I purchased from too good to go. I received an expired chocolate and a stale bread. I asked the store clerk about the chocolate and she refused to provide a non expired item. She said they always give items that are beyond sell by on too good to go.Its heartbreaking to see business miss representing what too good to go should be: serve meals (not expired) to people in need, save food and be generous to others.I can only wish this place will as successful as their stale bread they offer to people.Definitely never going back there.

Great selection of cheese and little gourmet treats. They helped me out with a last minute gift basket that was a big hit. Plus they will keep a list of the cheese you buy so you can always get what you like or try something new. Recommended!

A great local shop that keeps getting better. They often have wine tastings which are well attended. Friendly staff and a knowledgeable wine buyer makes it well worth a visit. Parking can be a challenge, but think of it as an opportunity for a few more steps in your day.

This is an excellent local shop for everything you need for a fancy cocktail or wine party. In addition to an extensive stock of wine and liquor the knowledgeable staff are there to help you pick out the perfect pairings from their selection of cheese, meats, and crackers.

What a wonderful little shop with tastefully stocked items. I stop by to pick up a bottle of wine and lots of stinky wonderful cheese during the week or before heading over to Spy Pond for a picnic. Laura and John are so kind and approachable if you need help choosing. There is free 1 hour street parking.

Cushing Square in Spring 2019 is very much a corner under construction. There are a lot of cute and special stores here including one of the last 5&10s! Boutiques, framing, bank (of course) gas stations, UPS store, Late hours variety store, barber and The Spirited Gourmet: wine beer sandwiches and gourmet cheeses. Bus stops to Harvard square and to Waverly Train station.

A nice shop with good product and friendly, knowledgable staff. Staff is approachable and will help make informed, non-pushy recommendations while accommodating your budget. Prices are fair as well. The selection of wine is more curated with some good finds not available in other local shops. Ill definitely return.

Excellent local shop for wine, beer, spirits, cheese, sandwiches, chocolate and other luxury food items.The beer selection is decent but lacking in local microbrews. Im not a wine enthusiast, but the selection is large and seems quite good.The cheese selection is well curated and rotates often. It goes well with the freshly baked bread from Iggys.Its hard not to fill a basket every time I go here.

Fine store with a nice but sparse selection of beer, wine, liquor, and gourmet food. Found the refrigerated beer selection very sparse but did have enough that I was able to buy what we needed. Staff was very friendly and the cheese tasting was fun.

The Spirited Gourmet is Great! Dave and the staff are awesome whether you need a bottle of wine for a gift or you just want a bottle to drink that night. Great selection of gourmet foods as well.

They know their wines and cheeses. Nice layout, large selection and surprisingly reasonable on the prices (wines and speciality alcohol).

Good wine guy to ask for help, prices generally, some deals if you look. Tastings are fun and frequent. Cheese etc also very good. High end election of other spirits.

I am a wino and I love this place! Nick, the wine buyer, always brings in some new & interesting wines and hes a walking wine encyclopedia. The free tastings are great -- you get a discount on wines tasted and there is no minimum purchase.

Theres a lot of positives about this place. First and foremost the Staff is always welcoming and extremely knowledgable. Ill provide a situation, they provide the wine. They also have a great selection of cheese and foods to pair with your libationations. I have ordered hard to find liquors in the past and other times Ill simply stop in for a tasting. I highly recommend the Spirited Gourmet.

The Spirited Gourmet is a tremendous wine shop, specialty food store, and deli in Belmont. My wife and I (and kiddo) go almost every weekend to enjoy one of the free wine tastings and always leave with a bottle or three. The small deli and cheese counter provides some great sandwiches, along with a well-curated selection of cheeses. We often pick up a few small deli items to make a dinner.The wine selection is approachable, but doesnt fall into the trap of providing boring standards. They have a particularly astute selection of French and Italian wines. However, if youre into trying new styles or different takes on classic grapes, you will not be disappointed. I have purchased everything from a Chateauneuf du Pape to a Txakoli to a Tokaji Furmint Sec. They also have some interesting liquor and ciders.The folks who run the store are incredibly generous and kind. My excursion here is often the highlight of my week.I lack sufficient superlatives to do this place justice. A must go.
