Amazing experience. This place and the employees are not your typical dealership. I was greeted at the door for my appointment to view a car. Leon Gates, the car dealer I worked with open the door for me on the car I looked at, was professional and showed great humanistic qualities that came across as authentic. I took a test drive with the owner of the dealership and was impressed with his level of kindness, willing to have a conversation, and his willingness to work with myself and my budget. All my questions were answered and the process was effective and efficient. I would recommend anyone here who is in the market for a Ford or Hyundai. The Finance guy was the friendliest one I have ever dealt with too as well as the manager of the place. It was clear that we were all car buffs and it felt like I was welcomed and respected. The best part was driving my brand new car off the showroom floor. Good hard working people are rare to come by these days. We need people like this in this world we live in. Thank you guys!!
Terrible service, never notified me my recall part was not in the shop. I traveled over one hour only to be turned away with no idea when the part will arrive.If I could rate lower than one star. I drove 3 hours round trip, cost gas and my time and now will have to return. Most businesses will give a comp for the, none offered here.

(Update)* carbone ford has Horrible service* No one knows whats going on at any point when you call. They add extra things to the bill that wasnt supposed to be fixed. There unprofessional and Id much rather watch YouTube videos and chance doing it myself. Ken is Id say the worst if not tied for first for unprofessionalism. Get it together this why people buy foreign. 6 days later..

Horrible people to deal with.. I purchased a vehicle in 2018 from them and bought a warranty as well and when I went to use my warranty it was never activated by the dealership. I have tried calling to talk to someone for over a month now and no call backs! The General manager is a joke and does not know how to return phone calls! They are a very shady company and I would avoid them at all costs!

When our car broke down and a replacement was needed we stopped in at Bennington Ford and Bryan Rennell was amazing. He not only got us in the truck we wanted but under what we wanted to pay. He really did everything he could to make us leave happy. Highly recommend to anyone in the market, and the fact that he can sell across all the brands is even better!

My husband and I went to Carbone to buy a car. We walked into the dealership and were met by the manager who immediately greeted us and brought us to a salesman. The salesman, Henry Edwards, greeted us, introduced himself and began asking a plethora of questions to really understand what my husband and I were looking for. Immediately a car jumped into his head and he jotted down the information. He went to get the car for a test drive and realized that the car had been sold, but instead came back with a car that was still in my price range and fit the criteria. It was perfect. He really made me feel like he valued my business and kept us up-to-date and informed about the process and when we could expect to be driving home in my new car. It took until about 8:30 pm to finish all of the paperwork and be on our way. My husband has already said when he is in the market for a new car that he will be going to see Henry again. I recommend that anyone who wants someone who will listen to what they are looking for and not just try to up-sell, stop and see him.

Great atmosphere. The staff makes you feel welcome and at ease in the car buying experience. Jeff Devoid was my sales consultant. To describe him best, hes the energizer bunny. The man does not stop moving. He brought so much energy to this process and allowed me to feel very comfortable with what I was doing. Great crew over there.
I was so very disappointed in the service department at Bennington Ford. They had my car for two weeks and still kept promising me it would be fixed. When they told me it would be at least another week or two, I paid for the parts, took them with me and drove my care to another Ford dealer who fixed my car in one day. I might also add that Josh was very rude to me when I stopped in one day to see how things were going.Very poor customer service. Avoid this place if you can.

Had purchased two wiper blades on my own asked them if they could put them on for me during oil change and I would pay as I am elderly and handicapped they said yes and there would be no charge. When the oil change was completed they handed me a bill for 62.50 for putting on the wiper blades not nice

I should have not even bothered speaking to anyone about coming here. I saw the reviews in regards to false advertisement, the person that promised to be there not being there, etc. I spoke with two people that made promises of my trade in and that they could meet the trade in value another dealership promised. They offered me $1000 less for my car. They had me go on Edmunds to see my trade in value and that it would be close to that. That would make their offer $1400 less. I told them I would be driving 3 hours with my kids one way and I didn’t want my time wasted because I read the reviews. I also wanted to make sure the vehicle was going to be there. The vehicle was there but they tried to tell me that the actual price was $3000 more and the price listed online was on discount, so I’m still saving even though the trade in is less. So a total of 6 hours of driving for lies and false advertisement. Believe what we are all saying and don’t waste your time going here. The people online or who call you don’t even work there nor communicate with the actual location of the vehicles. They are third party and corporate. I’m infuriated!
I would highly recommend this dealership I have bought my own vehicle here and loved my experience. I have an adorable payment with not the best credit which I did not expect. There were a few recalls on my vehicle the were fixed promptly. I have sent multiple family members here also who have had the pleasure of working with leon he was able to get them in cars they loved and ensured they got the best deal including ensuring they had a good warranty. Very personable and paitent. Will definitely continue to send people here and i will buy all my future vehicles here. Prices are great.

The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The vehicle that they sold me needed more work than anticipated and they were not willing to work with me on any warranty issues. I actually had to call Ford corporate and they told me that theyve had more than their fair share of complaints about this particular dealership and the quality of cars that they sell. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a quality used car.

Called the Service Department on very short notice. I am from Michigan and had trouble with my Ford Explorer while traveling to Maine through Vermont. Carbone Ford not only managed to give me an appointment on short notice, when I arrive the nice Technician test drove my car and immediately took my car into service to resolve the issue. I was done in less than 40 min. And they did not charge me anything. Can highly recommend Carbone Ford.
After having a truck sold out from underneath me by a dealer Ive worked with for many years, I turned to Carbone. Jamal and Joe were excellent in finding me a truck. Unfortunately when it arrived a recall disqualified me from purchasing it. After many weeks and no movement, they found me a brand new truck with the same features and honored the price. Jamal was a phenomenal salesman to work with and was patient throughout my 1000 phone calls.

