Our front area was a mess! I called 3 landscapers and Casey from Green Acres was the only one to return my call. He planned a lovely selection of bushes and plants for my mess of an area at a reasonable cost. The “2 Jose’s” who planted and mulched the area were pleasant, friendly and hard-working. They even trimmed a small tree for us to make it look nicer. Everyone was courteous and took pride in their work. Hire them! You will not be sorry.

This is the best lawn service we have ever used! Before they started treating my lawn it was thinning so badly that I had to reseed it for 3 years straight. They started treating it last year and it is the thickest it has ever been in the 20 years I have lived here. I get compliments all the time about how green and beautiful my lawn is. Ive been using Green Acres Lawn Care for 5 years now, they treat my yard for weeds, fertilize, and over seed every year. This year we decided to have Green Acres clean up and re-do our flower beds. We couldnt be happier, the crew was on time, they were very courteous, and best of all they did a fantastic job.I would recommend Green Acres to anyone that wants to get their yard in shape and keep it looking GREAT.

They cut my lawn twice. The third week they didnt show up to cut my lawn but still charged me. I thought maybe they were a day behind, so i waited a day to call. When i did call i was told that they will not reverse the charge and wont come out until the next cut day. NO ONE SHOULD PAY FOR SERVICE THEY DONT RECEIVE. Nice, honest people who do great work

Had them do a job with creating an erosion control in my back yard for the dogs. They charged me for material that was not used. They dumped stone on my driveway when told to dump in the yard. Since it was dumped on my driveway, they scuffed up the driveway that was just resealed a month prior. Now I have to pay to have my driveway reasealed. Also most of their vehicles drip oil so be careful. On the matter of using the wrong material, I threatened to take them to court and the owner was not very receptive to doing it and actually said he has never been taken court. My stone job did exactly what i told them would happen when they used the wrong matter, it did move with the resent rain! Still talking to my lawyer on this matter and might entertain this matter because my driveway is a mess and I had to moved some rock around. This job was not worth the price and hassle I paid. Would not recommend this company and will absolutely never use them again.

This is our first summer using Green Acres Lawn Care on the recommendation from several neighbors, and we couldn’t be happier with the way our lawn has been completely revitalized! When we moved into our house, the lawn was lush and green and helped us decide that this was our house. After fifteen years with no service and a do-it-ourselves plan, our lawn was filled with weeds, clover and ugly bare spots.After 1 year of regular service with Green Acres, our lawn is beautiful, lush and green again.They have helped us with many services; spraying, rolling the lawn and weeding and planting. I was really happy with Green Acres when they provided weed control and fertilizer to our lawn last year. This year when they filled in some areas with topsoil and seeded an area of our property we werent so happy. The new area that they seeded is completely full of weeds.

I came in right at closing time to buy mulch, I was told that they were closed but they would still deliver to my house because it was supposed to rain the next few days! I discovered Green Acres after being with a competitor for a very long time. Green Acres has ALWAYS came through even during short notices. If there was a problem they are professional and the problem is resolved within hours. I was pleased with the work they do that I now have them taking care of the property I work at. Well, when I called them and asked if they would come out and look at cleaning up my lawn, they said they would be there in the morning. We waited all day for them but they neither called nor showed up. Very bad business.

