These folks were amazing. Had an emergency flat in the middle of emergency medical situation with family. From the first phone call to verify they had tire I needed in stock to the process of getting installation done they were compassionate, responsive and efficient.

I waited 1-1/2 hours to be completely finished and that was after paying for and making an appointment online. This is unacceptable to say the least. I would come back because the people seem knowledgeable but I will know next time to plan on being there 2 hours even with an appointment.

Only took a year to get a tire replaced. Best service ever. Oh the didnt have the same brand had to settle for a different one. Basically they gave me no choice. Done at discount tire.

On a family trip and got a large chunk of metal in my tire. Was able to make to this Discount Tire. This team was amazing. Pulled me, my family, and my Dog into a service bay immediately. They repaired the tire at NO COST and had me out in 30 min. The team was incredibly friendly and professional. Highly recommend this Discount Tire!

This Discount Tire was a life saver! I had a flat on my way out of Michigan for the weekend, and they were awesome! I told them my situation, and even though they were running behind that day, they were able to install my tire and check the others in record time! The employees at this Discount Tire are clearly hard workers who care about their clients. I am so grateful for them being at this location.

The staff were great - they immediately came to help me - as I had a flat. They diagnosed the problem and worked after close to fix it. The waiting area was clean and air conditioned. The staff were very helpful along the way. Definitely highly recommend!

Had to get the tires rotated and this is the place to go. I always buy my tires from discount. They are helpful and honest about the condition of tires. Now they are taking appointments only which is great because you no longer have to wait in those long lines they used to have. Great place to go if you need new tires or tire service. They sell wheels as well.

Sat in lobby over 25 minutes while truck sat untouched on driver side. Then sat additional 20 minutes while truck was done and parked at end of parking lot. I was a customer of 15yrs. Each yr gets worse....!

These guys go above and beyond every single time. After having a TPSM replaced it was not registering on my vehicle, they did not stop until they found the issue and didnt let me leave until they saw the light go off and problem fixed. In my time waiting I witness phones ringing off the hook and endless customers. Despite how busy they were, I saw polite and top notch service given to each and full attention to the person at hand. We worked thru the issue together and I am so grateful for their expertise!

This place is fantastic. The customer service is outstanding and I would recommend. I was passing through traveling and had a tire issue. Belle Tire would not help because it was closing and I felt they were pretty rude. Although they were closing Discount brought me in and took excellent care of me. I am grateful and was able to get right back on the road.

Good experience. In 15 minutes I had 2 new tires installed. The scheduled appointment was great -on time and fast. I asked to take one old tire with me to make a spare. They protected the trunk with a plastic bag to keep it clean - thanks! The one thing I would change - an insurance for the new tires was included on the bill without asking me if I wanted it. If it is optional, please ask me if I want it before charging for it. I asked and it was taken out. If not for this, it would be a 5 star rating.

A person waiting while getting tires done changed her mind about tire disposal and asked to keep her old tires. A younger worker behind the counter quietly asked an older manager what to do about the tire disposal fee. She overheard but mistakenly though she would be charged for keeping her tires. After a bunch of whispering and walking in and out of the lobby ignoring her the younger worker finally came back in and told her oh no you dont have worry about any charges your okay to keep your old tires She was relieved and happy to hear that she could keep her old tires and went back on her phone. No one explained to her she already paid tire disposal fees.

Ive never had a bad experience in all the years Ive gone to Discount Tire in Benton Harbor, but today was an even better experience. Not only did they change a tire but they changed it at closing time and were still extremely pleasant about it. I know what is like to have that customer that shows up right before closing time. Youve worked all day, your tired and youre more then ready to go home. I appreciate the extra time you guys spent at work because of me. If it hadnt been an emergency I would have done the right thing and made an appointment. Kudos to guys working there. I wont go anywhere else.

I’ve known most of the employees for over a year now, it seems like Chase likes to have most of his employees under his thumb at all times. He seems like being fair to his employees is rocket science and has the mindset as if he treats them bad if they don’t want to work for him that it will magically make them want to stay and work for him, sorry to say this isn’t a fairytale!

Been taking my cars there since my dad told me about them when I moved to Michigan in 1988. This is 2021. I prefer Discount Tire for their friendliness and efficiency. Excellent.

Called in the morning, got an appointment in less than an hour. Got in and out with my brand new tires in under an hour. Couldnt of had a better experience on a count of the top-notch customer service!

Was told car was finished, it wasnt, still waited about 20 minutes for the last tire. Took 2 hours for a 4:30 appointment fir a set of tires.

After being denied by two other tire repair shops for needing a quick repair while traveling, Chase and the crew at Discount Tire quickly offered to inspect and repair our tire and got us on our way in under an hour. I highly recommend their service.

Had to old mower tires removed and new tires put on. Great price for this work.

Recently had 2 new tires put on. There was a mistake on the work order which caused me to have to wait around for another 30 minutes but Chad, the assistant manager called later that day to apologize and provided me with a refund for my time. I left pretty annoyed but understand mistakes happen and the fact management took responsibility and made it right is all the difference. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend giving them a chance!

Called yesterday around 430pm & Chad set up my appt for today at 330pm Wed May 5th, I had a customer rep that Im not sure of his name & the tire tech had it done within an hr & actually put my wheel cover back on & put my spare under the truck. This location did a great job. Chase was extremely helpful. I hit a pothole while on a road trip in Michigan in my Tesla with my wife and kids. Teslas dont have a spare tire, so I was in a bit of a jam. They were very kind did not take advantage of the situation and got me on the way quickly. Thanks so much guys!

