How do I even begin expressing the love my husband + I have for Tara?Back in October of 2019 we flew over to Bend (from FL) to check out some vendors, see our venue, + do a tasting with a very well known local bakery. Much to our disappointment, I arrived at the bakery to find 4 very dried out cupcakes, no one to assist me, + anything but a tasting. (Yes, we had discussed a tasting via email weeks in advance; they knew we were coming.) As we drove around waiting for our next appointment my mom stumbled on these same reviews for Crumb Cakery + emailed Tara. Although we were unable to meet her on that trip, my mom insisted that she just [had] a good feeling about Tara so we should come back once more before the wedding to meet her. Mothers intuition... Spot on!!In January, after some shifts to our wedding plans, we made a trip out to Bend + met with Tara for a tasting. THIS WAS A TRUE TASTING!! From trying out multiple combinations to being encouraged to create our own; not to mention how absolutely delicious everything was. WE WERE SOLD! To be honest, we had not even wanted a cake but the family had pushed us to get one. As life would have it after the tasting we were reluctant to pick a flavor so we ended up choosing two for the cake + designing an entire dessert table for all 15 people (including ourselves) that would be attending the wedding.For months Tara + I messaged back and forth on how to bring this table to life + since we are from out of town she even made a run to Homegoods to pick out some display trays for us. Talk about going above + beyond! The sweets became one of our most anticipated parts of our wedding + our family could not wait to taste it all. The table display was gorgeous, everything tasted amazing, + the three boxes of leftover sweets were eaten the day following the wedding leaving us with only one box carrying our top tier to be taken back to FL with us for our anniversary!Tara is a dream to work with, a true pastry chef, + artist. If I lived in Bend, Id go to her for all my confection needs. Please do not hesitate to contact her for whatever you need. You will not regret it!Thank you so much for everything, Tara. We love you!

Our cake exceeded our expectations and our guest enjoyed the flavors very much! The colors and marbling came out wonderful and matched with our wedding colors perfectly!One of my Bridesmaids has a soy allergy and Crumb Cakery was willing to work with us to ensure we had an option for her allergy.I highly recommend Crumb Cakery to everyone!

Tara made the desserts for our wedding at Tetherow on August 25, 2019 - and she did the most fantastic job! Everything was absolutely beautiful and so so delicious. We had a small two-tier cake (Berry Champagne) and had about 100 cupcakes (red-velvet and chocolate) - and we got tons of comments from all of our guests about how good everything was! Tara was super responsive in the months leading up to the wedding - great at responding to emails - and our cake tasting was one of the highlights of the planning process! Highly recommend Crumb Cakery!

GORGEOUS and DELICIOUS. You know youve gone to the right place when the cake and pastries taste just as good as they look! I have tried nearly everything from her light macarons and pastries to her decadent pies and cakes, and I am always impressed. This is why I had her make my wedding cake and it was a total hit - I cant tell you how many comments I got from our guests about how delicious the cake was!Tara is very accommodating and went out of her way to make sure we were happy with the design of the cake as well as the flavor. She holds herself to such a high standard and you can trust her to make your celebration extra special. Got a cake from this business for my wifes birthday . Our child have some allergies so we just want to make sure there were not allergens on the cakes ingredients. The owner was always nice and give us suggestions on the flavors. Those cakes are a work of art! All the family was amaze how beautiful it was and definitely one of the most delicious cakes we ever have! Now Crumb Cakery is our source for sweet indulge for any of our events and celebrations.

Tara is incredibly talented, both in flavor and design! She created our wedding cake (pistachio and raspberry) and it was absolutely delicious. She listened to our vision for the cake and delivered beautiful buttercream florals that matched the wedding flowers and colors identically! We couldn’t have been happier with the way everything worked out.

I’ve been getting birthday cakes from Tara for years now. She is, in my opinion, the best cake baker/designer in town! Her cakes not only look amazing but they taste absolutely delicious!! Every time I get one of her cakes for our events guests have asked for her contact information. Her pricing is reasonable too!

I ordered this cake for a surprise for my parents anniversary. I ordered via e-mail (I live in another state) and it was so easy. Tara has unique flavors. The pistachio raspberry cake was the best cake they had ever eaten. Very moist. Her decorating skills are top notch. I will be ordering again.

Tara created our wedding cake and it was beyond our expectations! She helped us decide on a design and the best flavors to pair together. The cake turned out both beautiful and delicious. I had an idea in my head of how I wanted our wedding cake to look and she created that image perfectly. Tara is a dream to work with, she always got back to me in a timely fashion and answered all my questions. I don’t know how she does it, but the berry filling and lemon curd filling was the best I have ever had. We had so many people comment on how good our cake was! For someone who hates cake, I just finished eating Taras cake for breakfast. The ingredients are so fresh and all the flavors are so bright. The buttercream is impossibly light and fluffy, the cake itself actually had flavor? When does cake have flavor!?! This is the best cake ive ever had.Taras cakes cant be beat.

We loved our cake! My dad (who is diabetic and doesn’t eat cake) had two pieces and raved about the taste! The cake was also beautiful and fit our decor perfectly. We also had little tres leche cups which turned out delicious too! We were really happy with the whole experience and the pricing. Crumb Cakery is a way better value than some of the other options in town and more beautiful and delicious :) Working with Crumb Cakery was so easy and laid back.