First I would say stay away from this company. If you disagree or argue with them, they will dismiss you and the problems they caused.This company was new to me. After my third application, I noticed a huge burn spot (4ft x 2ft). I called the company to let them know. Someone did come out and applied seed. I watered the area every day only to see the grass grow in spots. There were bare areas and the grass that did grow was a different texture from the rest of my lawn. What an eyesore!I was communicating with Casey, Quality Assurance Assistant Manager. He was professional at the beginning. Then he got rude when I pushed back when he started to critique my lawn. Hmm, didnt your company come out three times and each time they wrote nothing in the recommendations section?! How about addressing the burn spot? I told him I was stopping their services.My neighbor who recommended them told me to try them again. I was hesitant but thought I will give them another chance. I e-mailed Casey and told him I was going to try their services again and for someone to come out and address the burn spot again. I never heard from him. After a week I called their office and spoke with someone telling her I was going to try their services again and needed someone to come out and address the burn spot.Well, shortly after that I received an e-mail from Stephanie, the office manager stating, We really appreciate your willingness to give us another chance. However, I’ve given this a lot of thought, and I have come to the conclusion that we are not the best fit for your needs. We never like to lose a client, but it’s important that you have the best company who can best match your vision and expectations.First, I would hardly say there was a willingness on my part. Second, the we are not the best fit for your needs means what?? .....have the best company who can best match your vision and expectations means what?? How about having little to no weeds, greener grass, no burn spots. How simply is that?!This office manager is delusional. Does she even know what her companys vision and expectations are? Maybe she should read her own companys website where it says Our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.There are many other great companies out there. This just isnt one of them. I was a fool to listen to my neighbor to try them again. Stephanie actually did me a favor by saving me to not have them as my lawn care company again. I guess the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee is just BS. I am now left with a big area of my lawn that they destroyed.

Only company I’ve seen that are trying to pick leaves up when there frozen to ground!! Didn’t try to come pick up leaves during the week it was 40-50 degrees out! They wait till it’s 22 degrees out and then try to suck leaves up!! It dose t seem like common sense to me but..................

Green Acres is the most professional lawn care service Ive dealt with yet. From estimate to first cutting, the process was quick and painless. They are mindful of not just the look of my lawn, but of my property as well; they are always careful around the structures and landscaping in my yard.They are also extremely fast! This was our first time hiring a landscape company. We were looking to put down sod in our backyard. We have several low areas that fill up in the rain and 2 large breed dogs. [Growing grass from seed just does not work with dogs.] Our quote included laying sod & creating formal beds in other areas and covering the beds with mulch. The work was done yesterday and is absolutely beautiful! We wish we had done it sooner! Vince and the landscape crew did a wonderful job!

Ive used Green Acres for my lawn care for several years, my lawn has never looked better. Ive also had them do landscaping (Brick work & retaining wall) and they did a fabulous job. I couldnt be happier! I was concerned that my lawn was ruined because of the equipment that was necessary to do the job destroyed my grass BUT, the seed he laid grew like Ive never seen before. I have had zero issues with this company and more than enough positive experiences. First, their customer service is superb. They answer their calls and respond to e-mails in more than a timely fashion. Their workers are always careful with the lawn (and anything you may have accidentally left in it). They are there when they say they will be. My lawn went from a weed jungle to something I would actually be proud of. I highly recommend this company.

Driveway coating was applied: Price was fair and they gave a reasonable life expectancy of product they applied. They arrived when they said they would and the people that did the work were friendly and courteous. I have dealt with them prior to this for some landscape reconstruction needs and they have done what they promised and as things go sometimes glitches happen but they stood behind their work and made good. This is why Id recommend them.

Green Acres has been an outstanding lawn service company. They worked with on scheduling aapointments and always stayed on track. They always communicated any issues with me directly. After addressing my crab grass concerns in late 2015 the yard started out in good shape for 2016. I had very little crab grass issues this year and when I did start to get some Green Acres took care of it right away. They just recently aerated my yard and hopefully this will help the yard to fill in even better. I was a little disappointed that we didnt do it earlier so I could have seeded the yard as well. Green Acres does a good job and I plan on using them again next year.

This is the best fertilizing service I have ever used.

They did everything I needed and made sure it was done in time for my daughter graduation party. This wasnt an easy task with all the rain and other contractors being delayed because of weather. So happy with them I had them do my second house. They are real and honest. This is a rarity today.

I first contacted Green Acres on a Monday to request an estimate to clear out the excessive growth on my rental property and explained in detail of what I needed to have removed. They stated that they would be out that Friday. When that Friday came along, I contacted them that evening to ask about the estimate and they stated that they didnt make it to the property and then asked what it was that I wanted to have done again. I re-explained what I needed done and they said that they would get back to me on another date to look at the property. I didnt hear from them in a few days so I hired someone else.I understand that sometimes things falls through the cracks and gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked them to estimate resealing the driveway. They contacted me with a quote and took down my financial information and was told that I was put on their work schedule but never gave me a date. This was ok as I needed this done within the next week or so and assumed they would contact me when the work was complete. Unfortunately they never showed up. I opted not to contact them again to ask what happened as this was twice that they dropped the ball. I read that Green Acres does good work but they need to improve on their customer management and scheduling processes.