Very very slow for the amount of employees working. 4 hours total from start to finish. Truck should be lifted with jack under rear axle. They lifted truck by frame and shock mount. Right front tire came off ground when they jacked up rear of truck! Good news is they replaced the tire.

They gave me an Excellent deal on the Michelin Defender T Series. Great warranty as well! Theyve got my business for now on.

Recently the wife and I had to take the boy away to college in Maryland and because time was an issue, i had discount tire put on 4 new tires. 5 Star customer service!!! I was on a 300 mile trip from Chicago to East Michigan when I had a flat tire near Benton Harbor. When all other Tire shops turned me away, Chase from this Discount Tire store gave me his word that hell put me back on the road if I wait a few hours. I cant thank you enough Chase, I think youve converted me into a loyal customer.

I have had an absolutely great experience with Discount Tire. While getting flat tires is never fun, this establishment has made it as painless as possible. Twice now, they have worked with me and my schedule to get me a replacement tire at the best price possible. I have worked with Daryl, Chad, and Chase and someone else I cant remember. But they all had great customer service. There is also free water and snacks, which was nice.When I got my first flat, I thought I was being talked into an insurance I didnt need. It was somewhere in the ballpark of $40. But I was glad they convinced me it wasnt a scam because the next flat I got, they replaced it for just the price of labor. If youve ever bought a tire, you know its way more than $40. Ive dealt with a lot of shady businesses but this isnt one of them. I will say the wait can sometimes be long, but if you call and schedule an appointment before you go, it makes things way quicker. I dont see any need to use anyone but Discount Tire for the rest of the time Im in the area.

We buy tires from Discount Tire in metro Detroit consistently. We got a flat tire on the west side of Michigan while driving to WI for Christmas, went to this local Discount Tire and received kind, quick, efficient service. Every person we interacted with was warm and friendly. We called on our way there and they checked us in over the phone so things were expedited. They quickly repaired the tire (FOR FREE!!!!) and even helped us unload all of our Christmas presents from the truck to get the spare tire back into place. Plus they were nice to our two dogs 🙂 I cant say enough about how wonderful our experience was with this Discount Tire.

Recently I realized I needed tires on my vehicle. After having a bad experience at another local tire shop I decided to go to Discount Tire on Napier Avenue in Benton Harbor. I found the online appointment service very convenient and easy. I was greeted with a handshake and a smile and was very pleased with the whole experience from start to finish. The young man that assisted me was very professional, knowledgeable, and listened to my questions and answered those questions with great knowledge.(thanks Jonathan). Even the store manager spoke with me which I found very impressive and not something you find very often in any type of service environment, must be the excellent training that is provided to the employees of Discount Tire. And I also was able to speak with the technician that did the work on my car and he explained everything that was done. I was very impressed with the professionalism that the team at discount has for its customers. If you are in need of wheels, tires, or even trailer tires and wheels stop into Discount Tire you will probably find exactly what youre looking for at a great price! The next time I need tires or wheels they will be purchased at Discount Tire.

Great customer service and quality tires at a decent price! One of the writers, Dave, was able to quickly replace my tire for my trailer so I could get back on the road and on my way home. There was a long wait but he went out to the shop himself and managed to get it done very fast so I could get my infant home in time.Make sure to see Dave next time you have tire or wheel needs!

Arrived at 1:45 for a 2pm appointment and didnt get my van back until almost 4 pm. Set up the appointment so it would be quicker. I specifically asked how long it would take because I have kids waiting at daycare...

Ive had a broken belt in my van tire for a few weeks, but couldnt afford to get a new tire. Of course, the bulge decided to finally burst through at the most inopportune moment as I was working an event that involved driving between multiple cities. I was just going to throw my spare on, but to my dismay one of the lug nuts was stripped. I was able to pump the tire up just enough to hobble over to this Discount Tire location. I explained to Chad that if they could just get the tire off and put my spare on that I would be on my way. However, he was extremely concerned about my safety driving too far on my spare. He explained that it would be a lot safer for me to get the tire replaced. I was already extremely stressed out and explained to him the financial burden Ive been under recently, and that affording even a cheap used tire would be extremely difficult. He said he would do what he could to help me during the situation. And he absolutely did! The team at Discount Tire was able to take my practically non-existent budget into account, because they were extremely worried about my safety. I am so grateful for their attention to detail and for their genuine kindness! They really do care about the people who walk through those doors. It was so unexpected and kind of them that I literally cried in the shop. Thank you to Chad and the team at Discount Tire for caring about my safety and helping me out in a stressful situation!

These Guys here were Great! They were a little late getting caught up to the appointment time for my vehicle, but 40 minutes later, they got me right in!!

Chad was great. I ordered some tires online, and because I dont know anything about tires, I ordered the wrong ones. He was very helpful, and not at all pushy when selecting the correct ones. The bill was adjusted without issue, and they also replaced a sensor for free. Total time: 60 minutes.

The place was busy and 2 hours before closing was informed that they should be about to have a loose tire installed. Got back at 20 minutes til and checked on the status I was informed that they was working on it. 1 hour later told theyre just started working on it. Come to find out it was done 5 minutes after coming back by the store. The assistant manager was no help but the manager Logan was a great help on the matter.
