I am not crazy about donuts, but I am always looking for a place that carries a good chocolate covered old fashion. So, I went in and they had what I was looking for, and it was after lunch – a lot of places don’t have chocolate covered old fashions in the afternoon. It was great!Besides chocolate covered old fashions, there is a large variety of glazed donuts, frosted donuts, and donut holes. I hear their apple fritters are popular.If you’re thirsty, they have a refrigerated case with water, fruit juices (including apple juice), vitamin water, bottled Frappuccino, and more. They also have containers of coffee ready to consume. They also make breakfast sandwiches.Wheel chair accessible entrance.

Amazing food the picture I took of the sandwich doesnt do it justice. Sandwich was about the size of my hand almost and homemade biscuits just delicious flavor you can hear them whisking the eggs in the background while youre taking your order great find

If you havent gone to Dream Fluff, youre eating the wrong donuts. Its front entrance may be hard to miss, but do not skip over this spot. Classic, no frills donuts done really, really well. The huge apple fritter is the best Ive ever had - good to split between three people (or not...). The cinnamon/sugar and traditional glazed are a must.

Their donuts are fresh and delicious but I also love their breakfast sandwiches (I usually get it on croissant or everything bagel), much better prepared than other places...

My favorite doughnut shop! Always fresh, and melt in your mouth, mouthwatering. There diner menu keeps growing too. They make a mean hotlink sandwich.

Classic donut shop with tons of selection at great prices. They also offer sandwiches and many other options but Ive only ever gone for the donuts.

Omg thier glazed donuts are the best in the world!!! Perfectly fluffy and soft. Just thinking of it makes me drool now. Their apple fritters are also amazing. Its basically as big as your face.

This is my absolute favorite donut place to order from. In person store has cigarettes, lottery tickets and many other delicious breakfast options. The glazed and maple bacon donuts are the best along with the satisfying breakfast burrito

Not only are the donuts here AMAZING (and I love donuts and am very picky), they serve breakfast and lunch. I had some of the fluffiest pancakes ever yesterday and now lunch. Great burgers and fries. Yum!!

More than just donuts should be the name of this place. This friendly asian owned donut spot makes The Best toasted grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches next to my own creations. You have options of a variety of breads too. But the big winner are the maple bacon donuts. Everytime I go...theres at least 1 left....I believe the Universe designed it that way just for me. 😱😂 I hadnt had a maple bacon donut since I moved from downtown LA(Birdies LA has the best chicken and donuts on the planet)...sorry for side plug review within a review but...its the truth. Perfect place for a quick and easy breakfast! Loved the donuts, coffee, eggs, and hash browns.

Love this hole-in-the-wall! truly a classic; seal of approval from three generations of my family. Props for doing the only cake donut I like; its soft but not pastey in the mouth. Personal favorite: chocolate old fashioned or apple fritter. Worth crossing town for!

Friendly (most of the time) but great breakfast sandwiches and delicious donuts. Tons of drinks and outdoor tables. They make all the donuts on site. Im pretty sure its a family run shop. Dont miss Dream Fluff! I try a glazed old fashioned at every shop I go to and this one is very good. Get there early in the day as the donuts are made fresh every day. Seriously dont miss this place!

Dream Fluff, you are truly the stuff of dreams. I love dropping my kids off at school and stopping at Dream Fluff for an egg sandwich and some doughnuts before heading home to work. The family who runs this place is very nice, and they really have gone above and beyond to make it work during this COVID times. I love Dream Fluff and will continue to buy their food and play Lotto there for as long as Im able.

Of all the doughnuts, from all the different places we ate at on our trip to Oakland/San Francisco/Napa Valley... These were the BEST doughnuts by far. Even rivaling our two favorite spots in our home city, Atlanta. The kids proclaimed them BETTER than Atlantas. So theres that!

Best donuts in the East Bay. Breakfast menu is extensive and cheap. Couple that own and operate this joint take great pride in setting themselves apart from just another donut shop. Its starts with the dough and ends with the attentive and accurate service they provide every time.Ill be coming here so long as they stay open. You should too.

