Ive had multiple cars in for exhaust work at Good Guys, both before and after they joined VR Garage, and I can tell you quality has always been top notch. They have great suggestions, good service, good communication and they stand by their work. They have done classic cars and trucks, all the way up to modern cars and jeeps for me and Ive always been impressed with the performance and sound. The name says it all, theyre just a bunch of good guys.

These are genuinely good guys. They were quick, nice, and undercharged. They made my day better, on top of fixing my car. Would definitely use them again.

I left my GMC Sierra at Good Guys Muffler because something in the exhaust system was making an awful racket. Got a call to come in within two hours.I was told the heat shield weld had broken and that the problem had been taken care of. No charge. Just come and see us when you need a new muffler.You can be damned sure I will.

I brought in the front exhaust pipe from my wifes forester, which had a cracked flex pipe, giving a bad exhaust leak. Subaru wanted 2200 dollars to replace it, these guys were able to replace the section and weld in a better flex pipe, and quickly! Saved me a lot of money. Just put the exhaust back in the car and Im very satisfied. Highly recommend.

Been going to these guys for years and they normally put out great clean work however recently this has not been the case. Withen the last year I had payed them to replace the muffler on my truck with a louder one. They did and for some unknown reason got rid of a factory exhaust hanger in the process. This inevitably caused the muffler to fail and break directly where the missing hanger should of been. I went back to have them replace ALL the exhaust piping in my truck and they forgot to replace the bit over the axle. The welds were crude at spots and Not only did they not complete the job I had asked, they refused to except that their work caused the muffler failure on the first place. I was extremely dissatisfied considering I’ve had them build countless exhausts for me in the past without much fault. Not only that, but they were very rude to me about the muffler failure and tried to blame it on me and my choice of muffler (claiming its my fault because I chose a cheap one). Anyways I will not EVER be returning or suggesting VR garage to anybody. They simply do not care unless you are bringing them a one off classic custom. Very disappointed that a shop that brings in such big profit would not own up to a simple and inexpensive mistake. Especially for a long time loyal customer..

I have been looking around for a shop that I can entrust with my long list of vehicles, they specialize in many areas with a highly professional and knowledgeable crew. I took my Mercedes E63 there for some work and they had it done for a considerably lower price than I was anticipating and it was quickly done. I am now taking my 1969 Camaro there that lives in a trailer and only goes to shows. Thats how much I like these guys.Tip them well. Its worth it.

Ive had the exhaust installed by the Good Guys on at least 4 of my vehicles over the past 25 years. I highly recommend this shop! I had them put dual exhaust on my last new motor instal. The quality of work was worthy of a custom street rod even though it was on a beater box van. Both pipes perfectly level with each other and my frame rails. I posted a review about how great it was back then but I cant find it in the very long list of reviews here so I figured I would post another one. I plan to come back for dual exhaust on my vintage Blazer next. I highly recommend The Good Guys for all exhaust work.

Took a 55 chevy bel air in to have my new headers hooked up to the exhaust pipes, they did a great job for a very reasonable price, would take any of my cars there for work.

Went to this place about 2 years ago to zip up a hole in my y pipe. The guy did it for free right on the spot. So inevitably I brought my business to them today. I needed a new cat and a new pipe from cat back as mine was clogged and just happened to “fall” off. Had me drop off the vehicle to get done the next day or the day after that. Called me about 2-3 hrs later and said it was done. The turnover was super quick and managed to sneak me in same day. Awesome service and decent prices. It wasn’t insanely cheap but it definitely wasn’t crazy high either. I’d definitely recommend them if you want your exhaust to look professional and sound great. Sure I could’ve hacked it together but I’m very pleased with the results and the turnover.

I do not regularly leave reviews, but VR Garage did such an amazing job I felt that I needed to. I worked with cameron for a tail pipe on one of my pieces of heavy equipment. I brought them the best representation of what I needed; Which was pretty terrible. They took this Shamble of mismatched components and made me a tail pipe that fit perfectly. Oh did I mention it literally only took fifteen minutes, and the price was great!This Group of people are amazing, down to earth, knowledgable and kind.If you or anyone you know are in need of any sort of automotive repair make sure to use VR Garage.

Very Happy with the new exhaust system they did on my F250. Sounds great looks great and didnt break the bank. They had some great advice with another project that Im starting as well.

Went here because we heard an exhaust noise. Good Guys was recommended by some other repair and custom shops. We found friendly and energetic people and got timely service at a very fair price. Zeke and David were great! When David checked our exhaust manifold problem, he showed us that our fan clutch was also not working (barely turning). Parts were ordered, work done. When we picked up our car we were pleasantly surprised that parts costed less, so the quote was lowered. We are very happy with this all results. Thanks guys!!!

I brought in my car for a quick estimate on how much it would be to fix the hangers for my tailpipe. They took a look and said it just needed some basic repair and shouldn’t take more than a half hour.The day prior I was quoted $320 from a different repair shop in town, stating that it needed new parts to fix and didn’t have any openings for more than a week out.Less than an hour later and Good Guys had already fixed it with no new parts needed and charged me only the shop minimum for the basic repair done ($45)The staff was incredibly polite and courteous and made me feel that they were there to help instead of just wanting my money.I’ll definitely be returning for any car issues I have in the future. I absolutely recommend checking them out.

Fair and honest in not upcharging me on an exhaust flange repair. A dealer had told me my entire exhaust system was rusted out and needed replacement, VR said only the flange needed replacement - less than 1/10th the overall cost what the dealer was quoting. And they fixed it right away. Really appreciate their honesty and professionalism.

