Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are equal or less than big box stores. With expert advice on paint in the store there is no need to go anywhere else. This is the best place to get paint and paint supplies.

Fantastic customer service! Im a first time painter and tackling my bathroom first (small project). The guys here were incredibly helpful and never made me feel like I was a stupid first timer asking dumb questions.

We have done business with Sherwin-Williams 40 years. We enjoy their personal touch and their wide variety of products. Our home store used to be Miami Okla. Moved to Bentonville a little over a year and a 1/2 ago and the story continues. This morning was another, very pleasant experience. The young man who waited on me was Luis. Thank you Luis and Sherwin Williams. Keep those good experiences coming!

I’m not sure the “professional associates” know much about their own product. I went in to get paint for my 8 month old deck and was sold 5 gallons of “porch and floor” at about $70 a gallon. The salesman assured me this was the best for my job. I prepped and dried the deck as instructed and painted 2 coats. A week later, after the first rain, it’s peeling and looks horrible. I called a local professional painter for advice and he was appalled that they recommend this type of paint for an uncovered exterior deck. He even said it would trap moisture and peel more as soon as the sun came out. I guess these salesmen were more concerned about selling the $70 can verses the $40 can? Would have made no difference. Nothing to do now but sand/strip it all off and apply the correct type of paint. I’m sure that’s not going to be cheap. Thanks “professional” for wasting my time and money.

Great experience bc of the knowledge and helpfulness of the person helping me. In the gentlest way, he set me straight on a few things that may have been problematic if Id not talked with him.

Made 4 trips to the store to get the right SW color.Took in an old paint can with a Sherwin Williams label to get some touch up paint. The guy glanced at the label and mixed what was supposed to be the same color with the same name. It wasnt even close.Brought it back and told another employee about the previous guy mixing the wrong color paint. He said that sounds about right and that theyd need a sample from the wall even though it was a Sherwin Williams paint can with the Sherwin Williams recipe on it.I cut off part of the wall and brought it back. They were able to match it pretty close. They charged for the new paint and refused to refund the paint they messed up.

Wouldn’t recommend went up their today and got two gallons of concrete stain. Was told that they gave me the 30% off discount and I asked brandon over and over and confronted him about it and he told me that he did. He didn’t I called the other store and he didn’t give me the discount. Then I tried to call their store and no one would answer. Would rate zero if possible.

Incredibly grateful for the employee named Laiken in the Bentonville store. My husband and I just bought a home and Laiken helped my children choose colors that went well together, and helped my husband and I chose colors for the rest of our home including tray ceiling, walls, cabinets, and doors. Showed her pictures of the house and hardwood flooring and brought in the carpet sample to ensure everyone chose colors that worked with the carpet we chose and existing hardwood floors. She helped us figure out which walls to paint the accent colors based on windows, lighting, and flooring. She helped us choose the type of paint and paint finish based on the room use to ensure we werent having to repaint due to cleaning, etc. I dont think I ever realized the complexity of simple paint. She saved me a great deal of stress and headaches. I, honestly, cannot thank her enough for being so patient, listening to my 4 children, my husband, and myself explain what we were wanting and being able to pull out all together into a list so I had everything I needed and where it was going. She has superior customer service and skills. From the depths of my bucket of sanity, thank you for making an already tough job, so much easier. I honestly cannot sing Miss Laikens praises enough.

The service was terrible I was there to pick up one gallon and it took them 25-30 minutes to make a single gallon of paint and it wasnt even a complicated order it was one of there colors they should have been able just to straight shoot it from there machine and go not only did they take forever to complete my order they were also very rude and short with me from the moment I came in I even saw a few employees playing on there phone I was very disappointed by the disrespect and time it took to complete my order I will not be going back

We painted all the rooms in our home with SW paint in Sept of 2016. We had some repair work done this month which required us to repaint 2 large living room walls. We had to order the paint from the local store and waited a couple days for it to arrive. When we went to the store to purchase 2 gallons to ensure we had enough to complete the job, the store associate told us we could only purchase 1 gallon because this was only for touch ups and they could only sell us 1 gallon and they would have to hold the rest in case other customers have wanted to purchase some. When pressured, the associate sold us 2 gallons and still had 2 in stock after our purchase. I’ve never been limited on a paint purchase before in my life and will take my future business to another store.

