Jason was friendly, respectful and very helpful!It was like night and day compared to the huge fiasco about 3 years ago.He was professional and answered all my questions and concerns without being condescending.Everything was addressed and the overall experience this time has left me thinking about coming back for my regular maintenance upkeep and possibly detail cleaning I used to have done there until the previous mess up.I dont know if its under new management but you can definitely tell there more care for good quality customer service!Im hoping I can gain back my trust in simple oil changes that wont lead to horrible 3 time unfinished mess if a job that I experienced when they lied and didnt do what they said they did and in top of it could have blown up my engine!2021 has been a much better experience.Thank you Jason!

I took my 2013 terrain to the service department today to review some factory recalls on my vehicle and yes more than one the one that concern me the most was excessive oil consumption because your motor is the life of your vehicleI learned that normal oil consumption is 1 qt. for 1000 miles wow so doing the math on a regular maintenance oil change 3000 Miles I would have added three quarts of oil I have owned several GM vehicles and never put any oil in or never had any oil consumption issues this is a recall folks GM needs to go back to the drawing board on this one because I have been on phone every since I left trying to get answers because Im so confused 😕!

I felt my trade in was not valued properly. The salesman said because of the lift on my truck it would only value the payoff of what I owed 36k. When asked for an additional thousand towards a tonneau cover I was told again my trade in was not worth it. My old truck now is listed for 44k on your lot. Obviously I was right my truck was worth more and was lied to by the salesman. I will never buy a truck here again and will be warning people about the trade in scam I experienced.

Wife went in for an oil change last week. They gave her a laundry list of things her car needed including replacing a leaking water pump GASKET at a cost of $288. Note this is just the gasket. When questioning Ryan Gallimore the service manager why they didnt quote replacement of the water pump as well since they had to remove it to replace the gasket, he said that when it was brought in for work that would probably have been suggested. The pump is $260! This would DOUBLE the quoted price. No answer as to why it wasnt just suggested in the beginning. He consulted with the shops lead master mechanic who agreed the water pump should just be replaced since it was off and he would have suggested such. They also said the cabin air filter needed replacement as well as the main air filter. The wife also declined these wanting to confer with me. When I checked them they had only latched one of the two latches for the cabin air filter and left one of two screws half out of the main air filter cover! Among all the things they listed as being needed, nothing was said about an oil soaked hose on the power steering pump right next to the water pump! Ive had plenty of issues with this shop in the past and after finally getting to speak with the service manager Ive lost what little faith I had. I could not in any good faith recommend this dealership for ANYTHING unless a major shake up in management from top to bottom were to happen.Edit to address the response from Owner: The ONLY reason I had any contact from dealership was because I walked in and gave them no choice! I had been trying to speak with (and been ducked by) the service manager since they scammed me $3700 for an engine repair they botched FOUR TIMES! After paying your shop $3700 I wound up taking it a year later to Crain who correctly diagnosed, repaired, AND got Buick to split the cost BECAUSE McLarty BOTCHED the job so badly! Why is it PUBLICLY is the ONLY place I can get McLarty management to respond?

I have purchased 5 vehicles from another dealership locally and have never had anyone sit and explain to me all the functions of my vehicle. The salesman was one of the best that I have ever dealt with. And the finance gentleman was very explanatory. From the minute that we drove on the lot we felt it our business was valued. We had intended to go and test drive another vehicle in another city but chose not to due to how we were treated. We could not drive away from the lot that had made us feel that our business was so appreciated!

I came for a regular 15k maintenance and the all process was quick and efficient. You feel as an important customer as soon as you park in front of the garage door. Inside, there is always someone available to checkin right away. The waiting lounge is very convenient, you can wait comfortably while waiting for your car to be serviced. Checkout takes no time, the report of what as been done is very clear. The bill is very reasonable. So double thumbs up for the service.

