One of the best antiques stores in the Bay area!The prices are reasonable in this lovely curated establishment. Each piece is selected tastefully, displayed with great thought that would make the piece shine for itself, and great ideas for setting two seemingly disparate objects/pieces in sync together.I am a fairly new antiques buyer, and I frequent Alameda antiques market, etc. With that lens of seeing and buying things in bulk, I appreciate the reasonable pricing and true-to-quality evaluation for the pieces at Black Swan Antiques.I was chuffed to have found traditional Japanese clogs (slippers) among other precious things here.10/10 would recommend.

So many antique stores I’ve gone into just seem like a bunch of “stuff”, that doesn’t have all that much personality or intent. But everything in Black Swan has so much character and is clearly curated AND the prices aren’t insane unlike other antique stores! A really delightful stop for me and I highly recommend!

I love this shop for unique quality gift giving. Priced well for the buyer, staged well for the buyer, inventory always interesting for the buyer, and an especially warm welcome to each & every buyer. It is an easy to find charming store.