Arguably the worst customer experience I’ve ever heard of. My wife purchased several gallons of paint from the store last week. While at the store, the associate was very condescending. They gave her the incorrect paint, an associate called and had her return to the store to swap the paint after she and the kids had already made it home. Once she returned to the store to get the proper paint, to confirm the correct paint this time, associate wanted to show that it was correct color, so he opened the lid to show her the color. On the way home, the paint lid opened, spilling paint all over the interior of her SUV. Upon her calling the store and speaking with Brian, the manager, she was told “not our fault, paint lids come off all the time ... just use mineral spirits”. The paint is oil based and is not coming out of her carpet, so we will be having to replace. Clearly the customer does not matter at this store. I will never purchase anything from this store again. Very disappointed in the way she was treated all the way around.

Very professional, experts at what they do. They were able to match a Pittsburgh color paint better than the actual Pittsburgh paint company, Spectrum (just a couple blocks away.) Spectrum tried and failed 3 times matching their own paint, and even told me that the third time will be the last time they try to match for free. I took my woes to Sherwin, and they said they will not stop trying until it is right, or my money back. They nailed it the very first try! If you are coming into Bentonville from the east, go ahead and pass Spectrum Paint, keep going a couple more miles and you will find Sherwin-Williams. Thats the place to go.

Sherwin Williams is pricier for equipment but they had what I was looking for.

Came in trying to get paint for vinyl siding and didnt get mych help. Store person said any paint would work. I had a half gallon of previous paint and it peeled, so obviously any paint wont work . Finally decided to buy a $100 gallon of their best paint and was told it would be 3-4 hours before they could mix it! Really? Told them to have a nice day! Piss poor customer service!! Shoo somewhere else!

Sometimes theres a long wait and other times there isnt.. if they are busy do not expect great customer service. However if they are not busy then expect to get the best customer service around.

Sherwin-Williams has low VOC paints. These are very important to all homes and businesses. The staff is very helpful. Top quality paint and other products are what I really appreciate.

If you know exactly what you want, this is the place for you. If not, if can be uncomfortable, and the staff, condescending. I dont know paint, and thought coming to a paint store, rather than a Big Box Store, would be an advantage. I am going back to the Big Box place, where the guy behind the paint counter was cheerful and didnt talk down to me for not being a professional painter.

It took 3 trips to get a quart of interior trim color matched paint mixed. The paint was excellent color match but was too glossy. I supplied a piece a trim with the paint on it. When I questioned the store employee on the fact that it was too glossy, he replied that it is faded. I am sure that there are flat, satin, semi gloss and glossy paints. I chose SWP based on the excellent results I have had in the past with the SWP store in Russellville, AR.

Helpful staff. Friendly. I was helped immediately upon entering store. And the salesman helped me save me money on my purchase.

The manager at this store has been there for years and theyve always had poor customer service. A few weeks ago, I was in the store during their bucket sale trying to buy something and while an employee was ringing up my order, the manager stepped up and pushed him to the side and voided the sale so that he could check out one of his painting contractors who was buying the bucket of paint. I guess this is why that store has problems because he leads by example.He and most of his employees always been condescending to retail customers because that is the culture at the Bentonville store. What I dont understand is why the store doesnt just convert themselves to strictly commercial because they obviously dont want the retail business unless somebody is buying paint and equipment to do one large house project.

Very very expensive paint. Wasnt super impressed with the quality of the quart I bought as it didnt cover as well as some other paints Ive used, and a quart was almost twice as much as the gallon of the other stuff.
