Surprisingly well stocked with hard to find items. I really enjoy coming here.
Has so much of everything I need and want at shattuck market. From fruit to cookies to ice cream and all the staples. Great Customer Service! I recommend doing light shopping here.
Great stop for high end coffee and supporting local small business
Needed a gallon of milk, Shattuck Market is close...
Great prices! easy to find anything you need. Lines do move very quickly. Products are of quality.
The stores big enough and has a decent selection of vegetables and fruits. Simply the best!
Hours are also never reliable and horrible customer service. Have seen arguments between man behind cashier and other customers before, but had never happened to me. Today I decided to help out a smaller business during covid quarantine by walking in and purchasing something despite the fact I had no need to buy anything. Was yelled at Go somewhere else! after placing my non-intrusive folded bike near me as I was shopping.
Very friendly owner with a surprisingly large selection of goods for the store’s size. A great option when you forgot something for dinner, need dessert, or just a quick snack!
A place where you can find products from different places in the world. Good prices and fresh food.
A very small grocery store with limited selection of items and selling old close to expiry items. The fruits were almost too ripe. The bananas wouldnt last more than 2 days. The milk and bread were close to expiry. Who sells bread that expires on the same day? The milk also expired in just 2 days. The shop didnt have shopping carts or baskets. Wont ever visit again.
Great place, sweet owner! :) my usual grocery store.PS, Support small business yall!
Its a really good market. Prices are good. It has all basic need food which is good since you dont waste your time in big stores by walking from one corner to another.
Just went there tonight on my way back from work to buy some snacks ( I had been there before and really enjoyed their selection!). Apparently i was spending too much time texting and looking at my phone while walking in the store and selecting items cause the man working there thought I was taking pictures and kicked me out of the store telling me to « go somewhere else ».Im not quite sure what happened.
Great selection of healthy items, unusual items, fresh fruit, specialty non-alcoholic beverages, and dairy-free Ben & Jerrys! Plus essentials like TP, soap, milk (almond), eggs, coffee, and Takis!! And also Abdi is the best!
We went quite late to grap something to eat. You expect to pay something more in such a place but we ended up with a 2-month expired candy bar. Avoid at all costs...
The cleanliness on display was a welcome change for a corner market like this.Tgere was a decent albeit limited selection that leaned towards a hipster clientele. Staff was friendly.
Small and somewhat spartan, youd think the place has only snacks and the essentials. It has those, but also an impressive set of baking supplies and a spice rack big enough for a supermarket. If you need chips, juice, eggs, cornstarch, or turmeric in a hurry, this is the place to go.
The best shop near my home. They have all the essentials and delicious organic staffs.
Good energy. We are always uplifted. Yummy snacks too.Oh, and study Krishnamurti.
Great local store!!
Small neighborhood grocery, limited produce, lots of candy, does carry soy milk. I buy oranges there, open late usually until 11pm when UC Berkeley is in session, shorter hours when campus is closed.
Talked to the store mgr today regarding this issue and she offered a refund immediately.
Pretty good selection of items for a small shop
They have mangos!
Its a decent market and owner is nice, but only Asian thing about it is the owner. Not sure why its categorized as Asian.
Nice man, enjoy the shopping moment
Great place
Rude cashier
Okay
Has all the basics
