I have been dealing with Foley for years now, maybe 20 by now. The service has always been prompt, calls returned right away, even after hours (and I have had to call after hours a few times). Everyone that Ive dealt with has been friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They have delivered oil and serviced my dinosaur of a boiler for years. It finally came time to get the boiler replaced. I got quotes from 4 different companies for both oil and propane systems. I opted for propane, and since I trust Foley completely - I selected them to do the job.I live in a 240 year old house, stone foundation, with low ceilings and a wet basement. It is not a pleasant part of the house!! Because Im so close to the water table, I always get water in the basement in the spring. The job was scheduled to start Monday this week. With all the rain weve had this month (at least 10 here), the basement has lots of water in it, and mud that had washed in through the walls. I suspected this might be the case, so I pumped out the basement. The crew showed up on time and jumped right in, despite the wet, the mud and so on. They had to run the pump off & on for two days. There were certainly some challenges, but I never heard a complaint or a single cuss word. (If it were me, I would have sounded like a sailor for 3 days!!!) The managed to get the job done in 3 days - as was projected. They kept us with hot water every night when they left, and they cleaned up a huge mess.Today it was inspected and passed! I know Im going to save a substantial amount of money on heating and hot water right away, and will see my investment pay for itself in a matter of a few years.I cant thank the team at Foley enough. This job was done in very adverse conditions, done on time, for the price as quoted - even though there were a few extras Im sure.If you are looking for a family owned business, that really cares about its community and its customers, that is professional and courteous, that you can depend on - look no further than Foley Oil.(Pics below, out with the old, in with the new!!)
I have been a Foley Oil & Propane customer for about 8 years and their service has always been excellent. Last year after I moved to another town they replaced my oil heating system and their workmanship was top notch. My house also uses propane and I had Foley replace the old tanks that were left behind by the previous owner (and another propane company). The job was done very well and was complimented by the fire chief when he inspected the work. Recently I had them connect my gas grill to the houses propane system and that job was well done also. Foleys staff is friendly, responsive, great to work with and proficient, and I can always count on them to take care of whatever I need quickly and professionally.
Whoever was driving a Foley Oil Co. pick up truck on Batchelder Hill Rd in Meredith on April 23rd drove me off the road with my small child in the back seat. They were either having a road rage or were drug impaired. My husband would like to talk to you face to face.
Theyre honestly amazing, Im a very very hard critic of todays world and todays service provided but this company here has superb employees and a great owner, they have always been willing to squeeze me into their routes last minute even if I called the day before they would do their best to get it to be as quickly as possibly. The owner has even come out day of contact because I ran out of oil, it was passed their normal hours.. The pricing is comparible to any other oil company but the service is light years beyond anyone in the area. HIGHLY recommend. 5/5.
Great local service. Personal service from people you can speak with directly and promptly. Great people, great price, great service. What else is there? Thanks Foley Oil & Propane!
Foley Oil has always been super helpful and quick to respond to any question I have. Jeff is the best, all I do is shoot him an email saying I need oil and he responds right away. I tried other companies and there customer service was awful. Definitely recommend Foley.
I had these guys for a couple years and thought they were OK but a bit spendy. When I need my tank replaced, they quoted me $4,000... twice as much as the next highest bid. Their auto delivery was very expensive as well, asking me to pay almost $2500 spread out over the year to cover $1,500 worth of fuel. The last straw was the tune up of my three year old boiler. Foley wanted $300, Huckleberry did it for $150, replaced my tank for $1800 and their oil is 15 cents a gallon cheaper.
I am absolutely not happy with this company. I hired them to deliver oil on Monday but they couldnt deliver until Friday morning. Before delivering they insisted on checking out my system which was not a problem however the previous owners of the house boxed in the oil tank and left only a few access panels. They finally came Friday morning right before the assessor was due and decided that the access panel wasnt big enough to see through and refused to deliver oil. They NEVER called me to tell me this. I called them to find out what time they were to deliver because the assessor was there and there was no heat for the house. I was told they were under the impression nobody was living there so it wasnt important enough to call me to tell me they refused to deliver oil. It has been 20゚ at night with no heat in the house for over a week. I am frustrated and not impressed.
I will never do business with these thugs again.
Great company to deal with.Fast, friendly & professional
Called because my furnace was blowing cold air, didnt realize my tank was empty, duh! Within minutes Steve dispatched a driver who filled the tank and restarted the burner. I have been a Foley customer for over 20 years and they never let me down (or make me feel stupid) ☺
I knew several people that worked at Foley oil co. Not a nice place to work at. Trickle down misery they would tell me. Unhappy workers = marginal work quality.
Not a good company. I dont trust the owner. Hes a snake in the grass.
Great Service and Pricing
