O Di Bella Music is great! They offer a wide product selection and go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. I was very impressed with their exceptional service to guide me in my American Professional II Telecaster purchase. I plan to use them again. They are highly recommended for any musical need!
Great local music store. All the guitars were well set up and included some great high end options. Not hectic and noisy like GC
I needed assistance and no one was able to assist. The guy at the register seemed annoyed the other kept saying he’s hungry but no one was able to help! Took my business elsewhere. Find better staff that will welcome people into the store not staff that get annoyed when someone asks a question! I wish I can give this place 0 stars!
Very helpful and informative staff. Large selection of instruments, DJ equipment and general audio file interests. The merchandising is a little bit untidy but generally well organized by category. The location is TERRIBLE! Its nestled at a VERY busy intersection. No matter what approach you take it feels dangerous to try and get into the parking lot. Getting out is easy because it utilizes the traffic light. Good place for getting started with a new instrument and above average if youre a pro.
O Di Bella is a true gem. So glad to have a music store like this near home. The selection is great, the staff is friendly and helpful - especially Tom who Ive worked with multiple times. Always happy to support this place and recommend it to others.
A great place to learn about/ to buy music equipment and instruments. Large selection with helpful staff that are able to help with most queries and can also fix your instruments (at a price obviously). Would reccomend checking it out if youre in the area and looking for a place to buy/ learn about musical instruments.
The staff was friendly, asked if we needed help several times, and even offered to order a specific tablature book for me. They definitely answered our questions. The store contained a great selection of guitars and books. I would have loved to see more ukuleles, but I know theyre nowhere near as popular as guitars. I also found a great microphone holder here that really grips the mic I was unable to find elsewhere.*I updated my review from a 3 to a 4 after my second visit a few weeks ago*
Bought a Mesa 2x12 Recto cab, and I must say, their customer service made me pleased to spend the money here. Their staff was knowledgeable and helped answer my questions before I placed my order, and were incredibly helpful in making sure it was fulfilled quickly. Loving my new cab and will be looking to shop here again in the future!
Exelent, perfect and fantastic place, helpful and friendly personals.Thank you very much.
I have living in Bergenfield for 12 years and never get my foot inside the store. the inventory they have is huge. I went today to pick up a violin for my daughter. The rental and buy programs they have is really good. I planning to get guitar classes soon. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Lots of neat instruments always fun to visit.
No other music store compares. If they dont have it, you dont need it (but theyll still get it for you).
I traveled about 40 minutes to get my guitar setup and adjusted there because a good friend who is a pro guitar player said that they are the best around. I was not disappointed. I had my guitar setup (adjusted to play better) and had the nut and saddle replaced with a high-end material. They also restringing the guitar and it plays great and sounds even better. The cost was very competitive and the services cost me around $75 where other shops wanted $150-180 because of the nut and saddle work.
I can’t say enough good things about O. DiBella Music. I specifically dealt with Tom M., who really went above and beyond with customer service.I wanted to order an item that that was out of stock in the shop, but Tom was good enough to place a special order for me and keep me updated as to status. When it came in, he not only gave me a phenomenal price, but overnight shipped it across the Hudson to Long Island to me for free as a thank you for waiting for the product to come in stock (stock delays were from the company that made the product in this post-Covid world, not O. DiBella.)It’s nice to know that there’s such a solid shop with stand up dudes that are dealers for some companies I use that are not so far from my house. I’d highly recommend them and will be getting all my tubes (and other items) from these guys. Thanks again Tom, you’re the man!
Been using this store for years, for work on brass instruments, for buying my kids instruments and now to buy my guitar and accessories. Everyone there has always given us great service been professional and friendly. Going back today.
They took the time to talk with me and explain everything we needed for our guitar and violin. They have a large selection.
Trash. Go to guitar center.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! I came here 10 min before closing time to pick up some Serato vinyls, and the staff was very kind and super helpful. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for audio or dj equipment.
Fair and reasonable prices. They buy used instruments and sell them as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. A very nice place to patronize
Great store Michael and a staff are very knowledgeable with new equipment and repairs
Helpful, knowlegeable workers. Highly recommend.
The guys are the best
Thanks for your great service and attention. Will be there on my next instrument and music need desition
Brought an instrument to get repaired they were so honest and quick and informed me that no repair was needed and refunded my deposit. Highly recommended
Best place to shop for musical instruments. They have very good prices at the least very competitive but what makes the place worth my time and money is the people whom are knowledgeable and most of all they are friendly and patient. After many years in the music biz, that is my go-to place.
Brought my 17 year old Taylor 414ce in for a neck reset/set up. The work was done perfectly and the pricing was very reasonable. Communication with the tech Jim was excellent. Highly recommended.
Had all the drum set parts we needed. Very helpful, informative and polite. Would recommend!