This place was awesome to us. My wife and I were travelling for our anniversary and blew an engine in our car. After a long frustrating day, we got to McLarty and they gave us a courtesy car so we could get to our destination to celebrate our anniversary. Then Friday we drove back and bought a new car. Walked around the lot yesterday ( Saturday, middle of the day) for about 25 minutes. I went from truck to truck without a single sales person approaching me. I finally walked in and asked if there were any salesmen available. After being asked almost right away “ what do you do for a living” and getting a long lecture on how they are a “gmc premium dealership” and how they mostly have top trim trucks, I got the impression that they did not want my business. Luckily for me, I was able to drive down the road to a competitor GMC dealership and get $3k more trade in on my “low level SLE and find the right truck for me.

My husband had pre-arranged for me to be able to drop off my car and pick up a courtesy car. This should have been an easy process. Upon arrival on April 2, the secretary (M. Ogden is her email) was very short with me through the process as nothing was ready for me. The attitude and rudeness I experienced from this lady was uncalled for and very unprofessional.I am a well educated professional and expect to be treated with kindness when using a service.She also kept telling me that the courtesy car better be clean and gassed when it is returned. This was in a threatening manner.My husband had just paid $200 to have my car totally detailed for my birthday. I had just picked it up from the detail shop and driven straight to your shop. So, I asked her if I could expect the same of my car, that it be returned with the full tank of gas it had and spotless as it was right then. She told me that it probably wouldnt be returned that way!Finally a mechanic came in and realized how she was talking to me and cut in to tell me that he would make sure it was just as clean as it was then when I picked it up and assured me that they would take care of my car.I appreciate the mechanic and all of his help, but because of the way the office help treated me, I am reconsidering making future purchases from your establishment.

Very unimpressed with the sales department at this dealership. I filled out an application online and found a vehicle I liked, called to make sure I was approved, and drove 45 minutes to test drive the vehicle only to find out that I wasnt approved for that particular vehicle and the salesman was making rude gestures about women and nicely stated behind when I referred to my Jeep axles being bad. Was trying to get me financed for a different vehicle but would not let me see it until I was approved for financing. I will take my business elsewhere.

Ive worked with Ricardo on a number of occasions - he is my go to for routine maintenance for my Encore GX. He is always kind and informative. Had a break sensor issue replaced under warranty - unfortunately the brake pads ordered were the wrong size, had to defer the car work a couple weeks. Ricardo took care of the oil change for the inconvenience. Cant say enough great things about him - get the man a promotion.

I arrived early at the service center by 40 minutes. I had left hone early, not knowing what traffic would be like since I was traveling about 70 miles. I checked in and they said they would do what they could to get me out as quickly as possible. They were awesome. I left there 8 minutes after what my actual appointment time. I was amazed.

Showed up at the lot to see a truck that one of the internet sales specialist told me would be on hold. Arrived to the dealership and waited for the sales lady to track down the keys because it wasnt waiting as I was told. Once she found the keys that another salesman had, she delivered the truck to the front of the dealership. I looked over the truck and was interested. I asked for a test drive and was immediately told that the truck is sold as-is and if I purchased it, I would have to tow the truck off the lot and unable to drive it at all because the dealership refuses to do a safety inspection on as-is vehicles. Sounds really shady and dishonest on the dealerships part. Plan to avoid McLarty Daniel from now.

While I didnt purchase my vehicle at the MD Buick/GMC dealership, it was at the Nissan MD Dealership, I have my vehicle serviced at MD Buick/GMC because its a Chevy (GM Product) & I dont want to drive all the way to Elm Springs/Springdale for the Chevy Dealership. Every time I have it serviced, they do a great job at telling me what is wrong, what is immediate that needs replaced, and takes the time to review my Extended Warranty to see if any of the services are covered! Great experience which goes to Arthur in the Service Dept. at MD Buick/GMC!

Overly priced vehicles well over the MSRP. They low ball you on your trade in by thousands of dollars. The finance companies they use have outrageous interest rates. Left there and went to another dealership and ordered my vehicle from them at the MSRP. Don’t do business here.

We needed a wheel & tire for our upcoming road trip. Called 4 times and every time somebody said they would have to “research and call us back”. We never once got a call back. I FINALLY got to talk with someone actually IN the service department (Brad), who was extremely helpful and apologetic for the bad service we received from the apparent call center. However, apparently the wheel & tire now can no longer get here in time to be useful for our trip. 1) It shouldn’t be that hard or take that much work to order parts from you all, 2) I will now be taking my services anywhere other than a McLarty Daniel location. In person is a wonderful experience, but your call center was a VERY bad idea!!

