I’m not sure how the donuts taste. They had one person in the store and I’m in the drive through……w a I t i n g. Ugh. Customer service and speed are a 1 star. Price is so high! Im sorry …not sorry but the pace at which some businesses in Bend moves is so frustrating and weird.Wanted to update my review. Sometimes I’m just a jerk and don’t like waiting. The assorted dozen was really delicious and beautiful.

Second time Ive gotten a Apple fritter and it wasnt cooked inside...yuk... Only could eat outside...use to love the fritters! I think Ill go back to Richards...

Fast & friendly service, but donuts weren’t remarkable. Maybe they were a little stale. Good looking fritter & classic sprinkles donut, but the taste was more like grocery store donuts.

Awesome donuts! I love donuts and always try to visit donut shops where ever I visit and I can honestly say this was an above average donut shop. The customer service was superb, the donuts were more than good, and I visited the shop the convective days in a row because it was so good. Ive been to several other donut shops in Bend and they cant compete with sweetheart donuts. If in Bend and looking for donuts, dont go anywhere else, hit up Sweetheart Donuts. You will not be disappointed.

I Loved the creme in the big foot maple donuts. I have tried alot of scratch donuts in the boise area and these donuts blew them out of the water.

Was a great stop for us, a chance to stretch. Had some bottled chilled coffees and donuts all around.

We visited this shop on April 10th for our first time. We were visiting Bend due to my grandma who was sick and in the hospital. She actually died a few hours later. The reason Im sharing this is because the owner of this company was very busy. Tons of customers and you could tell he was stressed because he was working alone. In the midst of chaos he was still extremely helpful and courteous. I joked with him telling him if I lived here I would work for him. This man needs good workers. There are so many jobs available yet people dont want to work right now. I pray that he can find good help and Im thankful for his positive attitude even tho he was having a stressful day. P.s. His donuts are the bomb!!

The girl working that morning was awesome! She was great at multitasking and managing the entire place by herself AND was still able to be friendly and offer suggestions. The donuts were worth trying. Most were great, some were just eh.

Lovely little gem for sweet treats. The donuts are fluffy and delicious. Fillings and icings are sweet but not TOO Sweet. The bigfoot donuts with the angel cream are to die for - but Id recommend sharing lest you OD on Sugar :-).

Used to be my favorite place to get doughnuts on the very few occasions that I do. But I just saw over the news they are not following CDC guidelines. Such a shame. I have been going there sine the old man ran it at the other location. Wont be anymore. Sorry.

Love love love this place. In my opinion it beats all the rest. Handmade donuts that are made purely with quality mix unlike the Dough Nut and Richards, etc. They cut their mix literally in half with flour to save on money and make the dough go farther which is why some of their stuff is too large and not quality. Sweethearts is about quality. They also do great custom orders for any occasions. Their great!! Staff is really great too! Only place I go now for donuts!

The 2 ladies were super Kind! We stopped during our vacation and being a POC during this time you never know the service you may get and these ladies were super friendly it’s truly a treasure! Best doughnuts in Central Oregon hands down! I was born in Bend and have been going here for years. My parents used to go there too. Light and fluffy and just the right amount of everything. I highly recommend the cinnamon twists and apple fritters if thats your thing but you really cant go wrong with anything they make!

Out of the dozen or so in Bend. Sweetheart is by far the best donut shop in town. Delicious great variety and excellently priced. Even more amazing is on Sundays (which is a huge donut eating day) they always have plenty available. You can really see that the employees take pride in what they do here. This is easily one of go-to staples in Bend.

Ive been enjoying donuts from this place for a long time. But, today my donuts were soaked in grease. Gross! Im thinking the fryer wasnt hot enough or something. Couldnt eat them - had to throw them out.

Great doughnuts (expensive) bad service however. Called in an order wouldnt fill entire order was told they wanted to make sure they had product to sell during the day and if they had the rest of what I wanted when I got there I could get it then

New owners, and very nice. They promised me they would have enough donuts on hand to stay open more hours. The donut I had was wonderful. A little heavier dough than a supermarket donut, but so good.