Recently went to O’Di Bella music for the DR string change event. While I was expecting to be waiting, there was only a couple of people in the store not for the same event. While the staff was friendly they didn’t ask me anything about me or was I interested in other products. I was expecting to fill out some type of mailing list or something in exchange for the free strings. The store is very nice, well set up, but with brick and mortar suffering I’ll rate I would have to thing they would try to sell me something or tell me about new products. While I appreciate the free strings I think you guys are missing your potential as a long time mom and pop store to build a clientele for sheer survival. You guys have a very nice store and I would hate to see you suffer the same premature fate as other retailers. I will support you in the future but please do something to help yourself. This review is in no way a bad review, but if customers do not see the value of local stores, they won’t be around. Best of Luck...
Nice collection and helpful staff
Excellent. My 7 year old son wanted guitar lessons (and a guitar). They took the time to explain us everything from A to Z, super courteous and very child friendly. Had a great first experience and would recommend.
Rude salesperson openly showing his annoyance when my wife and I were buying a ukelele there. I will go somewhere else.
Plenty of parking. Customer service was excellent, they answered all my questions.
My daughters bassoon has some minor leaks so her teacher recommended Dan Sagi at O DiBella. Not only did he do a fantastic job fixing the leaks but he did it while we waited. He is now our go-to person for all repairs. Thank you!
Great experience. Staff went above & beyond. Would absolutely do business here again.
People are great here. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Went in and talked about some instruments for my niece/nephew along with some information for myself about guitars/ukuleles and was super happy with the information I received. They tuned and tested for free, gave recommendations, etc. They definitely enjoy what they do and those are the best kinds of people.
Love this place! Been going here for my rentals/purchases for over 20 yrs! Always reasonable pricing for items. More stuff in stock than your average guitar center whether its buying strings for a guitar or a new speaker system.
The employees were very nice! The repairs arent too expensive I think and they did a lot!~However, they get very busy, it took around three weeks for my repair.
Great people, very knowledgeable. Installed a public address system at the school where I announce and did a tremendous job! Cant wait to use on August 29th for the first time! Mike and Les were awesome!
I work in a public school, and have been dealing with Mike from O.DiBella Music for the past three-four years. Mike has been an outstanding vendor. He listens to my needs, makes recommendations for how to proceed and follows up regularly. He has come through on every project that we have brought to his attention. I know that I can count on him to get the job done, and the product has always been excellent. I look forward to working on future projects with him for years to come.
Great people, great service, great prices!!
Thank you O. DiBella Music - 15 years ago we bought a drum set for my son which he has used for many years and which helped foster in him a love of music. He now plays the drums, guitar, bass guitar and dabbles in a few other instruments. It was a pleasure being in your store again today, buying my same son a chromatic harmonica. Thanks again and best wishes.
I take piano lessons here with Ms. Molly. Shes a great teacher. My dad plays guitar while I take lessons and we buy all our equipment here. He speaks with Tommy and Alex all the time. Everyone is very nice.
The right place to buy or rent any music instrument they always take good care of customers I love that place
Friendly neighborhood music shop. They consistently have what I need. Last trip was for o clamps to hang stage lights and they had several options in stock.
I would much rather go to O. DiBella Music than a Guitar Center. Theyre one of the last independently owned music stores around. You get better service from a much more knowledgeable staff.
This is a really good music shop.
Right in the neighborhood. Keeps me from having to travel miles away to get quality gear. Highly recommend 👍🏾
Im new to the neighborhood and the guitar tech really knows what hes doing. I had two tricky situations, one with a National guitar that had intonation problems and (of course) the wooden biscuit is not adjustable, but he nailed it. Next up, a 40 year old Rickenbacker 4001 with special challenges in using heavy gauge strings and he knew all about the Ricks quirks.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff! Sales guy went way out of his way to accommodate my needs.
I am an oboe teacher and a student came to me with an oboe that was not suitable to his needs. I contacted O DiBella and they worked with me to get an oboe within my students limited budget. When the oboe came to me, I was thrilled that it played so well. Now, a young oboist can make all of the progress his efforts deserves. Thank you.
Fabulous store for music lovers!
The people that work here are very helpful and passionate about music. We were looking around for a place to rent a clarinet for my daughter and everyone was so helpful and nice. Pricing was very reasonable with different options.
Large verity of musical stuff. I’ve gone here since I was a kid so the store is old but the people there are very nice and I got my first piano lessons there.
Everything we need is always in stock very helpful staff
O DiBella Music surprised me. The store, from the outside, didnt look that big. Inside was another story. There are separate sections for everything, from electric guitars to acoustics, ukuleles, of course drums, plus loads of accessories. Its s great source for equipment, and gifts for musicians.
Very friendly atmosphere and I found great deals. I just bought a guitar case for twenty bucks
Lou Carlini was very helpful in providing flutes to test out and choose the right one.
Been to that store for 20 years now, good service, employees, my daughter loves music and always wants to come here. Bought a violin here still in good shape after 18 years, and passed it on to my other daughter (youngest) Very happy with this store.
Good honest employees. Friendly proprietor who is knowledgeable. Instrument repair staff would bend over backwards to help you with repair issues. Stay away from larger music stores such as Sam Ashley and Music and arts. They dont care about honest and hard working customers.
