer any questions over the phone and told me everything could be explained when I get there. Once at the shop, I was told nothing was wrong with my brakes, they had no idea what the check engine light indicated (although I could simply google the code later) and there was nothing wrong with my car, but I was still charged for the inspection. When I tried to ask a few follow up questions about both, the service guy was very rude and basically said he had no answers and they could not tell me anything. I can understand an inspection charge when nothing is wrong, however, immediately as I left the shop, I heard and felt the brakes loud and clear as before. Not only was this a waste of time and money, I will again need to waste additional time and money to take my car to another shop. These guys are either incompetent in automotive service, or lazy.

So I went in on a Saturday to get a tire patched and as expected they were pretty busy. Unfortunately it was an emergency so I went along with it. They told me it would be finished later that day since its only one tire. They never called to tell me they finished. So I decide to go in the next morning and what do you know, no one is there even though its suppose to be open. They ended up being closed all of Sunday because of a family emergency but for some reason couldnt inform me. I ended up having to rush there early Monday morning and ended up being late for work. And to top it off they charged me full prize and tried to up-sell me on a different tire.

I really appreciate the free diagnostics. They found complex battery issues with my Prius at no charge because a dealer was needed to fix it. Great break jobs on Lexus and Porsche SUV. I have also used them Uber inspections.

These guys were very impatient and rude to me, refusing to answer simple questions. Regardless of the quality of service or product, people deserve to be treated like people.

Just awful. They quoted a price over the phone and then, once we came in for tires, said that the quoted price was incorrect - and that the tires werent even in stock. Further, they tried to upsell a second tire which was not yet in need of replacement. Basically a bait and switch. Terrible.

Really.... this bad...!! I had a spare tire on my car needed to purchase a new tire and I went here because I always do when I need new tires but, the lady who assisted me wasnt that friendly and helpful. She asked me what did I needed I told her my problem she said sorry I cant help you go somewhere else maybe the guy down the street can help you I cant. The way she looked at me I felt discriminated Im going to report this incident it cant happen again.Btw I went to another wheel works at San Mateo by el camino real by o railly stated the same issue they were very friendly streamly busy but, let me know that but were willing to help me. They told me they had lots of orders before me but they were going to help me.

Very expensive and not convenient payment system. Changing just one tire charged me for $167. And I wanted to make the payment over the phone, they did not accept my payment. I tried to solve problem with Wesley over the phone, he wasnt helpful at all. I do make payments over the phone ALL THE TIME. First business ever requires me to be present to pay or they will not give the car to the driver.
