We moved to Walnut Creek 3 years ago and still drive over the bridge to go to Big O in Benicia. We have always had great service there. We had top notch communication from Blake during the day and got our car completely ready for our long road trip cross county in one day. Highly recommended

Amazing! Flat tires are not a good thing, of course, especially with a motorhome. The Big O team was awesome. A joy to deal with. Their roadside service team replaced the tires promptly, the customer service team was friendly and responsive and the crew at the store even adjusted the pressure in our other car while we were there to pay. Went in on a Saturday three hour wait to ascertain that my tire could not be fixed it needed to be replaced. Granted i did not have appt and they were very busy. Made an appointment for 2 o’clock on the following Monday I was told I could not get the same tire as a back order. Not happy as i Just a set of four Nitto from BIG O in March n then to have to use a different brand.. For 2 o’clock appointment they did not get to my car to start at 315….got done right before 4:00.

Made an online appointment, wasnt told there was a conflict till almost appointment day. Tried calling, on hold 20 min. dumped to voicemail, left message, no callback. Tires were not in stock, had to go to shop to order and pay for tires but unable to make appointment till tires available. Wasnt told when the tires were available, had to inquire. By the time I learned tires were there, no appointment available for that day. Needed them installed was told I could go there a wait and they could do it that day. Waited over an hour before car went on lift, almost 2 HOURS on lift to mount and balance 4 tires. 3-1/2 hours later I finally got the keys but nobody told me the car was parked a block away. Tires were a mess, covered with residue from installation

I love the promptness and care that goes into my vehicle when I bring it here. I havent been disappointed with the service here at all.The tire warranty has been a god send! Definitely recommend purchasing tires here with the extended warranty, well worth the $$.I have saved hundreds of dollars getting that warranty and I have piece of mind when a nail gets in my tire or any tire calamity.

I pulled in 30 minutes before they closed on a Friday, hoping they could squeeze me in for an oil change. Although they were very busy and it was near closing time, they fit me in. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the service was professional and quick. This will be my regular spot for services.

This is the only place I go to for tires. Went to the Walnut Creek location and sat their all day and did nothing. This location is also down Street from Nations/Starbucks/city park. What else could you want when waiting for your car. Was super busy though on a Monday.

At 10:45am I made an appointment to buy tires at 2pm. The appointment was accepted and confirmed (I have the email confirmations). I showed up early for my appointment. My car wasnt even selected to go into the bay until 3:30pm. It wasnt finished until 6:15pm.I will not be bringing my car back to this Big O Tires. The person who initially talked to me when I walked it acknowledged that I had an appointment. But when he filed my work order, he did it as a regular walk-in. So I wasnt at the top of the queue. Im incredibly disappointed with this service.Never again. Big O Tires Benicia will never have any of my money ever again. 4 1/2 hours of waiting is egregious. There was absolutely no benefit to making an appointment as the appointment was not honored.

I’m lucky they were capable of Atleast installing my tires. I specifically asked to keep the wheels on the same side they were already on and that did not happen. I was told my alignment was not necessary and that everything was great and in specs. However my steering wheel was still not centered. The technician had the nerve to tell me that it was due to me having one good tire and one bad tire and that now it should be fine. Meaning the technician never test drive my vehicle. I Gave big o one chance and I’m never going back again. I would not recommend this location at all.

So I started my on line tire and alignment purchase several weeks ago. I was out of state, and wanted to get the tires installed upon my return on Saturday. Made the appointment and pressed send. A return email confirmed my appointment. A few days later I received a second email saying there was a conflict and someone would be contacting me. I spoke with Bradley from the Benicia Big O. He explained the website sets the appointments, but Benicia does not do Saturday appointments. Bradley said he could get me in on Saturday, but there would be a wait. He reserved the tires and I was set for Saturday. I showed up at 10. It was SUPER busy, 25 cars ahead of me. I returned at 2 just to see Juan pulling the car in. He got right to work and 4 new tires were balanced and on before 3. Juan told me the alignment was next. I told him I had a 4 pm meeting and was going to have to reschedule the alignment. Juan assured me they could get it done and I would be on my way before 4. Ryan showed up, acknowledged my 4 pm deadline and got to work. He walked me through each adjustment and explained everything he was doing. 20 minutes later Ryan was done and I was on my way.I would highly recommend Benicia Big O for your automotive needs. Bradley, Juan, and Ryan took care of my car as if it was theirs. I could not have asked for more. I will not hesitate to use or recommended Benicia Big O in the future.ThanksI

My experience with Big O Tires THIS time was a positive one. I dropped my car off and the job was completed in 3 hours (this establishment is ALWAYS busy). I appreciate the FREE diagnostic test that performed on my car. Jordan was especially helpful, knowledgeable and informative as he explained the details of the diagnostic results to me. If I have my car serviced here in the future I will be asking for Jordan!

