John’s honesty saved me a lot of time and money. All of the other quotes I received were way more expensive and we’re a lot further out. It was estimated about 12-14 weeks and John got it done in a couple days. He didn’t try to add on a bunch of stuff he just told me what needed to be done and made it happen. John was great! Had an opener that was finicky and a door that needed some maintenance. Long story short the opener was shot and needed to be replaced. John did not charge me for the work but only for the install of the new opener. He was able to get the new one installed the same week. His prices were on parr for other companies in town but he actually returned my call unlike some other big players in town. John saved the day!!! I had just gotten home from dropping my husband off for a dental surgery and our garage door broke, leaving me trapped in the garage! I had to pick my husband up in 3 hours and John made time in his completely full schedule to come out and fix our door. He was friendly and quick, and went above and beyond!

It is good to see someone with a lot of experience and a positive frame of mind fix something. In this case, our broken garage door. He answered the phone when I called, said he could be there is three hours, arrived as promised and he fixed it quickly, thoroughly and at a fair price. One of the springs on our garage door snapped the night before Thanksgiving. We called two other companies Friday morning and had to leave messages. We called Bend Garage Door Rescue Saturday morning and John answered his phone. He said he could come out that afternoon, but we decided that Monday morning would be good. He arrived earlier than the scheduled time, showed us exactly what he needed to do, and had it all fixed in about 90 minutes. He also did some other work to prevent future problems. Very reasonable price and he was extremely nice. Oh yeah, one of the other companies finally called us back Monday and the other one has never returned our call! Super nice and very fair pricing. This was the 2nd time Ive had John out for garage door problems. The first one was for my door binding and the second time (today) for a broken spring, he made time in his busy schedule to come out and repair our door. Missed the memo that a garage door spring had broken last night and made the mistake of opening the door this morning. Couldn’t get the door to close again, as it was bound up on the tracks. It being a cold and snowy Saturday morning, I wasn’t optimistic that there were gonna be any shops open, and my first couple phone calls confirmed that. Had an older kinda wonky door that never worked correctly and would not seal right. So many issues that I was planning on buying a new one but after John worked it over all the issues were taken care of ! It looks great! He also took out the antiquated arched window grids which updated the door and gave it a cleaner look! He literally saved me a few thousand dollars!

Best prices in town and really fast service had over 2 feet of snow on ground able to make it out next morning I called late afternoon. 150 bucks for a broken spring and works like a charm would reccomend him to anyone. Called another highly reviewed company and they couldnt get out in this weather. Im happy they couldnt they were a bit more expensive. This is the place to try first. You wont be disappointed.

A few months ago I ran into some issues with a 15 year old garage door. I contacted John with Bend Garage Door Rescue and John was extremely prompt to respond. He fixed the issue and went above and beyond and tuned up the door so that it no longer sounded like a trash compactor when it opened. A month later during some cold weather, our garage door seal froze to the ground and when I went to open the door the Ice caused the door to pop out of alignment. Once again I called John (over the weekend) and he was quick to call me back and by the following day he had fixed the issue. Excellent service John! Thank you!!
