Customer service is extremely helpful. We had a problem with our unit and they got it resolved within a day. The building is clean and well lit. Ive never had a problem with the elevator or gate not working. Id definitely recommend this facility.

This is the cleanest, most well-operated storage facility I have ever used or been to in 50 years of using or visiting one. In the 8 yrs we used this one, I can’t remember more than two or three times that I even saw any kind of trash or junk laying around. Those few times I noticed, it was gone the next day. Also, the staff there has always been courteous and professional whenever I needed to speak with them or needed help with access. Only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars was price. It did get expensive and rates climbed steeply in those 8 years.

Dont even think about storing your things here. They cant keep it safe. So many storages were stolen from this past weekend including ours. Every thing was taken. We have to file a police report. Dont go here.

Have been storing my belonging here for about 14 years. We just moved with short notice. I have auto payment, and the payment was due yesterday.I am moving out all of my things tomorrow. I called and explained my situation to Sherry. She was very understanding and helpful. She reversed my transaction and just charged me for the three days left in the unit. I have had nothing but good experiences with this location.

Good: very clean. Bad: Elevator doors close too quickly, you have to enter a code everytime you use the elevator, all this and its over priced.

Great storage facility! Secure access all day, right off the freeway, seems pretty new, everything is metal and concrete, big elevator to access upper floors. The manager was friendly and helped me pick the right unit, plus the leasing process was super easy and all electronic. I was in and out in 30 minutes.

Extra Space was everything one would want from a storage facility. Safe, working elevators, clean, carts readily available, gate hours from early morning to late night, not located in a sketchy neighborhood, affordable rates & best of all, great office staff.

After calling several Storage companies to rent a 10x20 and leaving voicemails with no return calls. I was fortunate to call the Burlingame location. They didn’t have what I needed but a representative went the extra mile to secure a space for me in Belmont. This storage facility is just what Ive been looking for..I had to find a unit fast and I came across extra space.great price, great location right off the freeway, well lit, clean, all units be have roll up doors, extended hrs... but the best thing about the place was the level of service they provide. They really went above and beyond to make the move in as smooth as possible and Shari really made me feel welcome... She even gave me a jump start because I was stranded when my battery died and I had forgotten my phone.I highly recommend this facility. Just make sure you ask for Shari. She really made my complicated situation a pleasant experience!

This storage space is clean and easy to access. It feels very secure and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I’m only bummed my rent has been raised twice and I’ve only been renting for about 6 months. But it seems standard practice in the storage space world.

This review is about Kelsie. And for the owner of extra space storage. It is a surprise to me as to why Kelsie DOES NOT HAVE HER OWN STORAGE FACILITIE? Kelsie hands down second to none is what I would call a top notch employee. When I see Kelsie at the Belmont storage she is always working either cleaning up the property or on the computer. Kelsie is always I mean always staying busy doing something. As a business owner my self that is what you want in every employee hired. What most impressed me with Kelsie is hearing Kelsie talk with another tenant. Kelsie is the first employee I heard say to my neighbor that she was walking over to where my storage was because it looked to her that it was my neighbors storage that was open. So Kelsie discreetly as she was working made sure there was no funny business taking place. When I heard Kelsie say that I had to stop what I was doing and meet with Kelsie. Talking with Kelsie I was most impressed with her dedication and commitment to the company and her job duties. If I had a store facility Kelsie hands down will be the ideal person I would want running it! When you read this and I trust you will. Good help is hard to find. This I know first had! Kelsie is the type of employee you want running your storages if you have more than one. When you do give Kelsie her own storage to run which you should do asap before you loose her. If it is close enough for me I will pack up and rent from her with no hesitation what so ever! Kelsie keep up the marvelous work! Owner dont let that one get away! I see Kelsie having 100% occupancy in her storages. And they will be long term. Thats the key to renting. Long term. I myself will have no problem paying in as far advance as I possibly can. If you didnt know? Now you do!

OUR UNIT GOT BROKEN IN TWO TIMES IN TWO DAYS! Almost all stuff got stolen, the claimed security is just ridiculous. The manager and stuff is super rude and can do nothing to help, using this storage is hosting a for-free party for all your stuff. DO NOT TRUST THEM

There are literally homeless people living in the storage units. When I went to mine, they had spread all of their stuff out in front of the elevator. They were blocking the entrance to the building and both lanes to the other units. They had chairs, a camping stove, little dogs that wouldnt stop barking, and they had propped the gate open permanently so there was no security and the alarm sounded every few minutes.

Extremely helpful, even when I was stuck in a different country they figured ways to help me.

First off, the gentlemen that helped me, Kirk was a pleasure to deal with, kirk was knowledgeable, friendly, and polite, there was no sales pressure on renting the storage unit.Before going to Extra Space Storage, I called other storage companies, and Extra Space Storage was by far the best deal in town!I got a ground floor unit inside with the first month free! I thought there might be a catch with the first month free, but there wasnt any.I have made 2 loads to the unit already, and it went very smooth, they have 2 entrances, and one was always open, we used their flat carts to move the items into the unit, and they worked very well plenty big enough, they look brand new, and run smooth, also, this place is as clean as a whistle,another good point, kirk said he would pro rate the rent when I am going to leave, and I would not have to pay for a full month.Yes I would recommend Extra Space Storage.Sincerelyphillip Fitting.

Sherry with her voice will always make you feel no matter what the situation is its going to be ok! I am so very impressed with Sherry and Sal, who manage this facility. Sal rented me the unit and was extremely helpful with all of the paperwork and showing us around.I ran into some problems with getting the unit emptied and Sherry worked with me and couldnt have been more helpful if she tried. She answered a multitude of questions as my situation became more and more complicated, often having to find other people for the information because the questions were so peculiar.If I had a business where I needed people to work with the public, they would be the first people I would hire. Spectacular customer service and very easy to work with.If I ever need storage in the future, in California, I would rent from them again, in a heartbeat.

Her clarity of the product left me without question or doubt, and if I were to have a concern, I wouldnt hesitate to inquire because of the rapport she quickly made with me.
