I have been a Stop and Shop customer for more than 10 yrs now in various locations. Their prices are very reasonable. Their staff are very friendly and helpful. I love Stop and Shop brand.

Berkeley heights stop n shop has an amazing manager named Vanessa. She helped me with my issue, made me feel heard and valued. Highly recommend this store!

A solid market with a good selection and well maintained facility.

A decent food store. Clean and bright. Vegetables usually fresh and a good variety of fruit, along with most of the usual things you might need.

Lot of selection choices

I have been ordering grocery from here for 2 months and EVERY TIME there’s items missing! I had to call customer service and get refund, it’s so frustrating!

One checker open so most are forced to use self check. Only problem is limited room for bagging groceries and absolutely filthy keypad that obviously never gets cleaned. They probably need a new manager.

Expensive and hardly any produce.

Employees who prepare food such as the bakery dont bother with wearing masks. Great place to get sick.

This grocery store had what we needed from cold cuts to dairy products. Aisle signs were well labelled to locate items but service was slow from deli helper to cashier. Staff, however, were friendly.

Very bad service today just now i went to buy water but the lady refuse us to buy water of 10 casesBefore we always buy water cases from here nobody stop usBut this lady is so disrespectful to us i think maybe she have a racial problem with us i come here so oftenly but today we are so disappointed 😞

Smaller than the others Ive shopped in. Clean, and not typically crowed. However, usually 1 cash register open and your forced to use the self checkout, it maybe fine if you a have fee items but when you have a weeks worth of groceries and a wife in a walker its not very considerate.

The staff is so slow and incompetent. The cashier want me to hold the flowers and he can scan it. Ok, I think you were too tired ...

Was waiting too long in the gluten free pasta shopping aisle to find out if they had more in the back or if a shipment came in. Ugg.

I keep giving this shop another try but too many times i have problems with food gone bad. Today I looked on the sale rack. I guess end of lines, day old etc. But apparently RECALLED products are also there. Today I put bags of dog snacks in my court but had a bad feeling. Thank goodness I googled it and found they were recalled!! This shop is local and I hate it.i bought a lot of meat on sale and I sure hope it wasnt recalled or bad. Horrible not to be able to trust your local supermarket.

I shop here quite frequently and never have had an issue. Today was the exception...I picked up a Chicken Salad wrap from the Deli. From the outside it looked tasty! When I got back to my office, i opened it up and found a long black hair!!!!! GROSS!!!!!This review is for this visit only....I called to discuss and told them it wasnt worth the drive to come back for a refund to which they chuckled... I said this isnt funny...

First time shopping here and it was great. Items were displayed well and the customer service was terrific!

The US have some of the best and worst supermarkets. Stop and Shop is one of the worst. Theres an aisle dedicated to pasta and sauces. While the selection of cook-chill foods is limited to nasty hungry man frozen dinners and the likes. Meat selection is variable in quality, as are the vegetables. If only this could be replaced by a Wegmans or a Trader Joes the quality of shopping in Berkeley Heights would be so much better.

Open late so its great

Ive purchased several times and found after going home that the items are either expired or expiring in several days. When going back to exchange the item, no one even acknowledges the issue. Definitely check expiration dates prior to purchasing.

Good quality products (produce, deli and butcher areas are all excellent), decent selection (some aisles better than others), lower prices than most local supermarkets and usually has some great in-store sales.

Convenient, and I love Scan-It, but I cant give a higher rating because I absolutely HATE the fact that they keep replacing brand name choices with their own store-label products.

I have been living one block from this supermarket, but always using another one, because a lot of products have expired date, service is very poor. A few times I bought milk products with expired date. A few days ago for Mother’s Day I expect guests and founded that I do not have enough mayonnaise at home, I went to this store,because it was closer one and I bought Hellman’s brand, when I opened mayonnaise at home I was in shock, mayonnaise looked as not fresh, I looked expiration date and date was expired 3 days ago. I went to ShopRite and to buy another one. I will never go to this supermarket again.

No enforcing one way aisles, no enforcing 6 foot distancing, no frequent cleaning and sanitizing high traffic areas (aka the whole store, especially the checkout areas), employees wearing only face shields do not wear them properly rendering them useless, employees fail to follow one way aisles, employees fail to follow 6 foot distancing, etc.

Please whatever you do do not buy fish from Stop & Shop in Berkeley Heights they sell outdated fish and Mark it down and way past its shelf life trust me I was an employee there

This place is like home and the peoples is family best place to go gofer shopping

Extremely clean Stop & Shop, very pleasant staff, great dele, great organic section, great bakery, great butcher, overall just phenomenal Stop & Shop. Also has great lunch options, great soups, hot chicken meals, and the deli can make any sub you could imagine for a very reasonable price.

I have an friend thats works at that store.. And I was told the store had put all there refridgerated items outside after they lost power this past october due to an bad snow storm.. Then they put all the items back on there shelves once they had power after 3 days.. Gotta be careful shopping there, because you might buy milk or meat that been outside for 2 or 3 days..