Honestly, not much “fluff” to be found here. Just a bare bones breakfast diner with some of the least pretentious and straight-to-the-facts food around. Killer prices too, I totally see what Scott brought us here.Consumed the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast muffin and a pile of munchkin holes.

I grew up walking here with friends after school and have a lot of love for Dream Fluff. I havent found a better chocolate-glazed old fashion ANYWHERE, and Ill always remember fondly how the staff would secretly slip a few extra donut holes in the bag when I was a kid. Amazing donuts at a good price, you wont regret coming here.

I got 2 dozens of both fancy and regular donuts for my company’s breakfast. They were gone in no time. The cream filled donuts were awesome and the bear claws were pretty tasty. First time here and it was a good one.

Love this place. Ive been coming to it for years. Its one of those spots where on the weekend Ill walk there for the breakfast sandwiches, which are great. I love the croissant sandwich with eggs, cheese and bacon. Great comfort food. And the donuts are delicious!Theres cozy indoor seating, and outdoor seating as well. Theres also coffee, other kinds of bottles drinks, and lotto tickets.Its in the corner of Ashby and College, which is busy, but theres a good chance of catching a spot, or going into the residential area.

Very solid regular donuts that are on the thicker puffier side and not too glazed.

Love this place. Good, traditional donuts for good traditional prices. Good coffee, but if its later in the day it might not be hot. I always risk it anyway. I havent tried the non-donut foods yet, but it smells good.

Everything a donut shop should be, and more.Perfect donuts. Good coffee. Pleasant staff.But theres more.There is also a counter where breakfast and lunch are served.In a neighborhood full of good food and good coffee, this place easily holds its own.

Best donut shop in town! How long this shop has been around is astonishing. Service is amazing and very welcoming. Wide range of delicious donuts. From bite sized donut holes to giant apple fritters! The menu has very nice selections of breakfast and lunch. Theres a lot of different drink options to satisfy everyone. Dream fluff is a great place to eat and you should definitely try it out!

I love getting an egg sandwich here and a donut to go on the weekend. The donuts are top notch and the owners are very nice. Havent found a donut type I havent enjoyed yet.

Best donuts in the Berkeley area

Just a simple old school donut shop and breakfast lunch counter. Everything is always fresh. I know a few places that are still selling donuts from the day before when they first open, not Dream Fluff. I get there at 4am and the donuts are still a little warm. They are cooked to perfection, the yeast donuts are right at the line of baked and underbaked so they melt in your mouth. Owner is super nice. When I cant sleep I come get some breakfast and watch the news. I hope this place does not close or can find another location when it has to move. But for the next year I know where Im spending my dollars.

Been here forever. Had my first donut here 40+ years ago. Hasnt changed much. Thats a good thing. Classic donuts. Well crafted. Low key environment. Oozes history and humble neighborhood charm.

Tasty morsels and very friendly service. There is nothing like walking into a place that actually bakes their inventory on the spot. If you are looking for a custard filled donut, but dont see any in the case ~ guess what, theyll fill one/two/ten! up for you right then and there. Now..... I have bought donuts at Dream Fluff for many years. I just went there and the windows/cases are dirty and it feel like it hasnt been cleaned for awhile. I think it needs a spring cleaning.

Old school and great. Donuts, drinks and surprisingly good breakfast meals. No pretensions, hipsters or artisanal anything. Decent coffee, friendly.

Everything is tasty here, but the maple french cruler is the delicious dream fluff this place is named after (my opinion)! I also recommend the breakfast sandwiches.

I work in the area and love this place for its donuts and breakfast sandwiches...also the cheeseburger they make tastes like a mix between fast food and homemade--which is exactly what I want in a cheeseburger a lot of the time. Very nice people too.

One would think that racism wouldnt be an issue in this day and age in California but it is definitely alive and well at this shop. The obvious turnoff was evident as soon as my sons and I entered this establishment. The service was off putting and I can say with all seriousness that I would never return to this shop.Wasngreat