The tires I got were good the guys that did the work good. They just need to communicate with each other and the costumers better. And if they make changes to something and the guy before has clocked out for the day the present guy needs let the costumers aware of changes . They didnt do that with my visit im sure the guy in the shop knows what hes doing but when I go to pay for something Ive already been told it could be done .just take two seconds to walk in the waiting room and let me know.

I had a quote for Sumitomo tires, but a different brand was put in and I wasnt told. I went back and asked the young man why. He did his best to explain, so I left, but that isnt a good way to do business.

Super shady, up charges even if you have est already. Just make sure you never agree to ANYTHING unless you have it in writing. They quote free checks and then when time to pay they charge you for work. Save your money and go somewhere that isnt trying so hard to add in extra charges. I was stranded due to a flat tire. After waiting over 90mins for my insurance roadside assistance who couldn’t guarantee they were arriving soon I was able to get Big O Tires to come out quickly as promised and get my spare changed. Really appreciate the help if I wasn’t running late I would have driven straight to the store to have them put new tires on me.

Its a little drive away from where i leave but i still go here. Its hard to find a place that would totally have the time and explain it thoroughly.

I went in for the works oil air filter transmission. You name it. The service technician came back and said I did not need an air filter as mine was almost brand new looking. Big O could’ve easily sold me a new air filter but They did the right thing I didn’t need it so therefore they suggested not to buy one. Not many companies will do this

Good service, poor timing estimates.Timing - 3 starsI took my car in because I had a slow leak in one of my low profile tires. I called ahead and was told it was slow so they could take my car right away. Unfortunately, despite getting there within 10 minutes after calling, The service writer told me it would take 45 minutes to get it fixed. I waited and they looked at my car after an hour.Technical Service - 5 starsThe service tech showed me where my tire was punctured and explained why a patch wasn’t going to work so would need new tire. I could see it and decided to get new tires for the punctured and the other one on the same axis.They priced out a replacement of what I had but also offered some options. I went with a lower priced option that got great reviews so ended up paying less per tire. They were able to get the tires from their warehouse and I left my car and picked it up 3 hours later.Overall, a good experience although they should be honest about the wait time.

I didnt have an appointment but they accommodated me and fixed my tire that was leaking and rotated the tires and did an alignment in good time. Bradley helped me today and was great. He was friendly and professional. I always have a good experience in this place.

Never been so emasculated by a bill from Big O Benicia like I was yesterday. Almost $200.00 to change out a battery. They have given a new meaning to the words tune up because that is exactly what happened to me. I will be going elsewhere for basic services that need performing after being a customer there for 20 years. They have worked on 6 of my vehicles over the years for tires, oil changes, alignments & battery replacements but this one takes it to a new level.

Won’t go here for anything but tires. I had to call four hours after dropping off my car just to get a status on my inspection. A guy a big o told me I can go to Groupon and purchase coupons so I did. Then when I tried to use the coupons for my purchase I was told I could only use one. Even though they were two different coupons. Then was told that they were losing money on the coupons. I told him it’s not my problem. Had to ask for different times to three different people about work that I had requested and they didn’t write down.

They always take last minute appointments and they are a pleasure to deal with. Really glad to have them in Benicia.

Fast, courteous, professional oil service yesterday and knowledgeable support of my questions regarding a future tire selection. The only downside is that they noted the beginnings of an oil leak but the mechanic didn’t note where from.

We stopped by yesterday because we saw a tire indicator light. One of the service writers came out and tested the pressure in all the tires. During that time another customer drove up and needed help, interrupting him. He handled both problems professionally and directed the other customer inside. He solved our problem. His help made our formerly difficult day so much better. We will definitely be back! A huge thanks. Great shop!

Improperly installed parts by Big O, had to take car to a dealership to get fixed correctly which cost more money.

