Very hip and cool looking coffee shop. The staff work here are nice and welcoming. The environment is so cool and laid back. It has an outdoor as well as indoor seating. I ordered an iced mocha and spent some time here. The coffee was pretty decent. But more then the coffee I liked there indoor vibe with cool speaker system and benches.
Airship has great coffee. I normally have a cappuccino with oat milk. My friend had their matcha latte and really enjoyed it too. They have a vegan breakfast taco that is really good - even though its not made fresh (it is heated before serving). Airship also has a dog park area and its entertaining to sit there and see the doggies playing.
Airship Coffee is definitely superior coffee and the food is delicious, but theres more to Airship than the food and coffee (as if there needs to be more.) At both locations, Airship offers its patrons tranquility and a bit of Zen. The concept that Airship seems to represent is one of natural minimalism, one of nature, light, and life. A concept of slowing down to take just a moment to take in and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. Airship seems to say, Come in, leave the weight of the world outside. Lets talk over a cup of coffee.
A literal hidden gem. This coffee shop/lunch spot/hangout is hidden away inside the Coler trails accessible only by walking/biking path. I do not believe that there are a couple steps to get up, so possibly not wheelchair friendly but, I could be remembering wrong.Their food is pretty good, the coffee was really tasty, and I think they also have adult beverages.A must stop if you are riding the trails!
My favorite coffee place in Bentonville! Delicious coffee, always served hot, fresh, and with warm service. Usually populated with younger folk working away on their laptops inside, or relaxing in their large patio/yard in front of the shop, in nicer weather. Good place to meet up with a small group of coworkers or friends, or just bring a book and relax. Highly recommend!
One of the best local coffee shops in bentonville! I love the different roasts they offer & their house blend drip coffee. Their lattes are also great! Super nice baristas & dog-friendly ❤️
One of my favorite spots in NWA! The coffee is great and the staff are always inviting & helpful. They have GREAT fresh pastries as well! The only downside is they have very unreliable WiFi - not the best spot to work on a laptop (though I would love to!!)
Love their space. It is great to meet in groups. Good latte
I come here before guitar practice for some hot chocolate, very friendly staff. Also dog friendly, thank God.
Super fun place to go and drink coffee outside in the beautiful courtyard!
I like the atmosphere here as much as the coffee. There’s even a little “dog park” out front! The coffee is of a high quality and roasted correctly to bring out great flavor. I also enjoyed the turntable providing the in-house tunes. Cool space to hang for sure.Update: coffee is still excellent but the turntable has been replaced by a little book store. Books are great but I loved that turntable...
Good choices of drinks. Lots of coffee beans for sale, too. Cute little place with indoor and outdoor seating.
Delicious drink (something I’ve never tried before - I love experimenting with their drinks) and the store itself is way cool. Friendly staff and they were all masked up! Thanks!
This place has dine-in during the pandemic and your required to have a mask until your seated. Coffee was hot and beans roasted on site. Love that they have two roll up garage doors. They have inside seating and outdoor patio seating as well.I inquired from this employee on their espresso and was surprised. It seems in the last twenty years espresso shot is pulled at 26 seconds which use to be 21 seconds. (Italian way) Also milk is steamed to 135 which is just a little past warm.
Fantastic coffee! Great atmosphere too.
Not really impressive.Mocha was good but not hot actually barely lukewarm.Breakfast taco was burnt.
This coffeeshop has an amazing atmosphere! Lots of outdoor seating with picnic tables. Our barista was friendly and waited for us patiently to decide what we wanted on the menu. They have a nice variety of espresso based drinks and also kombucha on tap. I got the iced honey bliss latte with oatmilk which was good. The latte was not overly sweet but just right. Cinnamon was sprinkled on top. Their bathrooms were clean as well.
We went yesterday and it was outstanding. It is about a 0.8 mile walk from the parking lot. The breakfast tacos were very good and the coffee was excellent. The 9 year olds even liked their hot chocolate. We cant wait to go back when the weather is a little warmer (it was in the low 30s when we were there).
I had the London Fog, and it was great.
Friendly staff and great selection of whole beans for sale.
The absolute best mocha I have ever had. Simply A-freaking-mazing!
Coffee was ok. Had to add a lot of syrup to make it sweet. I wish their pasties were in stock to try.
I went to the new location at Coler Mountain and it was amazing! The atmosphere was great, there were kids playing and lots of dogs and families. The open-air concept is great for COVID times. Our coffees were delicious and the chicken taco was tasty. Highly recommend making the short (paved) walk out to the new location!
It is a really nice chill coffee shop to sit in and enjoy the view and sun.The staff is so friendly and thoughtful. Highly recommended
Oh youre a coffee lover?? GREAT youre in the right spot!! you know what really makes a great cup of coffee? Really great people! Airship has incredible coffee and even better people. Stop by if you need to be lifted as they say! Caffeine will do that to ya, but a smile goes a lot further.
A little pricey. but the staff are always nice, and the ingredients are quality
Beautiful place with a nice relaxing atmosphere! I love everything about this place-I will most definitely be back!
Great coffee, delicious breakfast burritos and a cool atmosphere. What more could you want?