Great service department!!!We purchased two vehicles from another location of this same dealership. My truck is great and we love it. The wifes car had some issues that were difficult to track down, and we had to bring it in several times before finally it was fixed. I want to give a huge shout out to the entire service department. Arthur was a huge help and very upfront and involved in the process. Hof was great as well. I never did get the name of the mechanic, but they deserve praise as well. I know the team hated to see us come in yet again, but they never made us feel bad, and always listened to our concerns. This location/dealership went above and beyond what they were legally obligated to do. Thanks again guys. If we trade up in vehicles or ever replace one, we will purchase from these folks. My wife feels the same.

I had an 8:30 appointment to check out my AC/Heating in my 2012 Acadia. It took over 2 hours to diagnose the problem and then another 30 plus minutes to let me know that they had the parts in stock and it could be fixed that day if I left it for another 5 hours. I had to go out to the service desk to find things out instead of them keeping me informed of the situation. Was not happy about that BUT the repairs were completed and so far everything seems to be working fine.

This is the worst customer experience we have dealt with to date. Not only did my husband have his vehicle there for service for two business days while nothing happened in addition to a complete lack of communication, but when we called for another update the service advisor told us major changes that had to be done that ended up being for the wrong vehicle... When my husband got there to get his truck because we didn’t want these drastic changes he had to wait 1.5 hours for an oil change. This was last Friday and we are still waiting to hear from anyone on a part that was supposed to have taken 2 days to come in that we have already partially paid for....

Terrible buying experience. Left you $ to pay off my loan and you put it as a down payment on car purchased. Rebates were put on invoice incorrectly, so I had to pay tax on rebates and my loan payoff I already paid taxes on. I had a coupon for an oil change and thought I’d save $, to find out you now charge customers 3% of “total” bill to use a credit card “so you can grow and reduce your overhead expenses.” I will never purchase a vehicle or get service, unless your the last resort. I’m a single mom out of work and had to go get cash to avoid paying you a fee. You clearly don’t appreciate customers and certainly can’t retain them.

My experience with this dealership started out nicely. I received a reminder call for my service and the lady that took care of me was super nice. I got there in the morning and dropped off my car for an oil change tire rotation and windshield wiper replacement. They did call me and let me know that I needed air filters changed as well, and I OK that work. My advisor Maxwell was kind. Where they were really went wrong was on check out. When I was called and told my vehicle was ready I was given a total yes ma’am this is all it Is including tax. Nothing was mentioned about anything else. I arrived at the dealership to pick up my car and handed them my credit card to pay my bill. The guy looked at my card and says oh by the way this is a credit card so we’re going to charge you 3% more. I am OK with this as long as I’m told up front but I really felt like this was shady business, and it really left a bad taste in my mouth on it otherwise pretty good experience. I will not be coming back to this dealership because of this kind of tomfoolery. They lost my business over six dollars.

Called for service appointment and no problems there. Also had broken vanity mirror on passenger side that was replaced under warranty about a year ago and has broken again in same manner. Was told it would be about 250$ for parts and 40$ labor that would be my responsibility. I don’t feel it should have broken again and should not have to pay again. Unable to speak with a service manager because he was busy in a meeting. No offer to have him contact me later but he did give me his business card.

This is not a complain, just an observation.When I arrived for my appointment, I requested a shuttle ride to get back to work while my car was worked on. was told to wait for it and it did not arrived until two hours later.The previous visit was told that they would value my car for trade in while it was worked on, it never happened. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They have bent over backwards to make everything to our satisfaction. I M not sure where they found him but our salesman was the Greatest! Never before has one taken time with us without rushing us and pressuring us into buying. Never stood over our shoulders when we just wanted tine to look! Was very kind and willing to take time out of his time off to make thing right! Aaron was his name! He deserves to be recognised by you! Will always choose him and recommend him to everyone!
