My wife and I decided to purchase our son and daughter in law a new bed because they just had a baby (our grandson) and their current bed was wore out and way to tall for daughter in law to get in and out with baby. We stopped by mattress firm in benton harbor, mi and was quickly greeted at the door by their associate Travis Russell. We informed Travis of exactly what we were looking for and the price range we needed to stay within. Travis showed us many options within our range and helped us pick out the perfect bed for them. It even has a tilting base so she can sit up and breastfeed if needed. The manager at the Benton Harbor Mattress Store was very knowledgeable and professional in dealing with my wife and I. This made choosing our purchase quite easy.

We went in a bit on a whim, a bit ready to purchase. We’d been talking about upgrading from a queen to a king for awhile, and were admittedly lured in by the clearance / sale posters. Well... that went out the window once we started trying out the beds. Our “tour guide,” Samantha, was very knowledgeable, friendly, not at all pushy, and made the experience enjoyable. She simply suggested models for us to try based on our preferences and feedback. Eventually we found ourselves on a Temperpedic mattress with an adjustable base... as soon as she raised the legs and we felt all the pressure in our back melt away, we were sold. Our new splurge will be delivered on Sunday, and I couldn’t be more excited. They also offer 0% interest over life of the loan (4 years of you finance through them / their third party). That sealed the deal for us. My G’ma always told me, “don’t be cheap where you sleep!” As “middle age” brings some new aches and pains, I’m ready to heed her advice.

DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS FROM THEM! They dont even deserve 1 star for this review! We recently purchased a new Tempur-Pedic mattress and adjustable base bed from Travis Russell in the Benton Harbor store and were told we could return our mattress/base to get a different one if the one we purchased did not meet our satisfaction. My husband has back issues and we were looking for a bed that would help with that. Travis assured us repeatedly that if after sleeping on the bed for a minimum of 21 nights and it didnt work for us that we could return it and use the money we paid (minus a $250 restocking fee) towards a different bed. We went to store today to initiate a return and purchase a new mattress and we were told that the $1800 base was not returnable!!! We didnt even want the base but our salesperson convinced us to get it for the AI sleep monitoring feature that doesnt even work on my husbands side of the bed! Had we been told that the base was not able to be returned then we never would have purchased it in the first place! Not to mention that it makes no sense whatsoever that you can return a mattress (that you come in contact with when sleeping) but you cant return the base that goes underneath the mattress?!? We requested to speak to a manager & we were told NO that it wasnt possible to speak to a manager. VERY DISAPPOINTED! We spent over $7,000 for this bed and now we are stuck with something that we dont even want!

This is the 3rd mattress that our family has bought from Mattress Firm. I am a die hard beauty rest mattress fan and Mattress Firm carries the best variety of beauty rest models. The last 2 mattresses were bought from the Benton Harbor store from Travis. He is a very good salesman. He helped us through the financing and made it painless. The mattresses have been a life saver for back pain and general comfort. The free adjustable base is nice because they help so much with back issues We all sleep so much better now.

We knew what kind of bed we wanted, Travis Russell explained and helped us get the bed we needed.

I wanted to get this posted PRIOR to getting the requests for a review, because I feel it will mean more this way. The whole process was text book excellence; sales/delivery! We were searching various websites for a new mattress and came to this site as the third check. Up popped a window for a CHAT, which I accepted and started to ask several questions and answer their questions... Our biggest issue was we live full-time in an RV and needed the new KING mattress to fit. Our measurements were slightly shorter, 4 in width, but the chat sales person assured me it would fit and if not they would provide a full refund at no charge. The chat sales person knew their products well and instilled confidence in our purchase. The mattress, Recharge Signature Select Hartfield 11.5 Luxury Firm Mattress, was already on sale, I received an additional 10% purchasing via chat, and I also received an additional Military discount. Delivery was also added, as well as free removal of our old mattress. Two days later, today, the delivery guys arrived within their 2-hour window. They were both extremely friendly and professional. I expressed my concerns about the fit and they said; well lets see... It fit perfectly!!! They took the old one out and left; total time here at the RV was ~20 minutes! The mattress is exactly the firmness we wanted and has a 10-year warranty. The absolute best sales and service experience I have received in a VERY long time.

She encouraged us to try out the various mattresses that we were interested in and was very informative about the mattresses and the bases that were available. We chose a mattress and base, then she looked to see if there were any other discounts the mattress or base manufacturers might have and she printed out the information. She encouraged us to take a day or two to think about it. We left the store feeling very informed and comfortable that we could make an educated decision. Two days later we went back ready to finalize the purchase and Travis helped us through the process. He double checked all the information, explained some things that we could expect when we got our new mattress, then finalized the transaction, making sure we had copies of everything. We are highly satisfied with our experience with Tehra and Travis at Mattress Firm.

I spent way more than i planned on spending, because my eyes were opened to quality and comfort, by a professional.I am so excited to get our new bed and mattress, as opposed to being upset, that i thought i was going to spend $500 on a mattress. The delivery was exactly when they said it would be and was exactly what I ordered. Between sales and extras thrown in by the awesome salesman I saved $867.00!! I bought an expensive adjustable base. With the height of the base and thick mattress, it made it slightly difficult for my 5 foot tall wife to get up on. The salesman saw this and ordered shorter legs for the base for no additional cost. If I could give more stars I would!!

Went to get a new bed the person that was helping us was down right rude. This was the second place I looked at getting a mattress, the sales person Sean, Shawn. How ever you spell his name he was so rude. Telling me that he will beat the Competitors price but Im going to get a less quality bed for the price that I wanted to be in. But the way he went about it being pushy and mean, speaking to me like I was such a smaller person then him. It was so rude. Never going back. Would definitely give zero stars if I could.
