Called on Friday and were able to send a tech on Saturday for garage door repair. Tech was prompt within the time frame, courteous and knowledgeable. Door works great now!

I had a problem with my door. Called first thing Monday morning - holiday week. They were able to come same day! In just a few hours time. Dave came, explained the problem, fixed it promptly. Serviced the doors while he was here. 30 or 40 minutes later - all done! Not the cheapest, but for the great service - well worth it! Thanks for great work and great service. Happy New Year!

I had an excellent experience with Door Boy and in dealing directly with Mark McManus for my order. My house was near completion and we expanded a single garage door to a double. I had contacted a few other garage door vendors, and either they were dealing with extremely long lead times (4-6 weeks) or they didn’t seem eager to do business. I was away in another state during the renovation, so Mark personally went to my home with every sample I was considering and sent pictures with each sample against the home to help me make the best selection. One of the samples was outside of my budget, however, he was able to find a more affordable, nearly identical type and I’m extremely grateful for this. I ordered the door and it was ready for installation 2-1/2 weeks later!!! The service technician, Nixon, performed the installation and was very knowledgeable, cleaned up after the installation and answered all of my questions throughout the process. Also worth mentioning: one of the other garage door companies would not install my old garage door opener which was less than two years old and in great working condition. I would have been forced to order a new opener and pay for the installation, an additional $700. Instead, Door Boy agreed to install whatever motor I had, provided it was functional, or but one from them at a reasonable price. All in all, Completely Satisfied. Thank you Door Boy!

Installers JR and Michael were a few minutes EARLY for our appointment. They were polite, neat, worked tirelessly and efficiently, and took a good amount of time to explain all of the features of the new garage door openers. The cost was exactly what the estimate said it would be. I also had springs replaced by Door Boy last week, and that installer (don’t remember his name! I’m sorry! ) was equally wonderful. Roger, the man I spoke to in the office, was also very easy to talk to and do business with. Highly recommend these folks.

I was able to get an appointment quickly. I expected a hard-sell to buy a whole new door but was pleasantly surprised that the technician fixed the door quickly and also explained what about my door is obsolete and gave me advice about when I would need a new door and a rough estimate, so I can decide when & how to get a new one but in the meantime my door works. I was very pleased!

We recently had an issue with one of our garage doors so we called Door Boy to assess the problem. They replaced a few parts and now the door is so much quieter than even after the initial install. They even checked our other door and said all was good. Ive had experiences where companies try and find other issues when on site. Im happy to say they were reasonably priced and professional!

Im very happy with the service I received from Door Boy. Beginning with my first call to Roger, he was very courteous and pleasant. He responded professionally to all of my questions and kept his word as to when Dave, the awesome tech, would arrive and take measurements of my broken torsion spring. He actually was early, which almost never happens! Dave returned this morning to replace the springs and tune up the doors. My broken door was repaired in about 24 hours from my first call. After calling 4 garage door repair companies only one answered and gave me a great rate Door Boy in Berkeley Heights.I spoke with Roger, he was friendly, answered all my questions and they came out the same day. After the job was completeI needed them to come out to do one addition thing and they did, their service is excellent!On a side note, I started to receive calls from the other garage door repair companies a day or two later, all of them were between $100 to $200 dollars more for the same repair.I am very satisfied with Door Boy in Berkeley Heights and would recommend them them.Thank you for doing a great job

Door Boy Tech Steve was great. He explained the process of fixing the spring in our garage door which was stuck down because of a broken spring. The job was done in just a few hours and just in time to get our cars back in the garage before the 6 inches of snow we received the next day! Would definitely recommend Door Boy.

The entire experience with Door Boy has been challenging. The salesman was trying to talk us out of what we were asking for right from the beginning. Then the door took a small forever to come in. When the installers were done i looked over the door and one of the window panes was broken. They insisted on full payment and assured me that the replacement would be in stock and installed within only a couple weeks. Its been over 3 months!!! I have called multiple times, and each time i am told that its a problem with the warehouse, or that the door will be in any day. The Door Boy staff never calls back, never provides an updates and i have to continually ask them to perform the services theyve already been paid to complete. I will never recommend this company and am disappointed that our general contractor used them for our addition. They are terrible!!! If youre looking for shoddy service, questionable staff and no business acumen, give them a call...otherwise, find someone else to do the work for you.

Talk to Roger, It could be difference between one and five stars just like in my case. Hes the best.

If I could give zero stars I would. They sold me an opener in Jan 2015. Now, 16 months later, it doesnt close properly. So I called for service. They came out, said there was no problem, and charged me $171 for a service call. Unbelievable. They guy spends 10 minutes, says there is no problem and that I owe $171 for their time. Stay away from this company.

DO NOT USE !!!!!Called for service and was quoted a service charge $85 and labor $75/hr by office person to just come out....Had a $6 hinge replaced and was expecting a charge of around $166 for the hour.... as time past I was wondering what the guy was doingNext thing I see bill and a total of $241 and asked how that figure was tallied...Technician explained the charges:Service charge $85Labor 2 hours $150Hinge $62 hours of labor to change 1 hinge !!!!!!!!Technician was in vehicle for almost half hour... inquired about that and his response was he was doing paperwork and if I had issue to call officeAnd that I did... gentleman I spoke with was so rude, trying to explain that not only a hinge was replaced but servicing doors was included...all the guy did was oil up wheels and hinges... and that takes 2 hours to do???STAY FAR FAR AWAY from Door Boy !!!!!!!

Installation service was fine. Came next day. BEWARE OF ADD ONS!! After installing an entire new Marantec system at full price, they charged $38 for 1 extra remote ($14.75 online) and $68 for keypad ($30 online). I asked for a price match at least and the Manager Cheri Perez wrote Door Boy does not have any price matching availability. We go within the manufacturer’s suggested retail price.Sad that a long standing company gouges for $50. So much for developing customer loyalty.

Twenty year customer but never again. They charged me $350 for a torsion spring on a standard door. My friend used Drosik Overhead Door and was billed only $150.

Save yourself the trouble. They took too long, overbilled, and their customer service is nonexistent. Youll only be disappointed.