I completed my second trip to O.Dibella yesterday after they neglected to provide us with all of the pieces for our rented drum kit. Upon setting up yesterday, we realized we were still missing pieces. When I called, I spoke to an employee named Les, who was apologetic and sympathetic about my desire to not return to the store a third time in the past 3 days. He offered to come hand deliver the remaining parts and to also look over the drum kit to make sure we absolutely had everything we needed. Im still a little irked that this is a problem in the first place, but they are doing their best to make it right.
Local area destination for people who are musically inclined, maybe you need a lesson or two, maybe you need to purchase or repair what you already have - O’DiBella is the place to go. My son has been taking drum lessons for years with “Russ” . Great place
I had a great experience at O.DiBella Music. Lou is an expert flute repairman, he always try his best to do the job, thank you very much for your time in making the repairs. Dan is always very helpful when I have any questions. All staffs in O.DiBella Music are nice and friendly.
The music teachers are great. Theyre very supportive and encourage your child to be and do there best at music. They push them to try harder.
A REAL music store which caters to the local and broad community. Not a big chain! Theyve got some things that I, as a music teacher, just cant always wait for via approved sellers like BG products, king & conn sousaphone bits, some music copies, hetman products, etc. Well worth the long drive for me if I need something!
The staff was very nice and helpful
Helpful. Honest musician merchants. Family style.
Great store !!! Been coming for years. Friendly helpful staff. Good overall selection.
Great variety of instruments. Well informed staff. Affordable music lessons offered in the basement on a variety of instruments.
Its an amazing place. They have and Im not joking the best clarinet technician there. Dan Sagi has had people from Virginia go to him for fixes. The staff is nice and they are not incompetent, because they know what they are talking about. Especially one of the staff named Charlie. I have two other music stores that are 5 minutes away while O DiBella is 30 minutes away, but we drive the 30 minutes because it is worth it. There is one nearby me that almost lost my clarinet and the worst part is that they kept it for two weeks, I had a performance coming up, and THEY DIDNT EVEN REPAIR IT. Trust me all the band directors that I have met trust O DiBella more than anywhere else. You must go there!
Best possible place to buy music gear and Ive tried them all. Very friendly expert staff and a great selection.
Best place..and staff..and for repairs.. amps too go speak to mike D. He is the greatest& his whole staff is very helpfull ..and they have everything
Great place they fixed my old anp and made it work like new could not be happier
Staff friendly and very helpful. Helped to answer a question about which product we needed to buy
Joe Pallo, Mr. Di Bella, Jim and the rest of the team at O Di Bella Music, Bergenfield New Jersey, are always knowledgeable, attentive, and First Class. I recommend them to anyone from beginner to the touring/recording professional.Kendall BrownRecording EngineerProduction Manager
I mean like. Its odibella
A store with a long history and pretty famous within the community. The staff was always helpful to my friend and I and were always ready to answer any questions we had.
Last of this type of store! If you need it musically, they have it.
A legendary local institution. Friendly, knowledgeable staff with a great selection of equipment and a first class service department.
Awesome music store. They have everything!
Very nice peopleDaughter is a beginnerFLUTE LESSONSAnd instructors are very good.Thats my experience
Best around. All equiptment, knowledge and teaching!
They expertly brought my dads 56 Gibson back for another generation of enjoyment.
Very Nice customer service. They are helpful and will try their utmost best to assure you get what you are looking for.
Good Place to get good musical instruments. Very nice people!
Had everything I needed. Staff is courteous and efficient. Gj
Purchased an amplifier from them on Reverb. Order processing and delivery were fast Unexpectedly and unfortunately however, and through no fault of ODiBella, it was not something I could use, My refund request was acknowledged and approved the same day I sent it to them. But most impressive, earning them 5 stars to say the least, my PayPal account received a full refund literally within minutes of FedEx delivering the returned amp to them. To me, that kind of response and service says more about this companys ethics and professional approach to taking care of customers, than anything else. As it was returned, I cant review them on Reverb. Hopefully this review will be seen by anyone considering a purchase.
The folks here are amazing; friendly, professional and above all - knowledgeable.Highly recommended.
Great customer service, very friendly staff and lots of instruments.
Very helpful and knowledgeable sales associates. Great experience!
I have been a customer for 5 years and I must say that the customer service is great. I am not the musician in the family, but I purchase all of my sons gear there. They even let me return a music book that I incorrectly purchased. Try that on the internet sites. My son wanted a custom instrument and I was lost. I called and spoke with Charlie and he said no problem, he ordered the parts (without a deposit) and built it for me.Well just picked it up and it was better then I could have hoped for. The best part was it was LESS then what he quoted me. Thanks Charlie and ODB!!!
Good place to get strings and check out guitar deals.
Nice that a mom and pop store still exists in this day and age. A little pricey, but thats expected from a non chain.
Really nice staff, and great music lessons, guitar prices are good and cheap, however strings, tuners, cables, and stuff like that are over priced
Great independent shop. Wonderful service, great people.
Really nice store with a great selection of Taylor acoustic guitars.
Amazing place Amazing staff Amazing prices=O Di Bella Music
Not a huge selection but the staff is great and they are local so its perfect for picking up something without having to drive to paramus. Prices seem to be the same as competitors.
