DO NOT USE American Home Patient. I strongly urge anyone with issues such as oxygen, sleep apnea, needing equipment for breathing, etc. to use another medical supply facility. American Home Patient does not carry the quality of care that they once did. If you need help in finding another provider, call your doctor and have them help you in the search. I do not say this to be hateful. I say it because of the truth behind it. I am going by personal experience. Also, it was even confirmed to me by my doctors office on my last visit (end of January) - that many of his patients are not getting the quality of care and needs met by American Home Patient. I am one of Dr. Madhu Kalyans patients at the Northwest Pulmonology & Sleep Clinic in Springdale, AR. I suspect that a big part of the problem with American Home Patient is due to one of the employees, Tim. As that is who has refused to work with me for over a year now. Tim - the employee, I just hung up (February 23, 2015) with after he outright lied to me over the phone stating he had called me on a certain date and actual had not. I confirmed it by pulling up call records while on the phone with him (Thank you Cox Communications). Just as he lied on the 13th about sending supplies again, which he never did, since I called today to follow up after a week had gone by with nothing. I believe that records have been altered, because his claims of communicating with a patient, helping, etc. do not match what I can physically present to prove he is lying. Tim has failed on numerous occasions to see through doctor orders, etc., with my account alone. And knowing that I am not the only patient at my doctors practice who is suffering the abuse and neglect of American Home Patient, Id be willing to bet that Tim has a hand in those patients care as well.Save your stress and frustration and use another medical supply facility. Dont fall victim the way many of us have.
