Been here and there in the Berkeley area. When it comes to a real liquor store look no further. The owner and son have been advocates to the black community for over 30 years. Yes 35 years to be precise. Iv known them since I was 12 and these people have never been an issue. I was deeply saddened to find out he had 2 strokes. But being a good man he pulled through. I will never go to another liquor store on the Shattuck strip. This is my store and Im never going anywhere else.The people are awesome and they welcome all walks of life. I encourage everyone to visit this store. Great prices Convenient.

I ordered to return an item. In all my years the person behind the counter returned items.The clerk himself was disrespectful, rude, and threatening.He was completely unprofessional.I told him this and he banned me.Cool.This was bigotry plain and simple.Please shop African American establishments.Their prices are horrible.There are so many other options.#shopblackowned#buyblack#berkeley#bigotry
Nice little corner liquor store. They have a decent selection of liquors but for the rest its hit and miss, their shelves are not always replenished. I have never got any issue with the service there. The guys behind the counter are friendly!

Who ever smokes menthol cigarettes you can get yours in this store since they banned selling them in oakland and SF. I go get mine every week here thanks to black and white store.
Young guy at the counter is very very rude any time you ask him a question my neighbor warned me however I had to find out myself..He is VERY RUDE ALWAYS...
