Chocolate is delicious, but on the costly side. The hot cocoa is THE BEST Ive ever had. Bar none!

I wouldnt miss this if youre visiting Bennington. The diversity of treats is amazing! Tons of hand-made chocolates with a huge assortment of external products to boot. We bought a birthday medley and would do so again. Chocolate is chocolate, but being able to support a local business with great quality makes it superlative. The owners were also lovely to chat with. Well be back! Also, dont skip the dark chocolate.

It was sweet. We loved it and it was a good visit ! The prices were great and the chocolate was amazing! Idk if the staff was distracted but it was like 3 people and they were so inward focused. My son and I went on a random Thursday and they were far from busy.Regardless DEFINITELY worth it ♥️

Stopped here for ice cream and was glad to see they were open on July 5th. Nice clean shop and smiling faces. The homemade ice cream and chocolate peppermint patties were outstanding! We will be back!

So much chocolate! It was very yummy though and beautiful on the inside of the building. Owner or lady who worked there was very nice. And you can get individual chocolates too for only 65(ish) cents! And its well worth it! Loved this cute little shoppe

The Village Chocolate Shoppe draws many people into town with their large variety of amazing handmade treats. Fudge is available in many flavors as well as the traditional chocolate candies one would expect. They also have many decadent chocolate creations that you cant find anywhere else, the peanut butter Oreos covered in chocolate is one of my favorites. There are many seasonal items at great prices for all of your holiday gifting and they also have Vermont themed items. Its a warm and inviting environment as you watch the owners and friendly workers making their products. They also have gelato and ice cream available, so make sure to stop in anytime of the year to satisfy your sweet tooth. I will never forget cheering the crew on when they set the world record for making the largest Peanut Butter Cup a few years back!

The most amazing and delicious chocolate you can find outside of Paris. The staff were pleasant and everything was wonderful!!! Not to mention the seasonal window display! I love this shop! The special Fridays are a treat all in themselves, like the make your own candy bar day.

Besides the wide selection they have....The customer service is on point. They were very courteous and never pressured me to buy. At the end if my checkout one of the ladies even helped me separate all my nephews and nieces goodie bags for me!! Thank you very much. Definitely recommend this place to anybody looking to cure a sweet tooth!

Creative chocolates. Turtles made with milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate. With pecans or cashews, or almonds, or walnuts. If you ever thought, wow this chocolate combinations would be great, you will find it here.

I had the pleasure of visiting this store for the first time today. It was such a great experience! The selection is huge and they had the cutest Easter items. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to returning when I’m back in the area!

Small town chocolate shop with a great assortment of chocolate treats and a helping of gifts to go with. The chocolate is delicious and the staff are friendly. It can get expensive quickly if you heap on the treats but given the quality its well worth the cost.

The chocolate shop is a great stop for all, locals and visitors. They have a great variety of candy and fudge. I recently got chocolate covered cherries from there. They were amazing! Much better then the cheap stuff you find at the supermarket. I have to give this 4 stars only because there is a 10 dollar minimum for using a credit/debit card. This is the modern age. Everyone likes to use a card versus cash.

Yummy, homemade candies and chocolates with Chocolate Moose statues in the middle of the store that are really made of chocolate. Great ice cream and the staff is welcoming and friendly.

I adore this place. In the fall and winter I like to walk over for a hot chocolate and then walk around our tiny downtown with Kris. The hot chocolate, no matter what flavor, is always perfect -- a real treat. A decadent treat.I have yet to try the gelato (its next on the list) but the array of flavors is impressive and spans the standard to the seasonal.The shop has a great, and diverse, selection. There are retro candies, gift items, bagged house specialties (like the popcorn and malt balls), fresh fudge, and the amazing chocolates. Truffles, bars, chocolate covered everything... everything is gorgeous and delicious.A great spot for tourists and townies with which to fall in love.

The chocolate covered peanuts are almost addictively good, and if you have the luck of the day, they will have fudge ends which are basically the edges of the previous batches of fudge, bagged up and sold at a discount, which is always the best way to get fudge. ;)

The smell alone when you walk in makes your day better. Dark chocolate covered pretzels are the best!

My wife and I recently visited Bennington for the first time and stopped in this shop while walking down Main St. They were currently making fresh chocolate candies and dipping fresh strawberries into chocolate, it was heaven on earth for a sweet tooth like mine. When I learned there was a $10 card minimum, my immediate response was, Well that wont be a problem at all! and began to stock up on many of the chocolate goodies for our walk down the rest of Main St. We very highly recommend this place and cannot wait to stop back in next time we are in Bennington!

Wide selection of (mostly) chocolate-based candy. The buttercrunch is excellent; the marzipan a little less so. Good selection of ice cream and gelato.

This is a great place, they have chocolates from all over the world. Ice cream too.

The service and the people there are rude and have no costumer service skills. Don’t go here with your debit or credit cards because it’s only a $10 minimum. Which is a scam if the thing you want to buy is only $5. The older personal were rude beyond compare. Younger personal were helpful.I never said it was illegal, the rude older woman would interrupt me as soon as i spoke, that shows poor customer service, and i use a debit card which works different from a credit card, so maybe if you would get your facts strait there would be less confusion, and all arguments would have been avoided if your older employees were more courteous and polite but they where rude and treated us poor so you can get off ur high horses bc the chocolate we actually bought was so gross that we couldnt break it and we spent 7$ on one piece so really you need to reconsidered your older staff and how long your product sit on the shelf we ended up throwing all chocolate away due to the fact we couldnt eat it or break it. The only products we found edible where the products you didnt even make. So really the scam was real.