Lawn care/ Landscaping is not cheap regardless of what company you go with. Last fall I was working long hours and did not have time to take up all the heavy leaves in my yard. My experience has been when there are heavy leaves piled up in your yard through the winter, it results in dead spots in the grass the following spring. I didn’t want the dead spots, and my grass is now nice and green this spring (May 2017) thanks to all the leaves removed by GREEN ACRES last fall. I love doing my own lawn work when time allows. When time does not allow, I recommend GREEN ACRES.

Do not use this service. They submitted an invoice for hours that they did not work -14 man hours vs the 9 they actually worked. During the dispute, the management was rude, and had a take it or leave it attitude. They actually hung up on me. In the end, they just ran my CC. There are plenty of other landscapers out there that want repeat business, I would suggest that you use them.

Well by late summer my yard was not looking so hot. I ask them to look at it. I sent a few pictures. And Scott called me right away and gave me a diagnosis. Just by looking at my pictures! I was skeptical, but I okd a fungus application and aeration service. And seeding. Which he explained everything to me. I am now looking at a green lush carpet!!! I have never seen my yard look so beautiful!! And they are so reasonably priced. I cant thank them enough for everything!! Thank you Scott! So professional.

We used Green Acres to install our Christmas lights for the last two years. They do a great job and are not only professional and very responsive, they truly value their customers opinions. Not once did they try to force us or talk us into something we didnt want and they really listened to what we were asking for and delivered! We will be using them as long as they are still in the Christmas light business!

The Outdoor Pest Spray is amazing!! They sprayed during the day and the mosquitos were no where to be seen by the night. It is great having a reliable company for the pest spray and fertilization program!

Very honest folks to work with

So far - so good. I am switching from another provider that i had for about 11 years. They were no longer paying attention to my lawn when issues were obvious. I contacted Green Acres, they were prompt, we negotiated a care agreement, I invited them to aerate my lawn last fall which went well -- and now looking forward to their service in the spring.

Not happy! The workmanship was adequate, but the final price was way above my expectations.

Prompt service with our aeration and first lawn treatment. The guys did a great job of weeding and trimming back our flower beds, too. We had sealcoating done, too, which I know nothing about. Completely satisfied after Casey explained our larger cracks just couldnt be corrected with sealcoating or rubber alone. My suggestion -keep up with your sealcoating before cracks get out of hand.

Ive been using Green Acres for 3 years now and I highly recommend their services. Their rates are very reasonable and I havent had any issues with my lawn and I havent seen any more Japanese beetles around my trees and bushes since they started spraying. One less thing for us to worry about.

We use to use Tru-Green but there wasnt any personal touch. We had a problem and the contact person was in Houston, TX. Green Acres is a local company that prides itself in making the customer want to do business with them. Josh has handled any issue we have had with professionalism. I highly recommend Green Acres to anyone needing landscape or hardscape work.

As far as the actual service goes, Id say they are decent. Their workers are nice. However, our experience with their customer service has been poor. After their workers did something to our yard we hadnt asked for, Casey and his secretaries expressed no interest in acknowledging that they had messed up and staunchly refused to make things right in any way. They sounded angry/irritated at us on the phone (despite us being calm, polite and respectful), and blamed us for the mistake. It seems they dont really care if they lose you as a customer. Weve chosen to stick with them for now just to get through the season, as we were already scheduled and didnt have time to look elsewhere. However most likely we will look elsewhere next year. Id prefer to give my business to a company that actually appreciates it and wants to make the customer happy!

Yard was not great to start with but after first year I started to grow big black mushrooms made the yard look really bad. Going to use one more year if no change going to take my business to someone new. Gave to stars only because they call day before applications.