One of my favorite places to go frequently. I live their kombucha. Their brisket burrito is also very delicious.
My beverages of choice are espresso followed by an americano chaser. Ive been drinking espresso since the early 1990s and have been a consumer of the Northwest Arkansas coffee evolution since 2003. Airship just opened this Bentonville espresso bar/tap room and I love it. Consistently great espresso prepared by properly trained staff. Ive been a fan of Airship wholesale coffee for 10+ years but now I can hangout and sip espresso at their relaxing retail location. Northwest Arkansas coffee/espresso has improved magnitudes since 2003 and Airship has worked hard to rise above and hold a spot in crema of Northwest Arkansas coffee roasters and retail espresso bars.
My husband and I have been coming here since it opened. We love the indoor and outdoor space. Now, with social distancing, the outdoor space is great to have! Especially with a toddler. The coffee is delicious and the have a small assortment of baked goods. They also sell pottery from the studio next door!
We love Airship Coffee! The canister program is perfect for locals.
Great atmosphere, excellent food and beer. The serve was slow, the workers were confused on who ordered what. I thought the price was high for the amount of food received. They would not accept cash either. I hope management can fix it, I think the location is great!
Great coffee, great vibe.
This place made my trip. Took a day trip to AR for the Museum and this was by far my favorite stop. Great coffee, very cool vibe. Unique drinks and cool merch. Great stop.
This is a really cool place. They have great outdoor seating and a fun atmosphere inside. The coffee is great and roasted on site.
Great coffee, and good place to work on a laptop.
I was looking for coffee to put in Christmas socks so I did not sample any coffee. There were a number of people in the shop so I will assume it tastes good! The pumpkin chai tea latte was amazing! The service was excellent and the price was fair. Not being a coffee drinker myself I relied upon the very helpful staff to point me in the right direction.
Great atmosphere and customer service. I don’t know what white peper is, Aaron, but it tastes great!
Airship is the whole package and everything you could hope for in a coffee roaster/shop. Specialty grade, expertly roasted beans, brewed perfectly, and served by the dang friendliest baristas I’ve ever encountered. The shop space is beautiful and comfy as well. This is specialty coffee at its finest!P.S. - Their Blueberry Mint Kombucha is phenomenal.
Great vibe and awesome outdoor area. The drinks were all very good, not overly sweet like some tend to be. Good flavor choices and great location to the Bentonville trail Network
Exceptional coffee beans. Their lattes are fantastic as well. I love the vibe of the shop, too - unassuming, welcoming, and stylish without trying to hard. Favorite coffee place in NWA!
Amazing coffee, amazing atmosphere, amazing staff
Go get a latte from the guy with thong sandals. Best. Latte. Ever.👏🏻
Wonderful coffee and friendly staff!! Great spot to enjoy sitting outside and enjoying a cup of coffee with my daughter!
Walked in saw no masks and no social distancing on ANYONE (workers included) ...DID NOT feel safe so then proceeded to immediately walk out.
Great space and nice selection! Very cool merchandise as well.
Great way to wrap up a fun biking weekend! Sunday morning coffee & scone after riding Slaughter Pen before the long drive home.
The best coffee shop in nwa, love stopping In for a drink. The Kambucha is the bomb, great location I always like checking out the cool branded stuff they have. A local business at its best! Staff is always super nice and it’s cool to see the menu expanding. Hit this place up.
My happy place. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu and the baristas are so kind.
Some of our favorite coffee as well as favorite people. Our favorite bean is the Black Bear as well as the kombucha. Great place to meet up or sit and work. Great outdoor space with picnic tables.
Easily five stars. Coffee is superb! Cool place to hang out, do work or let the kids run around on the grass. Also they do growler fills of their cold brew!
Best coffee in the area!!! It’s my husband and I go weekly.
Q: How do you spell ‘cool’ & ‘delicious’?A: Airship Coffee!