All I can say is I dropped my car off on a Wednesday at around 3:00 p.m. at big o tires. My clutch was supposed to been fixed the car was supposed to been ready by Friday. The car sat there all of those days without them even calling me or doing anything they did not work on my car that whole time. Never received a call from them saying they needed extra parts I was told they had all the parts and they ordered it in advance so they lied about that also. Didnt receive a call till Saturday when I complained to corporate, now all of a sudden I got a call saying my call will be ready by that day which was Saturday. So Saturday evening I was ready to pick up my car I called them first the car wasnt ready so I had to keep the rental car extra days until Monday actually when the car was ready. Unless you getting a tire or oil change do not go to big old tires.

Big O Tires in Benicia does great work and really look out for their customers. Terry went out of his way to research rebates and specials for me when I needed a lot of high- price maintenance done to my car. Ive been taking my car there for years and have always been happy with their work.

The purchase of all new four tires for our 2018 BMW 330e went so well & very smoothly. Big O Tires had for sale a great Goodyear set & special thanks to Johnny & his crew for helping us out. I went online first, selected what I wanted & made an appt. On the date, I was even a little late, but they still accomodated me. Sure there is always times where good salesfolks try to upsell for our car’s safety reasons but simply tell them what you want exactly & it will be fine. Thank you to Big O & I will be returning soon.

I was there for four hours waiting for them to correct a mistake. they did not correct it and then they told me if I wanted it fixed I would have to wait two additional more hours for them to start looking into the problem. end it would cost me $129 knowing that I was there for them to correct their mistake. they had my car for all that time with nothing being done I would not go back there again this was the one in Benicia. I also was asking them what was taking a long time the guy was rude he said that he will not rush the workers that they will take as long as the workers take. they were also arguing among themselves about 3 of them not taking their job seriously. where customers could hear them right in the open yelling at one another. so unprofessional. NEVER will we go back again

Had a flat Thursday, went into their Benicia location Friday expecting to only replace the spare donut i had to use temporarily and ended up having to replace 3. The clerk at front desk was honest, professional and straight forward with adequate customer service. He inspected my tires and gave me 2 options. Also wanted breaks checked and they did it for free. Really appreciate that! The rest of the crew was friendly, professional, & efficient. Overall experience was great.

I was very disappointed with how the whole office staff of BIG O Benicia branch handled my transaction most especially the manager. I called a few days ago to inquire about a set of tires and talked to two people who said they have the tires on stock but they are the last ones so I better decide quick. Thinking I had a good deal I immediately called back and placed the order but wont be able to bring in my car until after a couple of days so they told me that I just needed to make a deposit of $50 to reserve them but it cant be done online so I had to personally go to their shop. So I went there the same day and was attended to by the manager. Just when I was about to make the deposit, I was surprised when he quoted me the full amount. When I explained that its not what I was told over the phone, he went to the backroom to confirm with his staff and came back to me and said Oh he just made a mistake, Im the manager here so everything will have to go through me and needs my go ahead. Really? Then why was I being given two totally different versions all of a sudden. But to make the long story short, I still agreed to pay the full amount.But heres when it got really disappointing. I went back a couple of days after and talked to the manager to cancel my order, he then said that they have to deduct a re-stocking fee of 25%. I challenged him and showed him the copy of my invoice summary clearly stating 25% Re-Stocking Fee for Returns on Special Ordered Parts. So how can that become a special order when I was clearly told they have it on stock. And wasnt that specifically the reason why I had to make a deposit. I asked the manager if theres anyway he could waive the fee for the following reasons: 1) For being a loyal customer, 2) Purchase was made only a couple of days ago and, 3) Because of the inconsistencies with their communications which I forewent.And the managers response: Sorry I dont make the rules. And we actually did not have the tires on stock, we had to get them from our Vallejo branch so it was a special order.I am sharing this experience to serve as a warning to all those who patronize the BIG O Benicia branch. Be very careful when you deal with them. This is how they take care of their customers. MAKING A SALE is the only thing that matters to them!

In general, I like this location. In the past, they’ve been honest, fair in their pricing, and have turned a service request around on the same day I bring the car in.I brought the car in because a tire had a puncture in it. The cost to replace the tire was $221, which seems steep for a single wheel. I didn’t feel that the guy who handled the service request was too sympathetic to the cost of the service. I give the place four stars because, on most days, they give 5-star service.

Ive been to Big O in Benicia on several occasions and they are consistent with solid workmanship and informative customer service. My most recent visit involved getting tired for an older car and, in the process, they discovered some other issues that werent a surprise on an older car. They walked me through what was suspected a gave me an estimate. They later discovered that some expected issues turned out non-issues and they informed me that my bill would be reduced because of that. It felt like good, honest consultation. I will continue to use Big O in the future!