Not a big donut person I have gone to other shops before Sweethearts and these are better than the others, great taste and perfect softness just overall delicious. Pretzel, maple/bacon,buttermilk knots, blueberry cake donuts are delish!!! Oh and cinnamon Persians are the bomb!!! Keep up the good work ☺️

Third time to Sweetheart Donuts. Our donuts were stale. So bad that I called the store to ask what was up and was told that the donuts from the case in front were not as fresh as those in the back. I had been very happy the other two times. Who sees stale donuts, even the supermarket would have been better.

The whipped cream filled maple bigfoot is excellent. As were the other doughnuts we bought.

What should people know? This is the question google asks. Well you should know this wonderous family run business is one of a kind. With the most amazing people to the most fantastic donuts you can not get any where else. They are well known amongst the community and loved by any who stop by. The sweetest around and still in town. Stop by at your soonest convenience and be prepped for awesomeness. At the top AND bottom of my heart I love these people and their donuts for all of time! (Im not just saying that, these donuts are worth it!)

I used to love their donuts but now I am vegan and they don’t have any vegan/cruelty free donuts. :(( sweetheart please watch Dominion on YouTube and learn about the cruelty that goes into dairy and eggs!!

That’s not a scone. Perhaps it’s me, or it’s the world at large now but, $24 for 12 donuts? They’re donuts. Everyone has to make a profit. I get that. These folks are very nice. The “scone” was a specialty item that wasn’t.

I came in and asked for 24 dougnut holes and after a while I realized she put almost 40 in my bag. It was awesome and delicious! Very kind people.

This place must have been named for the ladies at the counter! What a friendly and YUMMY establishment. Try the old-fashioned with its hint of lemon like a homemade pound cake or the cinnamon roll, good enough for Christmas morning!

Went to pickup donuts for a company event, finally paid after the teller attempted to verify who I was on the card. Then after the fact added a tip to the total that I DID NOT authorize. Presently contesting and rather frustrated for my first experience. Definitely wont be visiting again.

I kind of get it closing the inside of the shop to customers.. however. I would like to see the donuts actually because there might be one that sparks my interest if I see it.. also I dont want to have to ask for a ton of questions on what you may or may not have.. Richards donuts and as far as I know other donut shops are letting customers order inside.Yessterday I went to your shop and was going to get a dozen donuts only to see your doors locked.. no sign in the window and a lady locking the front doors so as a result I left and went to richards donuts who welcomed me inside.. where I could actually see the donuts in person. again very disappointed in that fact. I would think since times are tough and you have a small shop you would allow people the option of going through your drive thru or.. let them in the shop...

They taste exactly like albertsons/Safeway doughnuts. They just have more of a selection.

Sweetheart Donuts is the only place to go for the best donuts in town! Their apple fritters and maple bars (my two favorite pastries) are incredibly scrumptious! Excellent customer service! Easy to access off of 3rd Street! I cant say enough good things about them! Sweetheart Donuts is the best by far!

Very friendly service and there pastry are so delicious and fresh. Lots of parking but thats the least of your problems, trying to decide which pastry to choose, you want to try them all. No disappoints here, all are super good.

They make a fantastic apple fritter with just enough crunch on the outside as they are supposed to be. I also had the big pretzel donut and it was soft and moist. Good stuff!

I am a donut snob, but a good donut isnt just good, its also not the most expensive donut in town. I have tried several places around town and Sweetheart s are so good I cant get past them to dare try anyone else. My husband loves the fritters, theyre the only place we found that doesnt put cinnamon in them! Since my husband cant eat cinnamon because it upsets his stomach, he can fully enjoy the fritter without the pain he knows hes going to experience elsewhere. As for everything else....FABULOUS! I havent tried quite ALL of them yet, but I look forward to enjoying their full repetoire eventually!

Not the biggest donut guy but I love the passion that they have for their craft and they make some creative products.

The donuts were slightly dry, but relatively good. I was disappointed that the pretzel donut was a regular yeast dough shaped into a pretzel. The bigfoot donut was good, very rich though. This is a good place for the regular assortment of donuts.

I have lived in Central Oregon since 1993 and hands down the best donut shop here.