Every aspect of this truck buying experience has been a great deal of work on our part even though we walked in with check in hand. Have been treated as an inconvenience for service after the sale... Never ever again... BTW- this is the FIRST NEGATIVE REVIEW I HAVE EVER GIVEN

The sales person was friendly and helpful, however, we waited 45 minutes for the car we were interested in to be brought for a test drive. When he returned we were told that that car had been sold in the inventory not updated. There was another car sitting right in front of the dealership that was the same but a different color. When he retrieved the car keys it was discovered that the lights have been left on and the battery was dead. We left.
I would give minus stars if possible. Made an appointment to see someone and drove 3 hours to get there. They had no idea we were coming. We were tossed between three salesmen, one of which could not have been more rude. The two vehicles we came to see were filthy. When I tried to put the convertible top down on one, it broke while open so I could not even drive the car. One of the worst car buying experiences ever. It didn’t seem to matter we had come 3 hours and were serious buyers. Perhaps this company has adopted the non-commission sales model for its sales people. Terrible idea, no incentive for them to be nice to you. Go anywhere else,

Carbone Ford in Bennington VT is a joke! Went there a few months back to get a replacement car starter installed. Was told it would take about 3-5 days to get the part in. Waited and waited......called and called for 2-3 weeks and no one knew anything. Today I go in for my scheduled service which was supposed to be ready for pick up at 1pm and they hadn’t even touched it yet. I love the Ford Edge I purchased from them but the service is the worst I’ve ever experienced.
I got a great deal on my Escape in late 2014 and the sales people were terrific. They were not pushy at all - it was a very nice experience. Ive had all my servicing done there since I bought the car and again theyve been great.

Drove 2 hours with a 4 month old to test drive a vehicle after working with the online sales department (Peggy) and making an appointment for a test drive. When I arrived I was told that the vehicle I had arranged to drive had several issues preventing it from getting a VT inspection and therefore could not even be test driven. This would have been really good to know before making the drive to test drive a vehicle that could not be test driven. A similar vehicle was on the lot, but that also could not be test driven.The salesman was nice and upfront about it once I got there, although he acted like I should have known the online sales person was in another state when their email signature had the Bennington, VT address. Very disappointing to learn that internet sales was in a different state and didnt even know enough about the vehicles they are selling online to tell me it couldnt be test driven and that the dealership didnt even seem to be aware I was coming after I was told they were expecting me.

Had a piece of protective plastic housing come loose under the vehicle that caused a loud grinding sound. Brought it to ford without an appointment, within ten minutes the problem was fixed. Minimal time, minimal cost. Great service!
Well...what else is there to say. EVERY single bad review is absolutely, %100 correct. Gross misrepresentation of used vehicles. Picture games, vehicle is junk in person. Changes the price once you drive 2 hours to see it. They try to pull this “Vermont as is” sale...meaning they aren’t required to look at or service used vehicles they just price them the same as fully serviced “ready to go” then when you get there, WHOOPS sorry we forgot to mention this vehicle is “as is” never ran through the shop. So yeh...if you plan on driving more than 10 minutes, you WILL WASTE YOUR TIME. Guaranteed. It’s all a fake game and a joke. Don’t bother people!!! Read the reviews!
Completely Incompetent lairs; Dont waste your money!!I called and asked if I can have my car towed there when it broke down and if they would be able to get it in. The said they would look at it that day. After having it towed I didnt hear anything. I called and they didnt even know what I was talking about. The rep on the phone said they didnt have my car. They had it. How do you not know a tow truck dropped off a car, handed you the keys and told you who it was for. After three days of them telling me they would look at it guaranteed that day I have to pay to have it towed to a mechanic that will at least be honest.

Mentioning it was AS IS. We were left in the office while We listened to the sales team laugh and talk amongst each other for 30 minutes before we just left and went to another dealership. Please do yourself a favor and do business with another dealer.

Called about a truck was told it was available with an email confirmation service up the appointment for a test ride called and let them know I was on my way up to see the truck earlier then the appointment, got a call back from them and was told the truck was sold and was told that I should not have been told it was available, seems to me like these people need to talk to each other,by the way I live over an hour away from this dealer and was called when I was about halfway there, will not buy from the or recommend them

Went up to Mount Snow for the weekend and got surprised when my water pump in my 2013 F150 decided to retire. Long story short, Casey was able to get me in on a Saturday and had me back on the road by Monday. Throughout the experience, he got me set up in a rental to get me back to the mountain as quickly as possible. He even fed me some bacon! I purchased a vehicle from Carbone Ford in Bennington. I paid more than $3,000 underthe KBB value and was happy with my experience there.Unfortunately, I had two issues that were pretty aggravating. The registration/inspection was delayed and could not be provided to me until about 10 days after the temporary registration expired and they sold me a car with a defective headlight.That being said, Carbone handled both situations remarkably well. They paid for a rental car for the entire period that I was unable to drive the car I purchased from them. They also, and this really blew my mind, replaced the headlight that had issues more than a month after I purchased the car. They had no obligation to do so as they sold me the car as-is.Every employee that I interacted with was pleasant and helpful.

Fred and Lexi at the ford dealer are the worst people to work with that, I have experienced in a LONG time !!! Poor customer service!! I have tryed to contact Fred numerous times and left messages with on his phone and never called me back. This happened for 2 weeks !! Lexi I called today and she said her computer had crashed and she would call me back when it came back up never called . Horrible I would not do any bussness with this dealer!!