Ive been in the coffee industry for about 5 years, and moved to the area with a job at a different coffee company a few months ago. It was disappointing enough that I quit in 3 weeks, and Ive been shopping around for other spots to support ever since. This is ONLY a review of Airships whole bean coffee - I havent gotten to go to the location yet and I am looking forward to a post pandemic visit despite my lukewarm opinion on their product.I got 2 bags of Airship coffee at the local walmart, pulling from the back so as to get something that wasnt 3 months off roast. Both bags were about 1.5 weeks from roast date, so they ought to be in their prime. I was excited to support a local roaster but on the whole the beans left a lot to be desired. That said, when Im able to visit the shop I still plan to, a good experience at a cafe can make up a lot for a sub par product and I will happily revise this review if its a good spot. For a boutique coffee, Airship was relatively cheap at the grocery store, which is nice. Its a step up from Gevalia without breaking the bank. The packaging was attractive, combining brown paper aesthetics with foil insides for freshness. The bags dont have a lot of information- just some very vague tasting notes (vanilla-brown sugar-caramel) and a big word finder puzzle of buzzwords on the back. Its cute but it takes up a lot of real estate that could have been given to information about the coffee. The sell by date is 6 (!) months past roast but I expect thats a walmart thing so I wont hold it against Airship. The roast date is printed on the part of the packaging that you tear off to open the bag, so to keep track of your freshness you need to write it down yourself.I tried the Buffalo Blend and unfortunately it was not great. The beans appear to have been roasted with a short development time, as one would expect from a very high quality bean. But there is a high frequency of defects in the beans which leaves a lighter roast tasting hollow and flat (which this one does). I dont know enough to tell exactly what grade these are but they would be more enjoyable with more development to hide the problems with the green product. It has a sort of acrid smell that hits you as soon as you open the bag and does not improve when you grind and brew it. It would be nice to have any information at all on the origins of the blend, because my taste buds tell me that it is comprised of the roastery floor sweepings. The Black Apple coffee, on the other hand, seems like a more appropriate use of product. The tasting notes are more specific but still cliche (dark cherry-orange citrus-dark chocolate), letting you know right away that this is a more developed roast. Usually dark chocolate is code for we nuked this almost to second crack but Black Apple is not overdeveloped. Any hint of citrus has been completely cooked out, though. Visually, you can see the beans have fewer defects than Buffalo Blend and the scent is more mildly sweet. Still rather flat but much better. Again, no information on sourcing beyond that its a blend. I brewed it as autodrip because I am lazy and that is one of the methods suggested on the bag. The bag promises incredible drip and that is a stretch. It has a surprisingly hollow mouth feel and shallow flavor given how nice it looked and smelled. Its not bad by any means, but definitely not incredible. It tastes like competently roasted mid-range product, great for everyday budget drinking. I enjoyed it but it didnt make my eyes pop out.On the whole, I recommend the Black Apple coffee from Airship but not the Buffalo Blend. Pull from the top shelf, anything more than a month past roast is already stale and you want to give yourself time to drink it before that happens. Walmart will leave it up 6 months. Black Apple seems like a nice step up from mass produced commodity coffee, I wouldnt put it on par with say, Onyx in terms of quality but the price difference makes it more viable for daily consumption.
Wonderful experience and atmosphere.
Always have a great time at Airship. The shop itself is very relaxed and lowkey, and the minimalist design creates an atmosphere that allows customers to work, read, or meet quietly with others. The coffee itself is high quality, and the the baristas seem very knowledgeable of the coffee-making process. In terms of quality, Airship may make the best coffee in NWA.
Coffee shops and roasters dont come much better than this. Their beans are very high quality, and when you buy their canister (~$30, with the better part of 2lbs of beans) their single source roasts are only $15 a refill - literally half the price of almost anywhere else. You would be stupid to use any other beans for your daily drinker. They pull a great espresso and their special drinks are pretty fantastic, too. And theyre dog friendly. My go-to in NWA for coffee, bar none.
Love this coffee shop! They have great coffee and you can watch the beans being roasted right behind the counter! Excellent place to work, study, have a meeting, or just go and relax with a cup of your choosing.
I love this place. Great coffee and a nice atmosphere. Right down the street from the Momentary as well.
Coffee was amazing, and the vibe in location was fantastic. Conducive for study and hanging with friends.
Such a cute shop and nice environment
Coffee is great and service is spot on! Appreciate the response and clearing up the confusion on the pricing difference on in house vs to-go drinks.
Great location, great coffee. A cozy little gem hidden right in the middle of town.
This lace has great coffee and the atmosphere is good. Staff is friendly and knoWledgeable.
Delicious coffee for us, yummy hot chocolate for the kids, and really nice staff!
Great coffee and the breakfast tacos are good too. Dont miss out on this place!
I get to travel for my job and I always try out top local roasters. Thankfully Airship in my hometown is one of the all time best. We auto-drip their beans at home and my favorite thing to drink in the shop is a mocha. They had a seasonal orange and cardamom mocha (and they still make for me if I ask for it) that’s glorious. Highly recommend!!!!
I think the barista was new... Couldnt find kids for the cups, then forgot my order, but have me a coupon for my wait. The coffee is pretty good though.
We love stopping by here for either a coffee or a beer! The story time on Saturday morning is great for kids. Our toddler loves running around outside and it is low stress for this mom since it is fenced in! A great family-friendly place!
Great service and great atmosphere!
Really great coffee shop! Mark, his family and staff do an excellent job sourcing and roasting all the coffee served. My wife and I love the canister program which helps keep things fresh, economical and environmentally friendly. I would also highly suggest their made in-house kombucha. They usually have at least a couple of flavors on tap ranging from great introductions to something for a more adventurous palette. We love how involved this business and family is in the community and you are always very likely to see them at an event or sponsoring a local group!
Nice cozy coffee bar with a little book store and great house roasted coffee. Plus sustainable and inexpensive coffee beans for sale. Outside seating and dog friendly. One of my favorite in NWA!
Went here for the first time... I will be bring all my nerd friends here from now on. After we spend our time on the square this is going to be the meet up place to talk about all the Pokemon we caught. I am not a coffee person but this place changed my mind about the idea of coffee.
We love Airship! We are a part of the canister program, love that we can get great beans without having to waste a bag. Would definitely recommend!