Save yourself the hassle and take it to Good Guys!Long version: I took my 2001 SUV around looking for good quotes, and honest people. I literally spent a whole day dedicated to shopping for quotes. Good Guys quoted a good, affordable price for what was needing done, and I felt they were trustworthy people. With what it was needing (an O2 sensor and/or a CAT, and an exhaust leak fixed) I figured Id just pay to have a whole new exhaust system put in.They let me drop it off after hours, and told me a safe place I could leave the keys. Upon looking under the vehicle, they called us to let us know they located the exhaust leaks (turns out there were 2), checked the rest of the exhaust pipe and the O2 sensor and could very easily fix the leaks, replace the CAT, and put on a new muffler that we wanted. The O2 sensors were fine! They saved us money when they didnt have to! They are honest people, and did an amazing job. They completed the work in a timely manner and my SUV sounds amazing, and runs perfect.I am so glad I went to Good Guys, it really puts you at ease to know you have a shop you can count on thats not out to empty your pockets.Thank you Good Guys, and thanks to Joe at the front desk for being so professional!

They just arnt a good shop, many others in town that can do a better job.

I took my truck here to have an exhaust manifold leak repaired. They installed new headers and gaskets. After roughly a month, the leak returned but worse. So I took the truck back to Good Guys to repair under warranty. They had to redo the left side manifold because one of the bolts had been striped during the first install. I went to pick up my truck and they tried to bill me for the warranty work. I spoke with the owner about this and after arguing with me for about 15 minutes, he agreed to not charge me. He then said he would only honor the one year warranty if I came back after 300 miles to have everything retightened. I tried to make an appointment to have the bolts tightened after I drove 300 miles and they refused to work on my truck. Now my warranty is no longer being honored and the exhaust is leaking again. WORST EXPERIENCE!

Called about checking my catalytic converter. They told me they would do a pressure check on it for free. After the appointment they told me that it needs a new $350 one, because it caused a computer fault code/service engine light to come on, but didnt confirm that by doing the pressure check. Im going somewhere else to have it checked out.

These guys are the best! I came in with a 1999 Audi A4 looking to have the muffler and resonator come off and run pipe so I can have a better sound, and I also had the check engine light checked out and a weird unusual movement/noise under my seat every time I stepped on the gas. Took my bike to Scott for the first time on reccomendation of a friend. Glad I did my experience with service here was very good. When I reached out to schedule an appointment Scott got back to me in a very timely manner. First impressions of the garage was that its very clean! They took the time to show me around shop and made sure they understood what I needed done. Upon receiving my bike back I was very pleased with the quality of work completed. There are only so many options when needing work done to your motorcycle here in Central Oregon, this shop is operating at a higher standard then the others I have encountered. Without a doubt I would come here again for repair service or maintenance they have earned my business give them a chance to do the same for you!

Im really sad about my experience with good guys mufflers. I was going to get my boyfriend a new muffler for Christmas. I dont have a ton of free time and I had to be slightly sneaky because I wanted it to be a surprise so I reached out via email for some basic information. Good Guys did respond quickly but said it would be best if I could come by so they could take a look. I asked if a specific day was okay, they said yes. When I arrived I was told the person who could look at the car was off for the day but they could just schedule me an appointment. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment even though going in seemed like a waste of my time. Thursday, the day before my appointment Good Guys called me asking to reschedule as they had overbooked. I explained for the third time this was a Christmas present. Christmas is Monday. Good Guys said Sorry, we can reschedule or you can see if Custome Exhaust can do it for you tomorrow. I scheduled the appointment with Good Guys for Friday because that was the closest I could get to giving it to him on Christmas. Custome Exhaust was fully booked. My boyfriend would have loved this gift.

I pulled into Midas today hoping they could take a look at my rattling muffler. They unenthusiastically said they would need to keep the truck for 2-1/2 hours to look at it. I said no thanks and left (and after reading the horrific reviews tonight, I AM SO glad I did!) Later in the day, Good Guys Muffler was recommended to me by Red Hot Interiors Upholstery. I got there just before closing, and Joe came right out, looked under the truck determined what needed to be done and had it done in a flash! It was pretty amazing. And boy, was the price right. I dont know why I even mentioned a muffler problem to my upholstery guy, but I am certainly glad I did! Thank you Joe and Good Guys :)

My experience with these this shop was awful.They could nt get tie rods loose .So they couldnt do the alignment. But they wanted to charge me 40 dollars for an inspection. I didnt take my truck there for an inspection i took truck there for an 75 dollar alignment .i refused to pay them for doing nothing.i got my mechanic to loosen tie rods for them then took it back to them.they did alignment. After leaving there it didnt take long to know they made my alignment worse then when i orginally took it in. Im positive they did bad job on purpose because i didnt want to pay 40 inspection fee.i took truck back for them to fix it and it seems to be aligned now.The story they told me which was a plane lie to my face was the machine must have malfunctioned the first time.Hence they tried to over charge me then did bad job on purpose then tried to lie to my face about there machine malfunctioned. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANT WAS A NIGHTMARE.

These are good guys...local shop that took the time to discuss different pipe options on my exhaust. I learned a little and they were honest that my stock y pipe is good for what I was doing and did not charge me for extra parts that were not advenageous to me. I even cancelled the first appt on them and they never once complained. Very professional!

I made an appointment with the shop to fix my power steering issue on my van one week in advance prior to my trip to Utah. Leaving Friday Nov 2nd I brought it in on Tuesday Oct 30th. I did not hear from them on the 31st so I called in on Nov 1st and they had not even looked at it yet, not good. They did call a few hours later and said it would take a day to get the parts needed for the repair. Does me no good if Im leaving the next day so Im very disappointed in the lack of customer service without even a call to let me know they were running behind schedule, isnt this why we make appointments???? to avoid these kind of complications.I will take my business else where when I get back from my trip and will share my experience with all my friends in Bend and Redmond.
